in DVDSP2 we are making a dvd with chapter markers for each chapter button in the menue as the aset we just brought whole movie into dropzone and set a starting point. this our first time trying this with dvdsp and whtn we set it up to burn last night and came pack nerly 14 hours later it was only done 60 encoding what is the problem??? and we need help fast we need the dvd's done by tusday at the latest. please help

your post is interesting, but this description doesnt make any sence to me
if you have set chapter markers in a video track, and linked them to a button on the menu, why are you dropping the same video asset into a drop zone in the menu?
to my thinking, you either use video in a track and link to buttons
or
drag video in a drop zone, not both

HELP!
A couple days ago I had to re-format the computer due to a virus. I didn't save any of the songs that were on iTunes. That night I listened to some songs on my iPod. The next day I plugged it in my computer for it to charge. When it was done charging, I went to listen to some songs but there were NO SONGS ON IT!! I have no clue what happened... has this happened to anyone? Does anyone know how to fix it? Please respond ASAP!

Copying songs from your iPod to your computer
"The iTunes library on your computer holds all the songs you've encoded from your CD collection or purchased from the iTunes Music Store. With default settings, iTunes automatically copies the songs in your library to your iPod. When you use your iPod as a hard disk, you can't see the songs iTunes copies to your iPod in the Finder or My Computer. This is normal. Using the Finder or My Computer, you can't copy these song files from your iPod back to iTunes or to any other computer. The synchronization between your iPod and your computer is always one way: from iTunes to iPod.
If you've erased the music library on your computer, there's no way to use the Finder or My Computer to copy the songs from your iPod to reconstitute the library on your computer. One solution is to encode the songs from your CD collection again, then sync your new library with iPod. If you purchased songs from the iTunes Music Store and didn't back them up, there's no way to download them again. You'll have to buy new copies of the songs."

So even if there were any tracks on your iPod, Apple has set it so you shouldn't be able to get them back.
You need to reload iTunes with music, and then get into the habit of backing them up as well. Once you've done that you can start loading onto the nano.

My ipod touch screen is broken by the slightest in the corner, the metal is exposed to the outside. The screen had worked at usual for a good few months, but now the screen isn't working at all, when i touch it with cold fingers it's unresponsive, even with normal fingers. Does anyone have a diagnoses or a way i can fix this?
If i give apple back this ipod touch, will they give me a new one for a cheaper price? please reply asap!!

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $99 for 16 GB 5G and $149 for the other 5Gs. They do not fix yours.

Credit management related issue - please respond ASAP

I have a credit management related issue,
The requirement is as below:-
If receivables value is zero for a customer and after a sales order is saved and delivery is created, a check should happen to see if the GROSS (Total including VAT) , not Net, value exceeds the credit limit for that customer and the delivery doc should be blocked and then del doc will be released by the credit reps using VKM5.
My client wants the orders to accepted always and delivery notes created but the delivery notes should be blocked from further processing. They are then released by the credit reps using VKM5.
If receivables value is more than zero,then system response is OK.
I understand that Customer's credit limit is the amount entered whichrepresents an upper limit for the total receivables and the foreseeable receivables from the customer.
If the Receivables value is zero, system will not check the credit limt value at all.

Hi Rohit,
1.If you don't want to perform check on sales order stage, then you could leave the credit check as blank for the sales order type.
2.Please leave the field "credit active" as X for the sales order item category. Then even the check itself is not performed, the credit value is updated when saving the order.
3.The credit price is copied from sales order to delivery document. If you would like to configure which value(Total including VAT) should be taken as the credit price, the configuration is done in V/08. Define the line as subtotal=A. Then the amount is taken as credit price.
4.You could create your own routine and assign it to OVA8 no check if you want the credit check not being performed when Receivables value is zero. However from my point of view, it doesn't make so much sense to do that. For example, one big order could expeire the credit limit and make the receivalables with a big amount.

What's going on? I upgraded to Firefox 4.0, but it still looks like I've go ver. 3.6.??? When I start the browser, it takes FOREVER to respond at all. I'm using IE 8 to send this. The previous version worked fine.

Hi there - I'm having similar bold text issues with a customer's instance of Firefox 5.0.1 running on Windows 7, Home Premium, SP1 on a Lenovo laptop. There are two issues to be exact:
# text that is supposed to be normal weight appears bold
# some text has an incorrect amount of spacing (padding/margin) around it
These symptoms appear only on this one machine and appears to be fine in Firefox 5.0.1 across at least 3 other machines running Win 7 as well as all other browsers (IE, Chrome, Safari) we've tested in across a variety of platforms.
I've attached an image with a side-by-side comparison of the normal view next to the broken view as it appears on this specific machine.
I've tried unchecking the hardware acceleration option and restarting Firefox - did not work.
I've also tried running Firefox in Windows XP compatibility mode (as suggested here: http://www.groovypost.com/howto/how-to/repair-the-google-and-gmail-bold-font-issue/) - did not work.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

NEED HELP WITH USING STATIC METHOD - PLEASE RESPOND ASAP!

I am trying to set a value on a class using a static method. I have defined a servlet attribute (let's call it myAttribute) on my webserver. I have a serlvet (let's call it myServlet) that has an init() method. I have modified this init() method to retrieve the attribute value (myAttribute). I need to make this attribute value accessible in another class (let's call it myOtherClass), so my question revolves around not knowing how to set this attribute value on my other class using a static method (let's call it setMyStuff()). I want to be able to make a call to the static method setMyStuff() with the value of my servlet attribute. I dont know enough about static member variables and methods. I need to know what to do in my init() method. I need to know what else I need to do in myServlet and also what all I need in the other class as well. I feel like a lot of my problems revolve around not knowing the proper syntax as well.

Issues with weblogic 7.0 and Java 1.2, Please Respond ASAP

I have servlet program running on weblogic 7.0. The code works fine in development (same config as Production).
But I have problems with the code in production/Test domain. The code runs successfully only for the first time. Subsequent execution of the code results into infinite loop.
Has anyone came across this issue. If so please help

domain. This tells me that the first statement is false - development is NOT the same as production. You need to stop telling yourself that they're the same and figure out what's different.
The code runs successfully only for the first
time and displays the result in the screen. (its
using the if condition checking the boolean value
returned from another methods is true or false.)
Next time, when i run with the same input, it
returns the value from another method and returns
the value to the caller and starts executing from
begining of the caller methods (instead of
displaying result in the screen) and it goes in to
the loop. Could be anything - threading issues, etc. Who knows? You've really provided no details at all. I'm not sure I'd want to see them, either, because this will be a very difficult problem to solve on a forum. You really ought to be talking to your WebLogic support.

When i am trying to load data for year 07 using rule files its showing an error and aborting the data load
Error Msg " Data Value [2007] Encountered before all dimensions Selected,[5] Records Completed"

Key here is that 5 records were loaded before failing on the 6th, indicating it's not a header issue on the load rule.
Check the first 5 records and see how the column containing 2007 differs between them and the failing 6th record. Perhaps the 6th record has a null (as indicated eariler) or prehaps 2007 is not the name of the member in the outline.
I have had both issues give similar error results.

I have an iphone, bought it opening date. Today I'm planning on buying a new iphone for myself at a local apple store. If I swap the sim cards (placing my old activated sim card into the NEW iphone), will I be able to make calls then and there with it?
With my old iphone containing the NEW sim card which came with the newly purchased iphone, can the friend I am giving it to activate his iphone with no problem?

No. You will need to reactivate it in iTunes before you can make calls.

Phones bought in Middle Eastern countries will not have FaceTime on them because it has been banned by the Governments there, so if your phone does not have FaceTime on it and you bought it in the Middle East, then there is absolutely nothing that you can do.
Your phone will never have FaceTime on it and you can never get FaceTime on that phone. The only thing that you can do to get FaceTime on your phone is to buy a new phone from a country that allows FaceTime.

It's likely that your Library database has been damaged in all the crashing.
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

How full is your Mac's hard drive?
How full is your Apple Mail?
How many applications do you run simultaneously in the background while working in another application?
Do you run any antivirus software on your Mac? Antivirus software can slow down the normal operation of OS X.
Do you run any "crapware" like Mackeeper or any other type of "crapware" like so called hard drive "cleaning" apps?
