Burning downloaded Itunes tracks to CD

This question has prob been asked before, but i downloaded a album from i tunes and its obviously in this m4p format, i wanted to burn this to mp3 cd so i can listen to it in the car, i burned loads of other albums and they all play fine (were mp3s) and only the m4p album wont play.
Their must be a easy way to do this?

Well i burned the files to a CD (audio CD) and ripped them back into hard drive using media player, which made them WMA files, so thats one way of doing it but it seems a bit of a long way round lol.

  • Burning downloaded iTunes TV shows in iDVD 2 and iMovie 3

I'm very new to burning CD's on my computer, i've never done it before, although ive known I have the capability. What im trying to do is burn a DVD of my downloaded TV shows from iTunes, but I dont know where to begin really. I tried uploading the file directly into iDVD which didn't work, as well as importing it into iMovie so i could put it in iDVD afterwards and it said the file could not be "parced". As i said I'm new to all of this, and might not be able to do it at all, but I would like to know if through new programs i would be able ot burn a DVD of the shows i have bought from iTunes.

Are there any other programs you know of that would work??
the Terms Of Use of this board don't allow to publish workflows which override copy protection mechanisms ...
(aside the fact, I don't know any for iTS videos )
and before complaining.. ... I own 'em, I paid for..!
no, you do NOT own the video, you just paid for the usage, under the ToU, you have accepted while joining iTS ...
the show is owned by the producers, writers, actors, cameramen, musicians ... but not by you.. sorry to say ...

  • Burning downloaded itunes videos to DVD - How do I do this?

I have downloaded over $50 worth of video film clips so I could make my own dvd. I assume that paying $3.69 for them entitles you to burn them to dvd as we do songs to cd @ $1.30/song. I have tried burning to a dvd with no luck. How do I do this?

Unfortunately that doesn't work. It's part of the deal between the iTMS and the right holders that prevents purchased videos from burning to DVD (except from burning to Data CD/DVD for backup).
The Music Store Terms of Service state (chapter 9):
"You shall be entitled to export, burn (if applicable) or copy Products solely for personal, noncommercial use. You shall not be entitled to burn Video Products."
I must admit, I hardly read those 'fine print' articles, but it's all written down.
    Sorry for that.

  • TS1717 i recently downloaded two tracks from itunes: they will not play in my windows media center even though i have added them to that location. any idea what other trouble shooting i can attempt on this issue??

i recently downloaded two tracks from itunes and they will not play in my windows media center. i have never had this problem but the two tracks play on my PC just not in the windows media center and usually all my itunes music plays in there no problem??? any idea what to do? thanks

I'm searching for an answer to almost the same exact problem, using almost the same exact hardware and software. Has an answer been found?
The files that I'm trying to burn come from eMusic, and they are formatted mp3. Recently, (after the iTunes update to 9.2.3?,) they would not drag and drop from iTunes into Toast. From several different discussions I've tried working around this by dragging to the desktop first then dragging and dropping to Toast, going to Toast from a programmer's homemade help window, " iToons," and today, after talking with Apple support, going directly to Toast from my eMusic folder. Alas, all recordings do not perform like they use to. Sometimes they play and sometimes not. There is one I managed, that is listenable, but sometimes I have to put it in my car stereo over and over again as it gets ejected with an error code, sometimes, finally it takes it... Some of the recordings on other disks I've burned are not clean - they have white-noise sounds creeping in... I use to have none of these problems. One time as I was listening to a CD that managed to play, and it just stopped playing... Is there an answer out there to get back to how it use to be? Thanks for you help.

  • Hi, I am having trouble getting an album to download. I have tried it on both my iPhone and laptop through iTunes but neither works. I am wondering if it could be the size of the album stopping it downloading (212 Tracks) Any Ideas?

Hi, I am having trouble getting an album to download. I have tried it on both my iPhone and laptop through iTunes but neither works. I am wondering if it could be the size of the album stopping it downloading (212 Tracks) Any Ideas?

These alerts occur due to timeouts or conflicts trying to write a file during download.
If you encounter this issue while while downloading something from the iTunes Store:
Delete your iTunes Downloads folder, located in:
    Mac OS X:
~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Downloads   Note: "iTunes Media" may appear as "iTunes Music. Also, the tilde (~)  refers to your Home directory.
After locating your iTunes Downloads folder:
    Quit iTunes.
Delete the Downloads folder on your computer.
    Open iTunes.
Choose Store > Check for Available Downloads.
Enter your account name and password.
Also review this support aticle as it might be causing due to internet connection: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1368
    Hope this helps.

  • Can anyone help me with a problem i am having with my music on my iPhone 4S. I have put alot of Compilation CDs in my library on iTunes. I download these tracks onto my phone, everything is ok so far. Now, this is what is niggling me and I don.t know how

Can anyone help me with a problem i am having with my music on my iPhone 4S. I have put alot of Compilation CDs in my library on iTunes. I download these tracks onto my phone, everything is ok so far. Now, this is what is niggling me and I don.t know how to resolve it. This is my problem:
Have downloaded for example: Queen – Bohemium Rhapsody from a compilation album as well as a few complete Queen Album CDs into the iTunes library and then put them into playlists,
When I go onto my phone and select Queen on the MUSIC app using Songs tab at the bottom of the screen it will display all Queen songs and their resective Alum pics, that is all those not in a complilation album, .
If I know the song title I can select the songs tab and find the song that way,
I’ve tried fiddling with the settings in the iTunes app by going to ‘get info’ tab and trying to sort the problem out that way but am not having much luck. What I want the phone to do is show, for example all Queens songs including those in compilation albums. Can this be done, would be grateful for any ideas on how it can be done, that is if ic can be done, any ideas
    Thanks for your help

Try assigning Queen as the Album Artist on the compilations in iTunes on your computer.

    Hello again, Stew.
Also when I open itunes it gives me a warning and says "The registry settings used by the itunes drivers for importingand burning cd's and dvds are missing. Please reinstall itunes."
With that one let's first try a reboot and repair.
Reboot the PC (very important), and the do a *repair install* of iTunes.
Go to your "Add or Remove Programs" control panel, select iTunes, click "Change" and then click "Repair".
Does iTunes launch without the error message now?
If no luck there, try checking for a device filter conflict in your registry:

If the computer's running Mac OS X, move the cursor to the very top of the computer's screen, click on Store, and choose Authorize this Computer.
If the computer's running Windows, press the Alt and S keys and choose Authorize this Computer, or click here, follow the instructions, click on Store in the menu bar, and choose Authorize this Computer.

If for some reason you failed to maintain a backup copy of your computer ( not good), then you can redownlaod some itunes content in some countries:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

  • HT201413 when i installed itunes in my old computer it would disable my CD burner and I was only able to burn through itunes. has this problem been resloved or will i have the same problem when i download it into my new computer?

When I installed itunes into my old computer (loaded with Windows Vista) it deleated my CD burner and would only allow me to burn via itunes - I had to go in to Best Buy to have them fis the problem but was told not to download new updates for itunes or it would do the same. with this fix I am not able to burn CDs from itunes which is a bummer.  If I download itunes onto my new  computer (loaded with Windows 7) is it going to do the same thing or has  this problem been resolved?

Copy them from your old computer, or your backuo copy of your old computer. to your new one.
The music sync is one way - computer to ipod.  the exception is itunes purchases.

Some of my downloaded album tracks have been stored in my iTunes library in separate places, how do I compile them together to form a complete album?

Generally all you need to do is fill in an appropriate Album Artist. For more details see my article on Grouping Tracks Into Albums, in particular the topic One album, too many covers.

When you download iTunes material, does iTunes record the IP used where it is being downloaded to?  I am trying to track a lost/missing IPOD Touch and want to know if they have that data.   It was left on a small street and someone has found it and has been hacking into my account by resetting my password.  They took about 41+ dollars from my account.   I am hoping the IP it was connecting with to download to it was tracked and that I can get that information to figure out where it is located.

No. From the second link below.

  • Why will my downloaded ITUNES play only on my computer, not on burned CD's?

When I burn my ITUNES songs to CD's and then try to play them in my truck, they won't play. In fact, it appears my truck CD player doesn't even recognize that there are songs on the disc. It plays "store bought" CD's just fine, and my computer plays the CD's that I burned just fine.
I am not very technologically savvy but it is frustrating to spend twenty bucks on downloading songs from ITUNES only to not be able to play them on my truck's CD player! In fact, it's almost a pointless exercise, given that I spend so much time on the road.
    Any ideas?
P.S. Oh yeah, my truck has a roughly 2 year old Sony AM FM CD player, if that's any help. It is supposed to be able to play music files, according to the literature that came with it.

Open iTunes. From the iTunes menu (top left of the screen) select Preferences->Advanced->Burning and make sure the Disc Format is set to Audio CD. To play your CD's in your truck's player you must have the format set to Audio CD before burning. It may have somehow gotten changed. Some of the newer players can also play mp3's. Check your truck manual.
