Business Blueprint - Table Names
Hello all,
I am busy with filling the Solution Manager with Processes for a Testing Session.
Following the steps within the standard SAP way, it will consume quite a lot of time.
Does anybody know witch tables I have to fill, to build the SolMan Structure?
Can anybody help?

Given a business object type, how to find out the underlying table name ?
Hi,
Given a business object type (e.g. BUSxxx), is there any Function Module that can be used to get the table name for that object ?
Have been through the SWO* FM's but did not get anything yet.
Pls let me know how this can be done.
Regards,
-Kev.>

Given a table name, I am able to figure out the column information and read that data. But all I have is the business object type, so would need to figure out all the tables (as you helpfully pointed out, there could be more than 1 for a business object) and then read from those tables.

So, assuming for the moment we are just dealing with the PO BUS2012 business object, your external application will be passing you a BO type and also (presumably- otherwise you could be sending back an awful lot of data) a BO key, and you then want to send back all the detail for PO - exactly what the GetDetail method that is present on most objects does - is that right?
Since most BOs have a GetDetail method, can't you just use that?
Though I really can't see why your external application would be interested in all SAP BOs - most applications are a bit more specific than that. -
How-To Find the R/3 Table Name for a BW Data Source
Hi there,
Please advice how can I find the respective table name in R/3 for a particular BW DataSource ?
P/S : I would like a technical how-to instead of referring the table names at HELP.SAP.COM
For instance, for my Standard Business Content Info Cube 0CCA_C03(CO-OM-CCA: Statistical Key Figures) which extracts from BW Data Source: 0CO_OM_CCA_4
My question is, how can I find out which specific tables in SAP R/3 is this Data Source pulling the data from ?Hi Dinesh,
Data Source: 0CO_OM_CCA_4
1) In my R/3, I ran SE16 : Table -> ROOSOURCE
2) OLTPSOURCE -> 0CO_OM_CCA_4
3) EXMETHOD = F1
(Hence, I assume the Extraction Method is a Function Module)
4) So, Function Module = BWOM_RS_GET_CTRSTA
5) Run SE37 in R/3
How do I find out the specific tables in this Function Module ?
Would you please list them for me, so I can further refer to the individual tables ? -
How to find the list of un used table names in a schema?
Hi,
I have a doubt in Oracle. The doubt is that If we are using any tables in Function Or Proc.... Then...We can list all those used table names from USER_DEPENDENCIES system table. Right...
But, If the table is used with Execute Immediate Statement, then, those table names are not coming out with USER_DEPENDENCIES system table. Because they are identified at run time and not compile time.
It is fine. And I agree.. But, If I want to list out those tables also...then...How to do? Any idea?
I think ‘USER_SOURCE’ system table may not be the right one. If there is any other system table avails for this purpose...then..it would be very grateful to extract right...
So I am wanting that exact system table.
Please let me know about this, if you have any idea or check with your friends if they have any idea.
Regards,
Subramanian GHi Guys,
Thanks for all your answers.
Yes....You are all right. We can list out the used tables upto certain extent. Anyhow, I have done some R&D to derive the SQL's which is given below:
SELECT TABLE_NAME FROM USER_TABLES
MINUS
SELECT DISTINCT UPPER(REFERENCED_NAME)
FROM user_dependencies
where
referenced_type='TABLE' and UPPER(NAME) in
select distinct UPPER(object_name) from user_objects where UPPER(object_type) in
'MATERIALIZED VIEW',
'PACKAGE',
'PACKAGE BODY',
'PROCEDURE',
'TRIGGER',
'VIEW',
'FUNCTION'
UNION
SELECT UT.TABLE_NAME FROM
SELECT TABLE_NAME FROM USER_TABLES
MINUS
SELECT DISTINCT UPPER(REFERENCED_NAME)
FROM user_dependencies
where
referenced_type='TABLE' and UPPER(NAME) in
select distinct UPPER(object_name) from user_objects where UPPER(object_type) in
'MATERIALIZED VIEW',
'PACKAGE',
'PACKAGE BODY',
'PROCEDURE',
'TRIGGER',
'VIEW',
'FUNCTION'
AND REFERENCED_OWNER=(SELECT sys_context('USERENV', 'CURRENT_SCHEMA') FROM dual)
) UT,
( SELECT * FROM USER_SOURCE
WHERE NAME IN
( SELECT DISTINCT NAME FROM USER_SOURCE
WHERE TYPE NOT IN ('TYPE')
AND
UPPER(TEXT) LIKE '%EXECUTE IMMEDIATE%'
) US
WHERE
UPPER(US.TEXT) LIKE '%'||UPPER(UT.TABLE_NAME)||'%'
AND
(UPPER(US.TEXT) NOT LIKE '%--%')
The above SQL Query can list out unused tables by checking the Dynamic SQL Statement also upto some level only.
Once we extracted the list of unused tables, having a manual check would be also greater to verify as it is should not impact the business applications.

How to find table name for the fields from Standard Extractor in CRM system
How to find table name of fields from the standard extractor in CRM system ?
e.g. We use LBWE TCode in R/3 system to find table name for the field from Extractor VCSCL(e.g.).
Likewise is there any way to find table name for the fields from Standard extractor like 0CRM_LEAD_I.Hi ,
Please find the link below for understanding BW CRM analysis.
http://help.sap.com/bp_biv135/html/bw.htm
activate the CRM DSs by scenario:
1) Activate the application component hierarchy (tcode RSA9). Changes made to the application component hierarchy in the CRM system can be transferred to the BW using the "Edit Application Component Hierarchy" (SBIW - Postprocessing of DataSources).
SAP Note 434886 must be implemented in CRM 3.0 before the application component hierarchy is activated.
2) Activate the Business Content DataSources (tcode RSA5).
Select/enter the application component and choose Execute (F8).
To compare the shipped and active versions, choose the 'Select Delta' pushbutton. If there is no active version of the DataSource, it is selected automatically.
To activate the shipped version, choose the 'Transfer DataSources' pushbutton.
3) Management of the versions of the BW-Adapter metadata (tcode BWA5). All DataSources are displayed that are managed by the BW Adapter.
As in transaction RSA5 (Service API Metadata Activation), the 'Select Delta' function can be used to select the inactive DataSources or compare shipped and active versions.
You can also go directly to the screen for maintaining DataSources that are managed by the BW Adapter.
The 'Compare Version' function makes a detailed comparison of the shipped and active versions.
All BW-Adapter metadata is considered when versions are compared:
Header information (Table SMOXHEAD)
Mapping information (Table SMOXRELP)
Global selection conditions (Table SMOXGSEL)
Attribute key fields (Table SMOXAFLD)
Hope this helps.

2 Do you ever base the prise of an item on the cost to manufacture or purchase the material?
3. Eill you need to pas pricing information to the sales informatiom system?
how to configure above requirement in business blueprints?
please solve this problem
Ketan KataraI install Oracle Business Process Architect 11g again but with local DB. there is quick start example. when I share blueprint that project, It is ok but when I add a repository server and share a project inside it nothing happen.

Mapping of Business One Field names to SAP R/3 Field Names
Hi experts,
We are downgrading from SAP R/3 to SAP Business One. I am having difficulties in mapping the SAP R/3 fields to Business One fields. Hope you could help me by providing the field names in R/3 linked to Business One field names.
Thank you very muchHi,
I have ever used SAP R/3 and I knew that there is a feature to export data from SAP R/3 to excel.
I suggest export it first if you want to migrate data from R/3 to SAP B1. The data in the excel file could be used to enter into data transfer workbench (DTW) excel template file. DTW is an addon to import data into SAP B1 database system.
You could open this folder :
C:\Program Files\SAP\Data Transfer Workbench\Templates\Templates
after full installation of SAP B1 (begin from server tools, server application, application client, SDK, DI API, DTW).
To know more about the column template definition and location in SAP B1, you could use SDK help center file. This file is only available if you installed the SDK. This helpfile could be used to know the fields name and meaning in all SAP B1 tables

Is it possible to change Overridden Qualified Table Name in code?
Hi,
Environment: Crystal Reports XI R2, 2008, Sql Server 2005
I had about 1000 reports to change. Several changes are the standard, so i had created several tools that i use to make that change in all reports.
However i can't find a way to change Overridden Qualified Table Name and remove the Catalog and Owner information, so it seems that the only way is using CR editor and make these changes one by one... not a good idea!
Does anyone managed to do this???
Thanks,
Carlos CrespoHi,
<P>Thanks for your input.</P>
<P>I use CR in two ways:<BR>
a) to develop reports to use in our projects - In this case we don't have major issues with this, and we chance the location of the database in code at runtime;<BR>
b) to develop reports to use in ERP softwares from third parties - and here we are having some issues - not always but some times.<BR>
We know that they change the location of the DB in code also (no specific info however).<BR>
<P>An example:<P>
We change a report on my development PC, against a DB called TEST;<BR>
We send the report to the customer, who runs it on its system, trying to read data from a db XYZ;<BR>
If the customer also has a TEST db, in some reports the system reads some tables from XYZ, but others he gets the info from TEST db. In one example our customer has an invoice where all data was from the production DB, except the COUNTRY table that was read from a copy of the TEST db. After TEST was removed, the data was read from the production DB....<BR><BR>
And to get you an idea: we're talking about hundreds of customers - some of them have 600 SQL DBs in the same server (small Dbs, around 70/500 MB in size) - so we can only hope that the user doesn't create a DB with the same name we used to develop the report...<BR><BR>
And what i don't understand is WHY we can define Overridden Qualified Table Name in same tables, and not in others.<BR><BR>
Example:<BR><BR>
One of the reports has 6 sub-reports. <BR>
I can define Overridden Qualified Table Name in the main report (except for a View), and in 2 of the subreports - but not in the other 4...<BR>
The zero in front of the table name shows a table where Overridden Qualified Table Name has been defined, and the original Catalog and Owner was removed - the 2 shows a table where Overridden Qualified Table Name has been defined, but the original catalog (PRITESTEDOC75) and owner (dbo) remains.<BR><BR>
I even tried to export the sub-reports, change this info in the sub-report, and then import it again (a suggestion from Business Object support), but it doesn't work...<BR><BR>

Petstore install problem on Derby and Mysql (Linux) - Upper case table name
Hi
I seem to have a problem which may also be at the heart of many threads here - the tables are created in lower case yet referenced in UPPER CASE.
If the DB is case sensitive, the tables arent found.
does anyone have an UPPER CASED VERSION OF THE SETUP SCRIPT ????
1) setup/sql/javadb/petstore.sql contains all table and field names in lower case
in Netbeans look under ServerResources/sql
i.e.
create table tag(
tagid INTEGER NOT NULL,
tag VARCHAR(30) NOT NULL,
refcount INTEGER NOT NULL,
primary key (tagid),
unique(tag)
2) the petstore app tries to access using CAPITALISED NAMES
i.e.
Exception [TOPLINK-4002] (Oracle TopLink Essentials - 2006.8 (Build 060830)): oracle.toplink.essentials.exceptions.DatabaseException
Internal Exception: org.apache.derby.client.am.SqlException: Schema 'PETSTORE' does not existError Code: -1
Call:SELECT TAGID, REFCOUNT, TAG FROM TAG ORDER BY REFCOUNT DESC, TAG ASC
Query:ReportQuery(com.sun.javaee.blueprints.petstore.model.Tag)
at oracle.toplink.essentials.exceptions.DatabaseException.sqlException(DatabaseException.java:303)
at oracle.toplink.essentials.internal.databaseaccess.DatabaseAccessor.basicExecuteCall(DatabaseAccessor.java:551)
at oracle.toplink.essentials.internal.databaseaccess.DatabaseAccessor.executeCall(DatabaseAccessor.java:437)
3) In mysql, the table names are .......
mysql> describe tag;
--------------------------------------------------+
| Field | Type | Null | Key | Default | Extra |
--------------------------------------------------+
| tagid | int(11) | NO | PRI | | |
| tag | varchar(30) | NO | UNI | | |
| refcount | int(11) | NO | | | |
--------------------------------------------------+
3 rows in set (0.02 sec)
I HATE DBAs THAT ONLY KNOW HOW TO SHOUT :-)

SQL Statement error - ORA-00903: invalid table name
Hi
I have written a sql script that gets executed from a form within e-business suite. Unfortunately, the script is falling over with an error:
unknown command beginning "MERGE INTO..." - rest of line ignored.
unknown command beginning "USING edop..." - rest of line ignored.
unknown command beginning "ON (elw.ro..." - rest of line ignored.
unknown command beginning "WHEN MATCH..." - rest of line ignored.
For a list of known commands enter HELP
and to leave enter EXIT.
SET ELW.billed_flag = t.billed_flag,
ERROR at line 2:
ORA-00903: invalid table name the actual statement that is causing the issue is:
MERGE INTO edopaif.table1 elw
USING edopaif.tablw2 t
ON (elw.rowid = t.LOAD_WORKING_ROWID)
WHEN MATCHED THEN
UPDATE
SET ELW.billed_flag = t.billed_flag,
ELW.last_bill_generated = t.last_bill_generated,
ELW.last_bill_type = t.last_bill_type,
ELW.load_month = t.load_month,
ELW.BILL_TRANSACTION_ID = t.bill_transaction_id
WHEN NOT MATCHED THEN
INSERT(error_meaning)
VALUES('ROWID error with ins_ptia');The version of e-business suite that we are using is: 11.5.10.2.
The version of the Oracle database that we are using is:
Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.6.0 - 64bit Production
PL/SQL Release 9.2.0.6.0 - Production
CORE 9.2.0.6.0 Production
TNS for IBM/AIX RISC System/6000: Version 9.2.0.6.0 - Production
NLSRTL Version 9.2.0.6.0 - Production
Please note that I am able to successfully run the statement directly connected as the APPS schema in the database - the error only occurs when the script is run from the forms front-end (which is really confusing me).
Many thanks
PaulHi
I've modified the script to include only the statement that is erroring and it still errors when executed from the front end application.
Next I re-wrote the statement to use PL/SQL instead of the MERGE statement, to do the update, and the script completes succesfully, i.e.:
DECLARE
CURSOR cu_lw IS
SELECT t.billed_flag,
t.last_bill_generated,
t.last_bill_type,
t.load_month,
t.bill_transaction_id,
t.load_working_rowid
FROM table2 t;
BEGIN
FOR rec_cu_lw IN cu_lw LOOP
UPDATE table1 elw
SET ELW.billed_flag = rec_cu_lw.billed_flag,
ELW.last_bill_generated = rec_cu_lw.last_bill_generated,
ELW.last_bill_type = rec_cu_lw.last_bill_type,
ELW.load_month = rec_cu_lw.load_month,
ELW.BILL_TRANSACTION_ID = rec_cu_lw.bill_transaction_id
WHERE elw.rowid = rec_cu_lw.load_working_rowid;
END LOOP;
END;
/I am still unsure as to why the MERGE statement is failing when executed in the front end, but completes in the backend with no issues at all. Obviously I would prefer to use the MERGE statement instead of PL/SQL to do the update.
Thanks

Can I have unique decision table name in the BRF Plus System?
Hi All,
In BRF Plus , we can create more than one decision table with the same name in the same application or across different applications.
We have a requirement were in we have to setup a framework so that we don't have duplicate decision name or any expression name across system. We need to maintain unique name.
One way is to control this by having particular naming conventions but still there will be room for errors.
Is there are way to activate the unique name for decision table name across or within application?
Thanks.Hi Sainath
Carsten is of course always correct. That said I can understand the desire - if only to avoid confusion for business users. Sounds like a good use case for the new DSM deployment approval workflow perhaps? But in the short term either application exits or custom programs are the most likely solutions
Hope that helps
Jocelyn
