Business Catalyst not Recognizing Dreamweaver

I am setting up a new site on Business Catalyst using the beta of Adobe Dreamweaver CS6.
All seemed to be working fine until last week. I brought up a page and went to access the Business Catalyst widgets in the BC panel. Instead, the BC panel gave me a message saying
"This document belongs to a site that is unavailable to the current user"
This problem is happening only in Dreamweaver. I can edit pages fine from within BC itself.
Has anyone else encountered this and, if so, what is the fix?

Hi Charles, first of all it's Beta ... things change. Second, if it's beta it should have been asked in the Beta forums. General users do not have access to the beta to be abe to help.

Changes made to site on Business Catalyst not recognized.

I've added a page and altered several links to a site I've uploaded to Business Catalyst. When I sync to the site I get a message that no changes are detected. I've tried this about five times over the past few weeks and always get the same result.

Business Catalyst Panel in Dreamweaver 6

I am having trouble getting the Business Catalyst panel in Dreamweaver CS6 to work. The panel works just fine on another computer using Dreamweaver CS 5.5, but I cannot get CS6 to show any of the standard BC panel elements. I've tried the few solutions suggested in the forum, but I have to resort to sticking with Dreamweaver 5.5 to work with Business Catalyst sites.
It appears that this subject has been covered for several months. Is there a fix for Dreamweaver CS6?

Ah, okay. What that tells me is you may not have set up your website properly in CS6. What I am guessing happened is you set it up the old way using the extension?
My next suggestion would be to delete the site from your Site definitions.
Sites -> Manage Sites -> (Select the site you are having problems with) -> then click on the '-' in the bottom left corner.
Then you need to import the site from the site manager - not from the extension like you used to do.
Use the Import Business Catalyst Site button in the site manager and that should properly set up your site in CS6.

Hello everyone.
I am having some problems whith my business catalyst panel in dreamweaver cs6 for windosw8.This is not the first time i have this issue.
The panel doesnt open wen i click the loggin button as you can see in this video here:http://screencast.com/t/EMaCoMdxQ ,and it has nothing to do whith my bc payed subscription because if i reinstall dreamweaver i know its going to work again whith all the trial modules and everything, cause i did it before.
Before i reinstalled dreamweaver and sometimes it opened and sometimes it didnt.
Is there a fix for this issue.My dreamweaver is the 12.0.something and yesterday i updated it.i also tryed in times before instaling the dreamweaver cs5 businesscatalyst plugin wich i downloaded at the adobe portal but it does nothing, i did this many times too and followed all the instructions step by step.It only works if i reinstall dreamweaver i guess.
Does anyone also has this issue on theyr dreamweaver cs6 12.0 for windows?

Can't connect to business catalyst server using dreamweaver

I can't connect to the business catalyst server using dreamweaver. It prompts incorrect username or password, but it's not though. I'm traying to import a templet from business catalyst to change the background to a personal image.
Can't find out how els to do it so I'm trying this.
Unless someone knows how els I can do that

This prompt itself means that your login credentials are wrong. Double, triple check the ID and password you're using to try to login to BC.
Try logging in from here: http://www.businesscatalyst.com/admin/Index.aspx to see if you're able to. If not, reset your password from here.

Can you let me know if its possible to import a muse site from Business catalyst in to Dreamweaver? I have published a site using Muse to Business catalyst but would like to use FTP in dreamweaver to administer and edit.

I think you could but you wouldn't like what you see in Design View. Why do you want to do this?

Can't create new business catalyst site in Dreamweaver

Hello,
This question has been asked on the forums before but an answer has never been provided.
I'm trying to create a new Business Catalyst site in Dreamweaver but when I click "New Business Catalyst Site" a blank dialogue box pops up for about 2 seconds and disappears again. This happens no matter where I try to create the new site from.

I followed these easy steps and it worked for me.
Make sure to run as administrator.

Extension Manager not recognizing Dreamweaver

Extension manger is not recognizing Dreamweaver CS3, It did
have Dreamweaver 8, but after I un-installed that, CS3 did not show
up. When I try to install an extension, EM tells me that I have to
have Dreamweaver MX or greater. The EM version number is
1.8.169.

Try launching Dreamweaver CS3 first, then launch the EM.
Sometimes the EM doesn't find Dreamweaver unless it's running.

I cannot create a new Business Catalyst site with Dreamweaver CC 2014 (Mac). The error message states that Dreamweaver cannot connect with server, try again later. In addition, I am also unable to load remotely a previously created Business Catalyst site as it says there is something wrong with my username or password. However when I put my password in and press test connection, it says it has connected successfully. What is going wrong and how can I fix this problem?

I am attempting to instal the Business Catalyst extention to Dreamweaver CC (2014).

The Business Catalyst extension does NOT appear in my Dreamweaver CC 2014 program. I keep getting "instal the Business Catalyst extension via Extension Manager". Please advise?

Please confirm that it is installed using Extension Manager CC? And it is showing as installed inside that application?

Business Catalyst Not Working

I have an Adobe Cloud full paid monthly account. I have used Business Catalyst to preview sites for clients for about a year and a half or more.
I did not use it for a few months and then recently tried to use it again.
Every time I try to upload my new site to BC and try to login it says "unknown error." I have reset password twice but password is correct.
Tech support at Business Catalyst is not being helpful except to ask me what software I'm using and my login:
I use Muse.
What is going on? I thought that my monthly $50 to Adobe included a free Business Catalyst account? No?
The help and FAQ pages never seem to answer the questions I have.
I log in to my Adobe account okay but I can't seem to log in to BC.
BC first forced me to change my account password. Then they said that I had to change it back to my Adobe ID password.
Now each time I try to log in it says there is already an account with that email.
I think I'm going to lose my mind.
Customer/Tech support at other cloud systems is not this difficult to get through to.

Import Business Catalyst site into Dreamweaver {subject edited by moderator}

I created a website using Dreamweaver CC. I added business catalyst extension and want to use its feature for the site I created within Dreamweaver. However, every time I tried to open up the business catalyst section, it wants me to create a new trial site. How do I skip this step and integrate what I already created using Dreamweaver CC? I don't want to have a trial site. I want to use what I already created using Dreamweaver CC with the business catalyst extension. Help!!!!

I'm afraid that's how Business Catalyst works. You can't just upload any site to BC servers. You must first create a BC account, create a BC site template, edit your template, activate BC modules, etc... If all you want is to host your DW site without rebuilding it with BC, I suggest you look for commercial web hosting someplace else.

I got 2 minutes and 25 seconds into this tutorial and the functionality contained in the tutorial simply does not exist on my copy of DW.
There are only about 5 modules available and the site admin seems to have about 5% of the functionality listed in the tutorial.
