Business Area - Selection Criteria for Payroll
Hi Guys,
I have maintained IT1008 for all employee where in Business area has been mentioned.
I have one payroll area only.
The business demands to run payroll based on BUSINESS AREA wherein I couldn't find in dynamic selections as well as in Search helps in Payroll driver screen.
Any expert advise how to proceed................
Hello
Best way to do that change your report Category for Payroll, use such report category in which you can find the cost centers.
Configuration Steps to change ther Payroll Report Category
SPRO-Personnel Management-Human Resource Information System-Reporting-Adjust the Standard Screen Selection-Assign Report Categories-
Make New Entry Give Payroll Program name and Such Category in which you enter Business Area
Please see report category X_X00003

Deactivated means that you have executed a 2-step archiving.
You have different residence times. SAP set the deletion flag if residence time one is met, but residence time 2 not yet.
If both times are met, the PO gets archived.
for examples see OSS note 948493 - Residence time in new reports RM06EV47, RM06BV47
You probably have customized the test variant for MM_EKKO as production variant, other wise SAP would not have updated your database. -

Dear All,
There is a requirement to add additional selection criteria for RHECM_CREATE_COMP_PROCESS.
Compensation Plan needs to take several optiions rather than a single option.
Incentive Plan Type to be added as additional selection criteria
Do we need to copy the standard program and then modify it or there can be some other way out for it.

Shraddhahave checked out the SDN forums quite throughly and have come up with a couple of questions/solutions.
1) Copy the program into Z-name space and add in the code
Question: Where to specifically add the code, the program is huge with multiple enhancement points being seen in the code.
Can someone please guide me where I can change the displayed records, point where iI can append data or change the internal table being sent for ALV display.

Create a Z report that is a copy of the selection include of the standard selection screen include with the additional selection criteria.
- Export the extra selection criteria value to shared memory.
- Submit the standard VL10G program with the selection sets.
- In user exit (depends on which field needs to be checked), import the extra selection criteria value back in and filter the selected data set.
Could someone please guide me if it is possible to do the above within RM07DOCS, and a little more detail on how to go about it?.

Can we change the selection criteria for RV60SBAT Background Job for Billin
We have a requirement to add a new selection criteria for RV60SBAT Background Job for Billing. We want to process back order invoices first. So we want a specific background job to select these. So we want to select any orders that are eligible to be invoiced where order date < the date of background job(r sy-datum ). Any ideas where we can introduce this logic for selection criteria?

For your requirement , copy the standard RV60SBAT program to Z program and in that copied RV60SBAT program , maintain the logic that the backorder invoices should be first processed.Then after that regular background job for billing should take happen .Then your requirement can be fulfilled

My scenario is: I have a sales document cube as well as deliveries cube! There are queries as well on these cubes!
Now , the requirement is to make a query having the info of both the cubes with the selection criteria as promised date! i had so created multicube and designed a query as well.
As promised date is keyfigure in both the cubes, i wonder whether this could be possible and thats why i posted my query!

Automatic Business Area Derivation Rule for Vendor Line Item in MIRO
Hello Experts,
We trying to use Business Area concept for our client.
I have completed all configuration setting for the business are derivation like
1. Creation of Business Area
2. Assign Business area to Plant / Division (OMJ7)
3. Business area determination from sales area (TVTA)
4. Business Area by Sales Area
5. Checked Field Status Group for Customer and Vendor Reconciliation Account
It is working for for compelete sales process and in Procurement cylce it is picking business for MIGO transaction both the line items.
But
In MIRO (Purchase invoice posting) it is automatically taking Business area to the GR/IR line item and it not taking Business area for the vendor line item (automatically)
I comes know that there is a business area derivation rule for this to happen automatically.
Can you please propose the soulution for the automatic derivation of business in MIRO for vendor line item.

I do mot think there is a BA derivation rule for MIRO.
The best you can do is:
1. Use a user exit or enhancement point for deriving the BA from the GR/IR line and populate that in the vendor line
or
2. You make BA as a mandatory field in the field status group for the vendor reconciliation account. This will then force the user update the BA. We use this option. This is so because at times, the vendor item may need a different business area than the GR/IR line.

Business area not determined for line item?
Hello All,
I am trying to create a sales order. When I enter a line item and enter plant for the item, it gives me an error "Business area not determined for the line item #" and it does not accept the item.
I have already checked in the enterprise structure in IMG that the business area is defined and assigned for this plant.
Is there anything else need to be done? Do we have to define or assign the business area in material master?
I would appreciate if somebody can answer.

Business area wrongly posted for invoice.
The user was posted the invoice with two line items one with posting key 40 for debit and one is 31 for credit vendor, these two line items are posted with different business areas. and the the invoice is cleared also.
Could any one please suggest what the above issue affects the business. what would be the resolution to be done for this.

The balances are not matching in fbl3n and fs10n, Due to the above wrong document posted and cleared also. what is the better way to match the two balances (fbl3n and fs10n).
Can i reverse the cleared wrong document and reset it in fbra, if i do this is there any problems occur in production.

maintained class in t-code CL01 for you characteristics then sort sequence CU70 as per shelf life, setting expiration date check by OMJE for your plamt and movment type,
maintained strategy type in spro in production
Define Batch search procedure and assign your strategy there.
then allocate your search procedure to your plant in spro
and then maintained condition type in t -code COB1 for your plant.
also maintained your class in material master in classification view for batch class

OIM11g R2 - If two roles (ACF2 and AD) are selected together for a user req
Hi ,
We are facing a problem In the Catalog, if two roles (ACF2 and AD) are selected together for a user and checking it out.The request goes to approval process.We have not created any approval process flow.
Plz let me know how to recover from it and provide an option to provision two roles simulaneously to a user without going into approval process.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a user in OIM .
2. Search that user.Administration->Users->Search User
3. Click on 'Roles' tab and select 'Request Role' under that tab.
4.'Catalog' tab opens .Click on Search icon and Add AD and ACF2 Role to the cart.
5. Click on 'Check out'
6. Click on Submit button
7. Request Summary tab opens with Request status shown as 'Obtaining Request Approval' and Request Type as 'Assign Roles'.
Note: If we assign AD and ACF2 individually to user and running Evaluate User Policies we are able to see account in Provisioned state under Accounts tab of User and request is not going to approval process

1. Request Type= Assign Roles
Level= Request Level
Auto Approval checked
Approval Rule=Requester.UserLogin Equals XELSYSADM
(Created this rule as i am logeed in as XELSYSADM)
2. Request Type= Assign Roles
Level= Operation Level
Auto Approval checked
All Scope Checked
Approval Rule=Request.RequestType Equals Assign Roles
After that i opened the user request role page and requested 2 roles (AD and ACF2).
But now also request went to approval work flow
Please point which step i have missed or any other step need to be performed.

How to change Selection Criteria for a Business Content Data Source

I am extracting data using 0CO_OM_CCA_9 Datasource. I would like to be able to select a range of Company Code (BUKRS) to pull in, but I cannot find a way to make certain fields available as selection criteria. When I go into "Change DataSource", I can unselect fields, and even select certain fields, but the option for most is grayed out.
How can I make this field available as selection criteria in Infopackage?
Thanks for the help.Its not that simple to enable a new selection for a Business Content Datasource, if its not already provided by SAP. Enabling new fields for selection should be accompanied by corresponding extractor code changes to process those field selections and use those selections throughout the extraction process.
Solution for your problem would be create a custom extractor with all the logic of standard extractor (function module BWOMD_GET_CTRCSTA1 for 0CO_OM_CCA_9) and extra logic to process the new fields for selection.

I created a report with one subreport and im comparing information from both reports but i need to apply selection criteria in the main report using one of the fields in the subreport, the problem is that the subreport field doesnt appear in the select expert screen. Change Selection criteria for existing report in Report painter
Hi Experts,
We are on 4.7, using report painter for getting reports for Cost center & Profit Center. For one of the report we have selection criteria as Cost center and cost center group, but now user want us to add new selection field as Cost element and cost element Group to same report. We have tried all the options from GR32 ->Edit-> General Selection, but we don't find cost element in Key figure listed there.
Please let us know how can we add the new field to selection criteria. We also would like to know is this is possible with existing report to add new fields or not? Is that we need to create new report for this?

In my opinion the best way to troubleshoot issues like this is to go to SAP delivered standard reports and see how they are setup. For example, in your case you want to add cost element and cost element group to your report. There is one standard report from SAP - Transaction :S_ALR_87013611 which has both cost center, cost center group and cost element, cost element group in the selection criteria. You can look how this report is set up, and maintain your report in a similar fashion. Atleast this way, it will give you an idea.
Go to transaction code GRR3 and under library look for report "1SIP-001". By double clicking on the row, you will see how it is maintained.
