Burning error even though i've upgraded to latest version of iTunes???
Help, every time I attempt to burn a CD from a playlist it burns two songs then takes a while and bombs out of the burn....
I've run a diagnostic but it mean nothing to me.... can anyone help please, this is driving me banana's!!!!

hmmmm. let's first check to see if you've got Dell's latest firmware for that TEAC.
here's the Dell downloads page for your Dimension 8300 (the same firmware downloads appear to be compatible with the 8300Ns). Dell keeps firmware updates in the "Removable Media Storage Devices" sections on these pages.

to determine if the firmware listed there for the TEAC DV-W58E is more recent than the stuff on your PC at the moment, click on the "Drivers and downloads help" link to the right of the downloads page. click the "I'm Not Sure What Downloads I Need" link. if you're still having some difficulty, try clicking the "Choosing a device" section.

I am getting an R6034 error when I attempt to download the latest version of iTunes. What does this mean?
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

After upgrading to latest version of iTunes audio CD burning issues

I upgraded to the latest version of iTunes and now when I try to burn a playlist as an audio CD it keeps telling me it won't fit on one CD and I have now gotten the playlist down to 1 hour and it is an 80 Min CD and it still won't let me do it. Anyone else having an issue and if so is there a solution?

MikeI've seen this once before and deleting the playlist and recreating it with a different name solved it.
Also... try using disk utility to burn a data CD to make sure that burning generally works. Daft I know, but there you go. -
Error Upgrading to Latest Version of iTunes.
When I tried to upgrade to the latest version of iTunes, after around 30 minutes of installing it came up with this error:
*The cabinet file iTunes.cab required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used.*
*This could indicate a network error, and error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package*
There were two options accompanying this message: 'Retry' and 'Cancel'.
I selected retry at first, but the message kept coming up.
So in the end I canceled the whole installation.
How can I fix this problem?

but the area in the iTunes diagnostics that usually shows up model information:

... wasn't saying which model of ShuttleX you had. (that looks more like info about your make of motherboard.)

... There's been a bunch of unusual error message codes in the 2300-range reported here lately. According to Microsoft, that's a "Copy resumed with different info":

That usually indicates that your Apple Mobile Device Support has not installed. That's also what is being shown by the diagnostics (the driver is there but the application isn't).
Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)

I'm being told I need to download Flash player even though I have installed the latest version
I'm using a Mac with Mac OS X, Version 10.7.5, with Safari 6.0.2 as my browser. I haven't had any problems with Flash player until today. Now suddenly, when I try to view Flash content, it tells me I need to download/install the latest version of Flash Player. However, I have installed it multiple times. I even uninstalled it and re-installed it, re-started my computer, etc, and it still won't work. What else can I try??
Does this happen with all Flash content? Do you see the animation and version info when you go to this page?

Remove all of these items in the following order:

Apple Software Update

Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Which version of iPhoto did you upgrade from?
