Burning in iTunes and nothing happens
I looked for other posts of this nature and didn't find them. So here is my question. Recently I have been unable to burn discs in iTunes. I can however burn them elsewhere. It says that it is writing the disc and then nothing happens. The progress bar doesn't budge. No error messages, nothing. The disc doesn't even sound like it is spinning. It will just do this forever until I cancel it and then I have to force quit to get iTunes to stop canceling it. The disc will then say that it contains the playlist, but only has screeching static on it.
I'm using Verbatim discs which have always worked for us.
I'm using iTunes 7.3. I actually looked for the update after it happened the first time, hoping it would fix the problem, it didn't. Many discs later, here I am. . .

Right click on one of the files and select Open with>Choose Porgram.
Select the program you want and make sure "Always use selected program..." is checked.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Win 32 and win 64 bit, tried to download itunes and nothing happens
I am massively frustrated. I have tried to download the new version of iTunes about 20 times. When I download 32 bit ( I have win7) it says I need to download the 64 bit! When I download the 64 bit, it says it not compatible. I have completely uninstalled the previous versions as per your support pages and removed temp files. Now I have no iTunes, I cannot download it and I have a new iPod shuffle which I cannot use. When I had iTunes 9, it could not find it anyway.
So what the HECK will I do now? Nothing works and whenever I try to download iTunes, it crashes half way anyway.I use mobile broadband, that I get credit of data per month. It connects through a dongle with a mobile phone SIM card.
Ahhhhhh ... you might be getting "the Australian problem". Downloads do seem to get damaged reasonably often going through those (and for some as-yet-unknown-reason, it seems to be unusually common in Australia by comparison with other countries).
Okay ... generally if we can get an undamaged installer onto the PC, it will install okay. So, try downloading an installer on a different PC. Copy it to a memory stick, flash drive, thumb drive or other external hard drive (or perhaps even burn it to a CD-R). Carry it back to your PC, copy it to your hard drive and doubleclick the installer to start the install.

why cant i download itunes on my windows 7 pc? i used to have itunes on my pc once but it was not uploded for a while and got deleted...and now i have tried to download it and all i got was "thanks for download itunes"...after that i have tired to dwnload it from another web browser and ive got the same thing.....!!
Perhaps try downloading and saving a copy of the installer to a different PC. (If you're on a 32-bit Windows system, try to download on a different 32-bit Windows system.) Copy the iTunesSetup.exe installer to an external hard-drive, or a large-enough thumb drive or burn it to a CD-R. Carry the installer back to your PC, copy the installer to your hard drive. (Don't run the install from the ExHD, thumb or CD-R.) Start the install by doubleclicking the iTunesSetup.exe file.

I also tried to use it with an epub book and the same issue. It shows both books under "books" in itunes but I can't open either one. Neither shows up within ibooks on my ipod touch 4th gen. Thanks for help.

On your iPod tap Settings > Store

I keep getting a pop up on my iophone 5 that says "connect to itunes to use push notifications" I've connected to itunes and nothing happens. I cant use the phone as I can;t get the pop up to stop
So after exhausting countless hours I just added the App "Google Search". It's not as great of an interface but I can access Google Voice and keep tabs by just checking in every so often. Better than not having Google Voice at all.

I just got the new itunes and I can open itunes and see my music but whenI try and go to the itunes store it just loads to a white page. I try and refresh and go to the home page and nothing happens. I can sign into my account and the tabs for the itunes store pop up like they normally would when browsing the itunes store but when I click on one of them, it is a blank page. Is there a setting I need to change? Does it just take an extremely long time to load? Please help!!
