Burning pictures into a CD

When I burn images from my iphoto library into a CD, I don't get full image sizes, but when I transfer the same images using a USB, I get the full size.
How can I fix such thing.

When you use the Share -> Burn command, you're creating a mini- iPhoto Library on the disc. It's designed for archiving parts of an iPhoto Library. So it contains the Thumbnails (in the data folder) as well as the full sized originals.
If you don't want that, drag and drop to a folder on the desktop and use the Finder to burn.

Importing iphoto 09 pictures into imovie 09 with ken burns movement!

Im making a video on imovie 09 using still images i took and imported to iphoto. Then i import those iphoto pictures into imovie, BUT all the pictures have moving "ken burns" crop effects on them after i import them to imovie!!! i know how to fix it, by going to the "crop tool" and "ken burns" adjusting the start and end effect of this movement but my question is....
how do i change this setting so I dont have to tediously use the cropping ken burns tool on every clip which will probably make all the images appear shaky??????

Go to FILE/PROJECT PROPERTIES and you can set the default behavior when importing photos to the project.

Burn pictures to dvd

Trying to Burn Pictures to a DVD. Exported selected photos from Aperture to my Desktop. Inserted blank DVD-RW into disk drive which prompted me to open Disk Utility which I did. When asked to select images to burn from disk utility, I selected the correct folder from my desktop, but the images are all gray scaled out so I cannot select them.
Any suggestions

Click on the desktop so Finder is active. Click File in the menu bar and select New Burn Folder from the drop down list. This creates a folder on the desktop. You can change its name if you wish. Drag and drop the photos to the Burn Folder. Go back to the File menu and select Burn (the name you gave it) to Disc...
Follow the directions on the screen.
The photos are not actually moved to the Burn Folder, they are aliases. So at the end of the burn you just trash the Burn Folder.

Ken Burn pictures look really low quality

Putting high quality pictures into movie and when I ad ken Burns affect they look very low quality as the effect is in process. Do I need to add a lower quality pic? Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

usual advice:
never judge pic quality within iM (lowered preview quality) nor on a computer either.. (iM is for TV delivery.. iM≤6 ... )

Ken Burns pictures won't render

Any picture I've added to my project that I tried to apply a Ken Burns effect to will not render. I'm stumped. What is the problem?

After loading a picture into Photoshop some of the menu tools are greyed out and I cannot use the keyboard short cuts, for instance I cannot use Ctrl + T for free transform, how do I resolve this problem. In addition the tool Icons are so small I have to get close to the screen to see them, is there anyway the Icons can be made bigger without reducing the resolution of the screen.

Are you working on a background layer? If so, Ctrl + T will not work. Press Alt and double-click your background layer to convert to a normal layer (or right-click BG layer and select Layer from Background) and try again.
If you're working in Photoshop CC 2014 you can go to Preferences > Experimental Features and tick "Scale UI 200% for high-density displays" to make your buttons and icons larger.

Can you import more pictures into a photo book that is already in work? I have already spent many hours trying to create a photo album but came across more pictures to choose from. However, I don't know how to get these new pictures into the "list" of potential photos for the book in progress. I can't stand the thought of having to start over by selecting the 2000 photos plus these new ones and starting all over again!?!

I have found more pictures that I want to include. They are, say, in a folder on my desktop. I can't simply pull a picture (or the folder) from the desktop and insert it into the album or the list of potential pictures across the top.
to import into an existing book (which is just a special kind of album) simply drag the photos from their source (the desktop in your example) to the book in the source pane on the left (not to the book in the library window but the book icon in the source pane

I also tried imported the pictures, from the desktop folder, into iphoto, creating new event. I don't think there is a way of accessing that new event from the album in work/progress.

That is correct - there is no connection between the source of the book and the book - the book stands alone and you add direct to it in the source pane exactly as you would add to any other album

I am a new user of Thunderbird, Mozilla's e mail program. When I compose a new email, I sometimes like to add a clipping, from my clipping file. I hit attach and my clippings appear. I highlight the one I want to put in my email, and try to drag it from the clippings list into the email like I did in my former e mail program, but now the dragging does not work, When I am in email, the image will not drop. so my question is, how to get one of my pictures into my email message I am composing? Thunderbird e mail, when opened says windows in the right column But when I go to my ORIGINAL CLIPPINGS SOURCE in another file on this new
computer, from there I can still drag my choice into the current e mail I am
composing. But getting to that original source where my clippings are , takes quite a few steps. Is there any means to shorten the process and be able to drag / or otherwise get a clipping into my email window? Also, once a clipping is selected, where do I indicate that this is the one I want to use????? Thanks for your help.

Why can't I drag and drop my pictures into an order that I want to display them ? The 'manual sort' option does not seem to be 'lit' nor does the 'reset manual sort' what am I doing wrong please.

As to iPhoto, unless you take a few minutes to actually learn how to use it then you will never be happy. Same with any new PC program that you do not understand. Or a new car for that matter

As to your specific issue, trivial. Make an album of the photos and manually drag them to the order you want. Events simply do not work that way
Try to drive your car in Park and you get nowhere because that is not how it works. Any time you use a product incorrectly you will have poor results
