Business configuration view - not assigned

I am currently working on one extension field where users could change dropdown values.
Currently what I have is business configuration object, business configuration set and business configuration view. Then dropdown field type is this business configuration object and everything works. Problem comes, when I want to edit those values. I assign business configuration view of that object to ImplementationProjects Work center view (I saw example in tutorial of SAP – documentation). But then in Business configuration work center and implementation projects when I click my scoping question and option I receive this strange error (see screenshot) (although the activity is in project)
Do you have any solution for this?
Or what is your way of implementing dropdowns that can be edited?
Have been strugling with this thing for 2 weeks now, any kind of advice or help I would really appreciate.

You should ideally have assigned Business systems in ur QA landscape to 1 group & Business systems in your dev landscape to another group. Also , hope you have created transport targets for all ur Business systems in dev environment.In ur QA SLD , you should have two entries for each business system , something like
DEV-BS-1 -> transport target -> QA-BS-1
QA-BS-1 -> transport source -> DEV-BS-1

CrossCheck in OKB9 Account Assignments -Detail per Businessarea/Val.area - check for the cost center to which Val.area it is assigned. change it as Per your requirments.

Business system * is not assigned to a business system group

I am running XI3.0 (SP12), Oracle 9.2.0.6 on a Windows 2003 Cluster Server.
I am trying to import some config from the Integration Directory from Dev into QA but I am getting the following error:
<b>IMPORT XI 3.0 Design Objects
Business system XIT is not assigned to a business system group with the ID (XISystemGroup)</b>
I have copied my Dev SLD into my QA SLD.
Has anyone else come across the error??

Business Partner number not assigned to ORG unit

hello colleagues,
I cretaed an Org Unit at the highest level, i have assigned Basic data, address data and i have assigned function and attribute, but when i save the Org unit,I am not getting the BP number,
can anyone tell me what could be reaosn for this, but normally whenever a new org unit is created
a BP has to be assigned to it right
please help me with this problem

Hi Chandu,
To create a bp number & relationship for org unit follow the below process
==> SPRO
==> Customer Relationship Management
==> Master data
==> Business Partner
==> Integration Business Partner-Organization Management
==> Create Business Partner Initially
Click on Organisational Unit(s) and provide the input as 'ID' of the ORG and Execute
Click on the line and right click and select 'Start Repair'
If Bp is already existing, u wnat to build only relation ship follow the below process.
==> Use Tcode SE37
==> Use functional module as 'HR_OBJECTBUPA_INSERT' and Execute
==> Click on the value button and enter OT as 'O', OBJID as ID of the org BUPAGUID as
Businesspartner GUID and Execute

Business area is not assign to gl account

I have Business Area set up in my SAP.
After I done the MB1A (Goods receipt), they will 4 postings created. 3 of then got assigned with the Business Area but one is not.
Why this will happend ? I want all the account / postings be assigned with Business Area.

Activation in Business Content but Not Assign Source System

Hi guys i am using BI 7.0 and i have to activate some infocubes in BC but when i activate them i have no choice for activate the source system asignation and the infopackages too....then i have to activate the standard objects and then manually create the transfer rules and the infopackages....
I have set up the systems which i want to connect in BC screen and i have activated and repeated my datasources.....
I hope somebody could help me with this

Hi Oscar,
Before you transfer your cubes to the right hand side, make sure you have selected the right source system ok. Once you transfer the cube to the RHS, make sure in grouping you select 'In dataflow before'
Once you have done this, IF there is a standard Datasource associated with the BC infocube it will then show up in the hierarchy.
Considering it is there, please activate this Datasource in your source system replicate your source system in BI. Now activate your other objects

I have the same problem.
I have business partners, also created as employees with their user id held in the Identification tab of the employee view in BP.
In the business partner Identification tab, they have the system ID>Installation No>client>user id maintained
When I go into solman_workcenter I see the message 'you are not assigned a business partner' and I cannot see any of the tickets assigned to me.
Has anyone had the same issue and resolved it?

Account assignment not possible (Asset not assigned to a business area)

While posting an asset acquisition through F-90 by entering Business area, doc.type AA,TT-100,PK-70, i am getting the error messege AA483 - "Account assignment not possible (Asset not assigned to a business area)".
I have correctly created asset master and assigned Business area and Cost centre.
And i am not getting any problem in another company code for same asset class.

Assets are assigned to a single business area in their master record. Every posting to an asset balance sheet account is automatically posted to that business area. The business area for an asset is passed on to all line items connected with the asset. Therefore you do not need to make a manual account assignment for a business area at any point.

Error TTB1: You have not assigned business partner B1000 to a customer

Hi,
When trying to post the costs of a forex transaction we receive this error message: You have not assigned business partner B1000 to a customer ; Message no. FLBP116. When posting these costs (on a P&L account) we go through a finance interface to derive a CO object (network activity) from PS. Strange thing is that we don't have this error in Dev or QAS but only in acceptance which is a copy of prod... The interface works fine for costs from guarantees and L/C which goes to an other network activity in PS.
Any recommandations on this? The BP functionality has never been used befor by my customer.

Update in PS was needed...

System not assigned to any business system group

In transaction /SAPAPO/MAT1 an error occurs when I try to create a new product.
Error message: " System SC1CLNT100 not assigned to any business system group".
When I received this error I created business system group in SLD and assigned my system to this new business system group.
Then I went to transaction RZ70 and executed Data Collector without Job scheduling.
But when start transaction /SAPAPO/MAT1 again the error /SAPAPO/MAT030 still occurs.
What should be done to make changes, which I made in SLD visible for the system?

I assume you assigned this BSG in the IMG in APO
"As an independent logical system, the APO System must, in addition to the SAP R/3 Systems, be assigned to a business system group (BSG)."

Hi Raja !
I can understand that you are trying to procure Asset. to calculate depreciation of the asset in the business read you need to assign Account assignment object type for Account assignment object of the Company code.
Procedure is as follows
SPRO-> Financial Accounting> Asset Accounting -> integration with G/L -> Additional Account assignment object---> specify Account assignment object type for Account assignment object

Configuring the time capsule airport wlan function as "connect to wlan", the time caspule gets a correct IP adress from the other wlans IP range, but does not assign this to the ethernet ports. With Airport Express it worked!

Configuring the time capsule airport wlan function as "connect to wlan", the time capsule gets a correct IP adress from the other wlans IP range, but does not assign this to the ethernet ports. With Airport express it worked, the single Ethernet port got the IP Parameters passed through!
My setup is a Vodafon Esaybox connected to ISP. Time Capsule is not able to extend the wlan of the easybox, neither airport express can do.
Only the option "connect to wlan" is succesful.
With airport express I was able to connect my Sony Bravia TV to the lan via ethernet to stream pictures, the TV set got an IP adress from the easybox.
With the time capsule the easybox dosn't find devices connected to the ethernet ports to submit IP adresses. The TV set get another IP adress (169.xxx.x.x.) in subnet mask 255.255.0.0 and I don not now where from.
My notebook is a MacBook pro.
Any idea????

If the AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule are configured to "extend a wireless network" they will provide additional wireless coverage....and...the Ethernet ports are enabled in this type of setup.
The "catch" here is that you must have an Apple router providing the network to be extended.

Trouble configuring BIC2G EE+ Linux vm image; IP address is not assigned

Hi,
I am installing BIC2G EE+ VM Image for Linux OS. I extracted all files and started the VM Image with VMware Workstation. I am getting one error when booting up the image.
"Determining IP information for eth0....Failed". Because of this error, it is not assigning the default ip address 138.2.4.127, so I cannot proceed with bringing BIC2g Launchpad via a host browser session. I am doing this from my home network environment, so I am not sure if this is related to DHCP server in my router. Any help would be appreciated.

I was able to resolve the problem. This wasn't a BIC2G image issue, but a known network issue between VMWare 4 and Red Hat Linux. I found the solution via the following link:
