    Rt now I am not having SAP access. But I try to help u:
    1: IMG-SD-BF-Log of Incomplete items
    2: Try to find which Incompletion procedure is assigned to the Delivey type
    3: Simply add the field Business Area(ABAP field) in the procedure
    4: Add the status group (i guess 2 or the one relating to Delivery or PGI) to the field

    In exit U102 i have written code
    IF BSEG-KOART = 'K'.
        SELECT SINGLE WT_SUBJCT
        INTO LV_WT_SUBJCT
        FROM LFBW
        WHERE LIFNR = BSEG-LIFNR
        AND   BUKRS = BSEG-BUKRS.
        IF LV_WT_SUBJCT = 'X'.
          B_RESULT = B_TRUE.
        ENDIF.
      ENDIF.
    It is working fine for Transactions  F-02, F-43, FB60. But , it is not asking to enter Business Place for MIRO .,

    Here it says:
    3. Not all the values are available yet for callup point 1 and 2 for the substitution or validation in Transactions MR01, MRHR, MRHG, MR21, etc. (all with program SAPFMM08R). You should therefore use callup point 3 for the validation in these transactions. The values for callup point 1 and 2 are already available in the logisitics invoice verification (MR1M).
    Are you calling the validation for MIRO in callup point 3 (complete document)?

      Vat Gl Account when we enter in Fi entry we could assaign to BA
    Whereas for Miro Entries it is not allocated to Business area
    Pls suggest me on this i want the report to be with business area wise for Vat and Cin related Gl Account

    Hi,
    Go to TCode: OBC4.
    Select the relevant field status group related to VAT from the list.
    Go to additional account assignments in that. Make the Business Area field from Suppress to Required Entry.

    I cannot get the details of FS00 as mentioned by you as I am not linked to your server now.
    The GR/IR Clearing account is a centralized clearing and reconciliation account which works like a bridge
    which is getting debited on procurement and reversed during MIRO and is not linked to any Business Area.
    It is a Balance Sheet account which reveals the nature of goods received by your Plant whatever may be
    the storage location.  If the inventory account is there, it will show for which business area you have
    purchased.  During MIRO the GR/IR account becomes nil and it is an automatic internal posting through OBYC
    assignment. The other accounts will be vendor account which may carry BA classifications.  Hope you are clear.

  • MAKE BUSINESS AREA MANDATORY IN ACCOUNT ASSIGNMENT TAB IN PURCHASE ORDER.

    What I've done is in dev server is made BUSINESS AREA mandatoy for"A" asset acc assign category, so that while creating a capital purchse order, one should mandatory give input at BUSINESS AREA field in purchase order.
    This all setting i've done in OME9.
    Till now everything is OK in PO creation except the fact that system is not asking for Business area, infact it is picking the same business area which is present in asset code.
    i.e. when i give asset code, it is automatically proposing the business area from asset code and instead i want the system to compulsory ask for business area.
    By this I can be sure that the asset code authenticity...

    go to SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Purchase order > defiene screen layout at document level
    and check for the field "Business Area". to do the field as mandatory, the field should be available here.

  • Business Area at MR8M - MIRO Invoice

    I have posted IV - MIRO based on PO, but while reversing the MIRO document - MR8M, the system is not taking the Business area at line item of taxes GL (Excise clearing and VAT).
    Pls advice.

  • BADI - ac_document for Non Business Area updation in MIRO - Manual entry

    Hi,
    We have customised the above badi to Zac_document1 and implemented successfully in our system. It is working correctly and giving proper / expected result except while doing the manual G/L entry in MIRO (In some of the scenarios).
    In our Production system, one of the end user has generated a MIRO document in reference to a PO. In actual Invoice there were miscellaneous charges added by the party (Vendor), but not mentioned those in PO. End User has adjusted those charges by debiting the required tax G/L  - u201CAP-CG Deduct-VATu201D account (In G/L Tab - in MIRO) and crediting the same amount to Material (In material tab of MIRO) that was used in PO.
    While debiting the amount to G/L u2013 u201CAP-CG Deduct-VATu201D account, End User has not put the Business Area (In G/L Tab u2013 MIRO) which in turn result into entry in "Non Business Area" for the "G/L - AP-CG Deduct-VAT" irrespective of BADI was active in the system to update the business Area.
    Could anybody suggest me the possibilities of non-picking up the Business Area in the line item of manual entry (In G/L tab of MIRO) entered in MIRO.
    FI document is getting generated properly with updation of Business Area in all other scenarios (i.e. MIRO & SD Billing generation).
    Points will be assigned to proper answer.

    Hi Gurus,
    In my client place they using business areas,  there three business areas created 8100 , 8200,8300
    OMJ7 business area assigned to plant.
    In miro one of the materai the business area it is taking 8100 it is correct , but where in tha miro
    Suncontract charges it is taking 8200 business area, for all subcontract charges it is taking 8200 only,
    IN OKB9 also this subcontract gl-cost element assigned three business areas an plnat, but still in case
    of subcontract charges it is taking single business area that to it is 8200 only, it is not taking based on plant, this creating a problem, how i solve this issue,
    Please advice me.

  • Automatic Picking of Business Area in MIRO

    Hello SAP Gurus,
    I have the following problem while making MIRO after MIGO.
    While I am doing MIRO after I entered the all relavant data the system is asking Business Area field in Details Button becz it is mandatory field on Vendor Reconciliation G a/c.But my client is asking instead entering every time business area while making MIRO they want to pick this automatically,
    How can I do this ? Is there is any special customization I have top make for this.
    Plz suggest becz it is very urgent and I will give you full credit for this.

    OB65 Enable Business Area Balance Sheet
    OBXM Define Accounts for Subsequent Adjustment
    In the transaction OBXM you fill in the g/l account (creditor / debitor) and the ofset account. The postings are only on the ofset account!
    When you are using PCA these account should not be set up in 3KEH Choose Additional Balance Sheet and P&L Accounts !!

  • Business Place & Business Area in VAT Line item in MIRO

    Hi Gurus,
    I want to defualt the following values in the VAT line item in  while doing MIRO.
    1. Business place in the "VAT line item" to be defaulted from the "Vendor Line item".
    2. Business area in the "VAT line Item" to be defaulted from its relevant "Material / Expense/ GR/IR Line item".
    The same thing i have done in FB60 transaction by using a BADI. But the same BADI is not working for MIRO.
    What the BADI does it goes and updates the BSEG table for the fields "Bupla (Business Place) & GSBER(Business Area).
    But while doing MIRO the BSEG table is not called at all and hence the BADI which is used earlier is not able to update the fields and hence cannot be used.
    I feel the reason could be that while doing MIRO the BSEG table is not called directly but it is called through a Function Module. In such case a BADI will be required which will call the relevant Function module.
    Need your help in how to update the VAT Line Item's Business Place & Business Area in the MIRO document.

    Try using substitution maintained in FI.Transaction code OBBH.
    Maintain the prerequisite based on the Transaction code.
    Copy the same logic used in BAdi for the exit created.
    We have used this for similar type of requirements

    1) Through Screen Variant T/code: SHD0
    2) Validation
    But here  i Never worked on sreen variant level and validation, I need step by step to make business place mandatory in MIRO

    Hi Bhanu,
    Use T.Code GGB0 - Validation maintenance - Change Validation overview.
    Choose Financial Accounting in Application area. Select Line Item and click Validation create icon.
    Give a Validation ID BP and text Business Place Mandatory and save.
    Click Step icon - Step 01 - now the prerequisites; check and message will come in margin panel.
    Give text for the step 01. Click Prerequisites. You can see the Table Fields  Structure BKPF, BSEG, and SYST.
    If you double click on this you view individual fields relating to these master tables.
    Your prerequisite may be like this :
    Company Code is = XYZ ; T.Code = MIRO & F-43; Posting key = 31 ( Credit Vendor)
    Double click BKPF > double click  BKPF-BUKRS>  click "=" >  click constant > a pop up box will open
    here fill up your company Code XYZ.  This will automatically come in the top box.  Click "AND". Now  there is a back arrow
    button in the table field panel and come back to the original display of master tables.  Here double click SYST
    Click SYST-TCODE > click "=" > click Constant > in the pop up box enter tcode MIRO. If you want to add F-43,
    you have to click "AND" after this and repeate SYST-TCODE = F-43. Now click back arrow and double click BSEG and
    click BSEG-BSCHL > Click "=" > Click Constant > in the popup window enter 31 and save the prerequisites.
    (For the above requisites, the system will check if  Business Place is 1000 is filled up during transaction and if not it has to
    give a error message.)
    Now Click Check in the right margin below prerequisites menu. Again the table list will be seen with BKPF, BSEG and SYST
    Double click BSEG > click BSEG-BUPLA > Click "=" > Click constant and in the pop up box fill the business place 1000 and save
    the check menu.
    In the right margin now double click message.  Here you can create a message text of your own "Business Place mandatory"
    Save the Message and come back and finally save the Validation so created.
    Now use T.Code OB28 and enter your Company Code > give call point 2 > and Activation level 1 and save the entries.
    Now you can check for the transaction in MIRO where without filling the Business Place field you cannot save the entries.

    While MIRO transaction I am getting following error message -
    Balancing field "Business Area" in line item 004 not filled
    Message no. GLT2201
    I checked document splitting configuration is as follows -
    Related GL is added for document splitting, Configuration at document type level RE>0300>001
    Business area - mandatory field.
    This GL is CENVAT GL account. And while doing MIRO, business area field is blank for this GL
    Could anyone help me out?

  • Business Area required

    Hello,
    When trying to post the billing document from SD, I am getting the error F5808 'Field Bus. Area is a required field for G/L account XX12 430000'
    'The vaule for field "Bus. Area" in the interface to Financial Accounting is an initial value but you are requiered to make an entry in the field selection for G/L account "430000" in company code "XX12" linked to the field selection for posting key "01".'
    The SD document has an Internal Order which has the Business Area. The item has the business are filled in both Accounting and Account assigment tabs. However, it is still saying that the business area is required.
    The Business Area is set as mandatory in the Field Status Group assign to the account 430000, and I don't want to change that, as we want the business area mandatory.
    The account 430000 comes from the Customer Master.
    I am stack in here as I don't know where this problem comes from.
    I have done another SD order with the same customer, the same material, but different Company Code, Sales Organization and different Internal Order, and it works OK.
    The internal Orders have the same configuration.
    The G/L account 430000 is equal in both Companies
    Any idea of why it is not taking the Business Area for that company?

    Dear,
    Please check whether the Plant is assigned to Division and Business Area in SPRO> IMG>Enterprise Structure>Assignment> Sales & Distribution>Business Area Account Assignment>Assign Business Area to plant & Division.

  • Business Area wise finacial statements - P&L, Balance Sheet

    Hi,
    My client has a requirement to have business area wise Trail Balance. In OBY6, business area financial statements tick has been done. So it is asking business area in cost objects. Plants are assigned to business areas. But still, I am able to post Balance sheet account to Balance sheet accounts without business area. I thought making business area mandatory for all G/Ls in OBC4. Then I have to write many substitutions  and  I may lose advantage of F.5D which gives business area basing on other P&L line item.
    What needs to be done?
    Can someone help me to suggest what exactly needs to be done to get Business Area wise Trail Balance.
    We have not activated document splitting functionality. Please suggest the way without document splitting and New G/L functionalities.
