My label is printing out of burning order when i have go to print after the cd has burnt. I can print it in order in the burning playlist but it throws it into alphabetical list in completion of disc does anyone know how to fix this and where i go to to do this

I can't believe how many people are having the same problem.

As well as it freezing on me then I have to force quit and start again.

  • Burn List Missing in Creative Media Sou

I reinstalled my OS and SoundBlaster Audigy 2 Patinum with the latest updates. I saved my burn list that I used for my previous installation on another partition and now I can not get CMS to recognize it. I know it's there I can view the folder and contents but CMS will not open it when I try to open the burn list with it. I know that before I reinstalled only CMS 3.30.2 would open it so I have both versions installed now 5.0.38 and 3.30.2. Neither will open the burn list. Anyone have an idea how to get CMS to open the burn list. Everything is up to date. The extensions for the files in the burn list folder are .EBL or .MDB.

Jeez the response is overwhelming. So anyway I created a new burn list and found the directory that the file was saved, in. C:/documents and settings/user/applications/creative/burn cd. So I copied the files from my saved burn list to it and when I opened CMS I was able to get all of the burn list titles to be displayed in the burn list title box. But when I selected a title from the list none of the tracks included with the list would be displayed only the title of the list. Any ideas, anyone?

  • *.mp3 has already been added to the Burn List. It will not be added again. (In Creative MediaSour

Hi everyone, I keep getting the error message: *.mp3 (mp3 filename) has already been added to the Burn List. It will not be added again. I know I can "Allow duplicate tracks" in Tools - Settings - Burn CDs, but it will not work with MP3s. Trouble is, I have MP3s of the same name with different artists that I want to burn to an MP3 CD. Is there any way around this in Creative MediaSource without having to edit anything? I really want to use one program to arrange and burn CDs/MP3s. Other than this error message I have been happy with Creative MediaSource. Thanks!

Thanks! I thought it was a fault with just this program, but it does the same with Nero. What I did was change the way the filename was saved. Instead of just the song title, I did artist and song title.
Thanks again for the reply, much appreciated!

  • Can my iMac burn Lightscribe labels

Can my iMac burn Lightscribe labels on the lightscribe dvds ????

With appropriate software, yes, presuming of course you have a Lightscribe drive. The vendor of your drive should have provided software, but if not,. Lightscribe has it here:
    http://www.lightscribe.com/downloadSection/mac/index.aspx
though I don't know if it's compatible with Lion.

  • Burning CD Labels from ITunes to LightScribe Label

Evidently one can't print CD Labels directlty to a LightScribe Labeler
Anyone have a CD Labeler Software to recommend that will do the job. I'd like to burn the ITunes generated artwork and song lists LightScribe CD's but don't know how.
Gateway GM5420     LP Lightscribe CD Burner

I appricate you response but i have been trying different things for days prior to my post and updating itunes to the latest version and using 2.4 was one of them and i'm sorry to report this didn't help. The files that were encode with itunes that do allow songs to show up on the 360 were using tag ver. 2.3 so i didn't expect this to help.
iTunes is doing something to the files that it encodes. However if i burn the non iIunes encoded MP3's to CD-R and then let iTunes rencode the files back to MP3 again it still doesn't work. Seems as though there is something missing in these non iTunes encoded files that rencoding will not correct. This is what needs to be solved so i manully add this inorder for these files to works as the iTunes encode files.
    Thanks

As I recall, Lightroom sees only the most recently active PSE catalog. So if you go into PSE 11 and switch to Catalog 2 or Catalog 1, close PSE 11 and then open up Lightroom 5, it should be able to convert another of your PSE 11 catalogs. Repeat for the third catalog.
Which sounds to me like a great reason to use only one catalog ...

  • Mailling list label program for 10.7.2?

I used to use MAIL LIST and while not elegant certainly did the trick for maintaining and editing a database of of approximately. 125 holiday card labels.  Unfortunately it does not like Lion so that is now useless
Can Address Book maintain such a database/group that will easily print to an Avery template?  OR - can someone recommend a good program that will maintain a database of labels?

    See: Printing mailing labels
There is and it’s an application you’re likely very familiar with: Address Book. Though it’s not a highly visible feature, Address Book supports label printing. You print labels this way:
    1. Create a group in Address Book with an appropriate name—My Holiday Labels, for example—and move into it those addresses for which you’d like labels.
    2. Choose File -> Print.
    3. In the sheet that appears, choose Mailing Labels from the Style pop-up menu.
    4. Click the Layout button and from the Page pop-up menu below, choose the kind of label you intend to use—Avery Standard, for instance.
    5. From the pop-up menu to the right, choose the specific label “model” you’ll use—5161, for example.
    6. Click Print and you’re done.

  • Can't get rid of old iomega burner from iTunes burner list

Hi there. I'm running itunes on 10.3.9 on a CRT iMac.
I used to have a USB iomega cd burner, but now have a Formac Divideon Firewire DVD burner.
iTunes seems to think the iomega is still plugged in, although it's not, and won't show up my formac burner in the preferences.
So, I deleted itunes, tried to re-install it, and now the installer says it's already installed, so won't install it again!
    Any advice anyone?!

    PLEASE SOME ONE!
This is driving me nuts. How do I make iTunes forget about the burner that is no longer there?
There must be some way of resetting the ports or something.
I have re-installed iTunes and it is still mistaking my new burner for an old one, thereby preventing me from burning anything. I have run disk permission repairs, hard plugged the new burner in both firewire slots and deleted anything to do with iomega.
    What to do??

  • Creating CD label after burning

I've burned a few CDs for friends from my Itunes library and would like to create a label. It appears Itunes will let me pring a jewel case label but has no cd label option. All tracks names and artist are listed in itunes, however when opening up a 3rd party label creator, the track names and artist are not recognized and I have to manually type in the names before I can create the label. • After burning a audio CD, the Create LightScribe Label window does not show

I found burning a LightScribe label after burning with iTunes directions. It says that iTunes works with Sonic Express Labeler. After burning the CD, a Create LightScribe Label window is supposed to appear. It does not. Why? Help!!
    HP Pavilion a1220n   Windows XP
    HP Pavilion a1220n   Windows XP

No one answered his question. On HP it says:
Creating a LightScribe label with iTunes
iTunes works with Sonic Express Labeler to conveniently burn labels on a data CD or audio CD from iTunes. The playlist you create in iTunes to burn a disc is automatically imported into Express Labeler so that this information is available for you to use on your LightScribe label.
NOTE: To use Express Labeler from iTunes, the data or music tracks in the playlist your are using must fit on a single CD.
Click Start, All Programs, iTunes, and then click iTunes again.
Burn a data or audio CD with iTunes. When the burning process is complete, click Yes on the Create LightScribe Label window.
Make sure that Disc Label is selected in Step 1: Select Project.
Select a label template by clicking the left or right arrows next to Layout and choosing a layout.
NOTE: The various layouts show different amounts of playlist information. Some show only the playlist title, others show the playlist title and track names. You can edit the playlist information by clicking Disc Title to open the Edit Disc Title window.
Click Tracks to display the Edit Tracks window. Click New to display the Track window. Enter text to identify the first track or file (you can optionally enter artist and date, or length), and then click OK.
Repeat step 5 for each track or file on the disc.
Click the left or right arrows next to Background to select design elements for the disc. The selections you make are previewed in the disc window.
NOTE: If you use a color image, LightScribe burns it as a greyscale (monochrome) image.
When you are satisfied with the appearance of your label design, insert the LightScribe disc (label-side down) into the disc drive tray and then click Print.
From the Disc Label menu, select LightScribe 12cm Disc.
Select a Contrast Level and then click OK to begin burning the label. The estimated time to complete the label is displayed, along with a progress bar. You can continue to work on your PC while LightScribe is burning the label.
NOTE: A sudden bump or vibration of the computer during the labeling process may affect the quality of the label.
His question is why this does not happen. What version of iTunes are you using? Is an upgrade to the newest version needed? I woul dlik eto hear form others who use lightscribe with itunes and how they do it.

  • Lacie D2 Lightscribe won't burn high quality labels

I just bought the Lacie D2 lightscribe drive. I had to update the Lightscribe Labeler software to version 1.1 to burn a label on the disc. I attempted to print a high quality image but the software said it couldn't without updating, however it gave me the option to burn a generic lower quality label which worked. Is there another update I should know about or should I buy a different program like Disclabel which supports Lightscribe for mac?

I suggest you have a look around here and contact support at Lacie on this page for a problem.

  • Label Flash or light scribe Drive

I have had a Satellite L750 custom for a few months. I have been recently trying  to burn a label with the Label Flash feature. The Corel Label@once software that came loaded in the computer doesn't give me the option to burn the label once I have created the label. In researching the CD/DVD drive that was installed in the laptop I saw online that the light scribe burner should have an extra sensor in it to detect the lightscribe disk. I don't see that on my drive. The properties in my DVD burner have it listed as Model #: TSSTcorp CDDVDW SN-208AF    My question is: Is this drive capable of burning labels on CDs & DVDs?

  • DVD Burn problem. "Device error - the target device isn't suitable for use"

    Hello everyone,
I initially had a lot of problems with PE8. However the nVidia driver update solved most of them.
Just thought it was important to report success as well as failure!
However one problem remains. I get the following error at the 96% mark while burning. "Device error - the target device isn't suitable for use". It is always at the 96% mark and the program is "compiling [something]" when this happens.
Having searched this site I notice that user rgferg posted a similar problem 13 days ago but was redirected to repost in a different place, but never did.
I have tried to burn a 1hr clip 4 times and every time I have selected the slower burn speed (8MB/s) as has been suggested. It seems that inferior media is a culprit, so I have bought some [quality] Verbatim DVD-R media to try in my Phillips SATA optical drive. I am sceptical this will work, but open minded nonetheless. I will give it a whirl when my computer has stopped capturing the VHS I am working on.
Each time the burn failed the disk was automatically ejected and the burn process had actually started and progressed perhaps ~40% or so.
This indicates to me that it is a drive sharing issue, rather than a media issue. Somewhere on this forum it suggests that I go through a 20+ step process and delete/disable every piece of software that can compete with Premiere among other things. IF I do this what do I burn with outside of Adobe? Do I have to get imgburn or whatever it was called? What if I like Nero? Nero 6 has worked great for me for 3 years.
So given I am willing to uninstall my old optical drive burning software, who out there can recommened commercial software that for them creates a painless Adobe burning experience with no errors or conflicts? Perhaps there is another solution that I did not see on this forum?
I am running Windows XP SP3. I have the latest nVidia drivers for my SLI GeForce 7600 GS cards. I have 3 monitors. RAID 0 SATA, 2GB RAM, Athlon X2 5400.
    Justin.

OK been working through the list of 20 things Adobe recommends to fix DVD burn error. No luck yet:
    system meets minimum requirements
Project size does not exceed disk capacity
successfully burned project to DVD folder -thus skip to step 8.
      8.   Using new blank media for burning
      9.   Try different media and DVD burners. Bought Verbatim DVD-R. Don't have another DVD burner. Adobe's supported burner list is VERY short, so of course mine is not on it.
      10.  Uninstalled Nero 6. Did NOT uninstall Acronis True Image workstation or Lightscribe. These do not access the drive unless I say so!
      11.  Have not yet disabled startup items and services. This will take a lot of work and will leave to last. Deactivated Spybot thus far.....
      12.  Disabled IMAPI CD burning COM
      13.  DMA if available already set. Haven't set this in BIOS yet. I already think it is, but will check next boot.
      14.  Updated DVD firmware
      15.  Already updated nVidia drivers
      16.  Don't have any other DVD drives to disconnect.
      17.  MPEG workaround. Will resort to if required.
      18.  Disable Autoplay? XP only has "prompt me each time to choose an action". I have set this for ALL file types.
      19.  Have NOT refreshed the DVD drivers in the registry. This step involves uninstalling PE8. Will leave this as last resort.
      20.  Visit forums to see if other have the same problem. Hi guys
So still working through some of the items above.
Can anyone direct me to advice on how to write the encoded files sent to the hard drive, or the VOB files that PE8 failed to burn to a disk? Will the former work with DVD menus?
    What a process.
    Stay tuned.
    Justin.
