Burning multiple play lists on Itunes

How do I burn multiple play lists on a CD-R or CD-RW using Itunes?
So say when I finish burning my CD will have 2 separate folders or Play lists of music thus braking down my music into folders.

If you want to burn a data CD with two folders of audio files, just do it in the Finder.

If you can't the song file is probably corrupt and needs to be replaced.

When I try to burn a play list to a CD some of the songs are grayed out and then not burned to the disc. How can I fix this problem?

ITunes 11.1 and / or the Podcast app on iOS 7 will not allow me to create play lists in iTunes. Is there an app that will allow me to create podcast plays lists and play them on the iPhone running iOS7 ?

iOS 7 will not alow podcasts lists in the music app so we have to use the podcast app
but iTunes 11.1 and / or the Podcast app on iOS 7 will not show podcast play lists created in iTunes (well maybe it does but clicking on the podcasts app causes iTunes to freeze so can not select)
sometime some folders created in iTunes have appeared with the Podcast app but others not.
creating an on the go list in my iphone is agony - I have over 100 podcasts I have subscribed to and when creating a list you can not view by most recently downloadded podcast
AND you can't search (no search bar) so I have to scroll through to find a podcast that might have been updated - but they are not in any logocal order that I can work out (not alphbetical or date added).

Agree about the disaster part. I haven't found a fix within iTunes.
I gave up and switched to downcast 2 days ago. Even though it was a hassle to re-subscribe to all my podcasts, im so much happier.
To make switching easier, I found that in iTunes you can "get info" on the podcast and copy the RSS address to the clipboard. Put all of these in a message note. When iCloud syncs the note to your phone, you can copy and paste the urls into downcast one at a time to subscribe.
Downcast has crashed on me occassionally when I'm subscribing to feeds, but so far it has recovered gracefully each time and no data was lost.

How do you add play list from itunes to ipod on windows 8.1

I would like to create a new play list on my I pod nano Generation 4. I have the the music in my I TUNES library as files and as a playlist . How do I get this to my I pod.

Burning a play list to a dvd,

I use the shuffle option to play music on my I POD. Included is my christmas music. Can i create a dvd from I tunes of my Christmas play list & then delete that list from I tunes so it will no longer be on the I Pod?
Can I then next Christmas import the dvd back to i tunes?

If you want to use the unchecking method above you'll need to reflect that setting on the iPod for it to work. To stop unchecked songs being loaded you have to choose "sync only checked songs and videos" in the iPod Summary tab, unchecking the song in iTunes isn't enough. This remove the Christmas songs from your iPod so they won't appear when you use shuffle, Check the songs when you want them to go back onto the iPod and sync iTunes.

dell computer a dell latitude d 830, then after installing all of my software and such including itunes the player did well even record to disks with no problems now that my system has done alot of updating of system files....now the itunes does not burn to my cd...error message 2131 this time ..this has occurred several times on this sytem and and as well as other system this one has window vista 64 bit home prem. why is the itunes not working to burn my disks

The 2131 usually indicates firmware needs to be updated on a drive.
Head to your drivers and downloads page for your latitude at Dell, and check for updates to your firmware for your optical drives. If you're behind and you update, does that clear up the 2131?

I have burned about 4 disks with no problem from my playlist. Now after iTunes initializes, I get a response that burning will stop. When stopped I get the banner stating "attempt to burn failed" Unknown error (4200)

I presume you are using the internal optical drive that shipped from the factory with your PowerBook G4.
1. You wrote: "I am trying to clean up some space on my powerbook G4 (not that I need to) but I like to keep things tidy."Be careful not to "tidy up" anything outside of your Home folder or the Macintosh HD > Users > Shared folder. Your Home > Library folder is another folder that should not be altered unnecessarily.
"Tidying" System files can render your Mac inoperable unless you either:
• Have a deep understanding of Mac OS X and the files in question.
• Are instructed to remove such a file by someone with such understanding.
2. You wrote: "Error Code 0x80020000)"This is an "Internal Disc Recording" error.
You may have selected too high a speed for the optical media or the optical drive, have bad media, or be using optical media that your optical drive cannot see correctly. Some new, high-speed media use dyes that are problematic with older Mac optical drives. See Macintosh: Factors That Affect Writing to or Reading From Optical Media. If you've not used this brand of media before, try a brand and speed of media that has worked in the past.

Sounds like you are trying to stream the songs vice having them downloaded to th iPod.
First go to Settings>iTunes and App Store and turn OFF SHOW ALL
If still problem
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync/delete all music and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

Burning to disk from play list

I'm having some trouble burning play list from Itunes to CD. I get the message "insert correct media", however, I am sure the blank disc is fine. I had been able to burn to CD in the past. I dowloaded new version of Itunes without any success. I tried multipule blank discs without success. I increased burning speed, decreased time between songs and double checked driver, which appears to be correct. any suggestions?

How to hide an Express in iTunes Multiple Speakers list

Hi, I'm running a wi-fi and Airtunes network in my Brooklyn Loft that I'm very happy with: 1 Airport Extreme creating the wi-fi network, and 4 different Airport Expresses, each connected to a separate stereo. It all works beautifully, and Airtunes can even be controlled with the iPhone "Remote" app, controlling the playing of iTunes from different MacBook Pros on the network. It's great.
So I bought a 5th Airport Express and set up a WDS network and added that 5th Express as a "remote" station to extend the WDS Network. It's set to WDS Remote. I plugged in the right "channel" and Airport ID for the Extreme base station, and it seems to work great for when we're sitting near it with our iPhones (which is way too far from the base station Airport Extreme for good wi-fi reception).
The problem is, this 5th Airport Express, which I'm using to extend the wi-fi network, shows up in my Multiple Speakers list in iTunes. And when I'm on the iPhone, changing speakers when moving around the loft, if I accidentally tap on the icon for this 5th Airport Express, all *$&#^ seems to break loose. iTunes goes nuts, the speakers list crashes, and I usually have to take the Express offline, completely wipe it, reboot the base station Airport Extreme, completely reconfigure the 5th Airport Express, and after 3 hours of this, hey, I'm just a little tired, if you catch my drift.
So is there a way to HIDE an AE in that Multiple Speakers list in iTunes? I hope so Because I don't think the device will work as both extending the wi-fi network AND being an AirTunes node, and its role in extending the network is creating this small, weird problem for using AirTunes.

Either connect to the AX's wireless network or connect directly, using an Ethernet cable, to the Ethernet port of the AX, and then using the AirPort Utility in "Manual Setup" mode, make the following change:
Music tab
o Enable AirTunes (unchecked)
o Click Update to write the new settings to the AX

Recently played list not updating in when connecting my 1st gen iPod Nano

My Recently played list in iTunes will not show any songs recently played songs in my Nano.
Why? How do I fix that?
I've "repaired" iTunes, and updated my iPod to the lastest version.
