Burning Error after processs complete

after DVD burning process completes, I recieve an Error message (i meant to write it down). I've tried making more room on my HD (7GB). The project is on an external drive.
I've been burning projects since i purchased my comp 3 years ago and have overcome previous issues. Any suggestions?

Hello k,
a general rcommendation is to create a disk image in iDVD rather than burning directly. This creates an .img file on your HDD, that can be stored for future use and gives you the option to preview your DVD on your Mac before burning to disc.
The img file can then be burned to disc with Disk Utility or Toast, giving you the possibility to control the burn speed - a crucial factor in DVD burning.
Burn speed should not exceed 4x (better 2x). Use high quality DVD-R media. Verbatim is the media of choice on this board.
Also: iDVD likes to have the project(s) on your startup disc with 15 - 20 GB of available disc space

Burn Error AFTER running ONYX

Last week I had a problem when I tried to burn a DVD. I am in iDVD 4.0.1. I keep getting the message:
“The Recording Device reported the error #8: No Additional Sense Information. (0X00, 0X00).
I ran that ONYX program and I was able to burn my DVD.
I had the same problem this weekend. However, after I ran ONYX I still wasn’t able to burn my disk.
I think I am going to try it one more time but I am wondering if maybe I should reinstall iDVD 4 on my system?
I am on an eMac from 2002. I am an in QuickTime 6.5.2..

Hello,
I don't know the name of the media but I have been using it for well over a year with no problems.
Also, and this is has only been within the most recent part of the last year, DVDs I burn I can't play in my player. It plays regular DVD movies but not DVD-Rs. I have been able to play the discs on other players just not my own computer.

App world always gives error after 1 complete sync

earlier i have used the app world plugin and all was well.
now since last week im facing this problem: (phone is storm 9530, and i have upgraded the OS to 5.0 just last week)
whn compluter starts, and i start google chrome, then goto appworld website, then download (SYNC) any app, all goes succesfully.
then whn i try the 2nd download (sync) .. the error comes
"SYNC ISSUE: There is an issue connecting to BlackBerry World. Please try again"
i have checked in hte cellphone, the first app is working perfect.
later if i try syn agian and again at appworld website, the first SYNC is even impossible and has same error.
If i resrtart the computer, then all goes well , juz like i stated earlier, but only for 1st sync.
plz provide a solution

furthermore ... if i try restarting the google chrome, or even through the internet explorer ... cannot even open the appworld website... it juz goes blank with both the chrome and IE.

Please see the log file.If it says password expired .Please change the password for the schema user of J2ee database.In my case the user is sapdbqx1 and after resetiing the apssword it worked fine.
Also onetime for annother system in XI Landscpe I had same issue.
Solution: The listener file should have both logical hostname as well as physical host name entry.Then its worked.

Just off the top of my head ... as a general approach ... something like

while (some condition checking that all three procs are still running ... maybe a ps -ef |grep )

But, we'd really need to know what it is you are really trying to accomplish, instead of your pre-conceived solution.

WCS error COMMON-1 after login completed

Just a heads up to anyone else that might do this... it took about 5 to 10 minutes for the 'StopWCS' process to complete.
We run Version 7.0.172.0 on a Windows Server 2003 VM.
We initially tried restarting the service from Windows Services (services.msc) - made no difference - had to run the stopWCS and startWCS programs in the installation folder.
NOTE: after launching the exe from the program files\WCSxxx\bin\ folder - it took a few moments and a Java console window appeared. It then spewed out the following over the space of 5 to 10 minutes...
"Stopping Health Monitor...
Waiting for shutdown to complete.
Health Monitor successfully shutdown.
Stopping WCS server
WCS server successfully shutdown.
Waiting for shutdown to complete.
Shutting down database server ...

The startup process was much quicker... taking no more than 5 minutes if that.
Again, after launching the exe from windows explorer - it took a little while for the java window to appear - it then quite quickly (compared with shutdown) produced the following output.

Starting Apache server ...
Apache server is running.
WCS started successfully."
And yeah - it resolved the issue for us too - many thanks.

Just to confirm on the screen of the iPhone do you see the itunes symbol with a cable pointing up to it?. If you do then your iPhone is inrecovery mode and would require you to restore it.
Now first you want to make sure iTunes is up to date and the cable you are using is not damaged. You also want to make sure iTunes is up to date.

ITunes 7.3.1 (3) - odd burn issues after update

I'm using the latest version of iTunes running OS X 10.4.9
When I try to burn a disc, I get the following error...
The attempt to burn a disc failed. The device failed to calibrate the laser power level for this media.
Before I upgraded, I could burn. And now, no burn.
I tried the suggestion of moving the following file to the desktop after you completely close iTunes. Worked for a few people, not for me though.
Open HD - User - Library - Preferences - com.apple.iTunes.plist
So - I need some advice from you all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

DVD Burning Error within DVD Studio Pro

Tonight I tried to burn a DVD Studio Pro project to a DVD. Up until now it has been smooth sailing. Tonight when I went to burn my completed project, it began formatting and then I received a Unknown Device Error after the DVD drive worked for about 2 minutes. If anyone has any ideas or if you think I need a new drive please let me know. The drive information is below:

I am trying to rebuild text in a photo. I clicked the type tool, clicked on the background layer (knowing a new one should form) and got this error:
Could not complete your request because of a program error.
Then I made a new blank layer, clicked on it and got the same error.
I quit, relaunched started typing the new layer without a hitch. But when I selected to change the font (to any font), I got the same error
I switched to Firefox to search for the problem and went back to PSCS5. Now I can change the font! After switching applications and clicking on the type layer, I get the error again! Then it's fixed. Then it comes back.
Anyone have this problem or a solution?

Most likely you have a corrupt font which is causing problems for some of the type/font code.
Try validating your fonts with FontBook as a first step.

Hi Kartik,
Could you please be more clearer as to how do you want me to proceed so that this syntax error stops bothering me while creating a standard order thru TCode VA01.Also what do you mean by "well comment the code in the include and activate the include"
I created a projet in CMOD and than added the enhancement V45A0002.The components shown as EXIT_SAPMV45A_002(Predefined sold to party when making the standard order),i double click on the exit and entered into the function module.After that i double clicked on the include ZXVVZU04 and entered in and wrote E_KUNNR=100171
While activating i got error msg 'The last statement is not complete (period missing)." & i have saved inspite the error .After that i tried to create a order and program terminated error came after entering sold to party no. in sales order
so now i have deactivated the project which i created in CMOD & deleted the project also inspite of this i am getting the program terminated error while making the order
I would be great ful if somebody helps me *** out of this syntax error.

Internal Server Error after implemeting a Merged Appl_top

Hi folks,
I have been plagued by an issue since a long time. I'm implementing a merged appltop on sun solaris (5.10) on 11.5.10.2
Basically its a clone of two nodes into a single node. After merging, the services are coming up good. Apache is running well. But when opening the AppsLogin page, it is blowing up saying Internal Server Error.
When looked into the mod_jserv.log, it shows the below error.

Have you completed all the steps in (Cloning Oracle Applications Release 11i with Rapid Clone [ID 230672.1] -- Reducing the number of Nodes of a Multi-Node System (merge APPL_TOP)) and (Sharing the Application Tier File System in Oracle Applications Release 11i [ID 233428.1] -- Section 4: Merging existing APPL_TOPs into a single APPL_TOP) with no errors?
Can you find any errors in the database log file?
Was AutoConfig completed successfully?
Please clear the server cache as per (How To Clear Server Cache and Bounce Apache (Web Server)? [ID 295484.1]) and check then.
