Business Customer - How can I limit data for employees / users?

Hello,
I am a small business customer and I would like to put a data cap on our company cell phones. Each has an iphone 6 which doesn't have great apps to auto limit data and such after reaching a certain limit. I know Verizon has some services that can do this for the personal accounts but I don't understand why this is not available to the business customers. Sure, I can have them pay for their overages but I would rather just give them a set amount to use and have it stop at that point. Wifi would always be available.

How many emails are we talking about per day? If these are just text emails they should not be taking much more space than just downloading the header would take. Are they a few paragraphs or several pages long?
If they contain attachments, such as pictures, they will take much more room but it should limit how much is loaded and give you an option for downloading the rest of that email.
I asked my neighbor how many emails she gets per day and she said about 20 - 25 and she stays well within her 200Mb.
If you are getting more than this then you really can't afford a smartphone and if you are within your return period you should immediately do so. And I did read your thread.
I'm not sure what purpose there would be to getting headers only. If that is the case get people to text you instead.

SNR License Issue. How Can I Disable SNR for all Users?

I Have an issue with SNR on CUCM 10.5 and with assignement of license type
I have a cluster with 400 users.
200 users use ip phone 3905 and should be use an Essential License.
When system check for assignement of license type , itassign a Basic License instead of an Essential License, because it see that users have SNR Enabled.
All users in my system have SNR enabled, and I can not disable it. All my user have Enable Mobility unchecked, and all my phone have Device Mobility Off, but system however see SNR enable.
How can i disable SNR for all users? This is a feature that client don't need.
I dont' have a sufficent number of licenses for support all 3905 in Basic License.

Well actually, Mobile Identity wouldn't apply to a 3905 unless those phones had another line on a Dual-Mode device like an iPhone or Android phone. So unless you have either of those in your system you can scratch that idea. Someone else may chime in here and try to help a bit more as RD/RDP are the main SNR culprits.

Here is the detailed process as outlined in SAP help.
Procedure
If only a limited set of users is to be able to post in a particular posting period, proceed as follows:
Add the posting period authorization (authorization object F_BKPF_BUP) to the authorizations of the selected users. Assign an authorization group (e.g. '0001').
Enter the account type '+' for the posting period variant to which the restriction is to apply. Enter the period(s) whose use is to be restricted in the first period, those which are available to all users in the second period, and the authorization group (e.g. '0001') in the last column.
Examples
A posting period can be successively restricted. If, e.g. 10 users have the posting period authorization with authorization group '0001', and 3 of these 10 users also with authorization group '0002'.
If the period is only to be accessible to the 10 selected users the authorization group '0001' is entered in the posting period variant. Access can later be restricted to the remaining 3 users by entering '0002'.

Yoel -
We're talking about end users of applications you develop in Application Express, not users that login to the development environment.
You do not have to use Application Express to create user accounts for your application. Your apps can authenticate using SSO, LDAP, or other methods. If you use Application Express user accounts, that is only for convenience which may not be convenient in the long run if you have to manage those accounts, but that's up to you.
These Application Express accounts have no relation to database accounts. This situation is slightly different when using the XE database.
Your application's authorization logic determines which users can access the application, pages, or other components, that is, it is not the user account properties, per se, that control application access but rather the application's determination about the properties of the authenticated account in use that allow it to control access. For example, you don't create an account and give it attributes that say this user can access application ABC and pages 1,2, and 7. Instead, you might give that account properties like SALES MANAGER ROLE and the the application would allow only users with SALES MANAGER ROLE (whatever that means) to access certain pages.

SEM-BPS how to load additional data for special users at runtime?

Let´s assume you have a transactional info cube which contains SD Data from the source system.
If you want to show additional data, let´s say the attributes of the sold materials which can be read in the table MARA of the source system (provided you use R/3, etc.)
and you only want to show this data for a small amount of users, which need to see it, then i wonder how to do this.
am i right, that i can use the exit functions to init key figures, i.e. i could write some code which connects to the source system over RFC, downloads the data at runtime and presents it at the users excel sheet????
moreover, is it necessary to extend the existing cube, just to achieve this aim?

Hello Gideon,
there's no need to program anything. You can display any attribute in planning layouts. In your case you would extract the master data from material from SAP R/3 (MARA) into BW. The setup the layout to show the required attribute(s) in the layout in BPS.
If the attribute is relevant only for a specific user group, just give them access to this "special" layout (create a planning folder or web interface for this group).

How can I use Itunes for different users on the same PC

I have itunes loaded with my full library. I have now created a second user account on my computer for someone else to access, and I want them to be able to access the full library which I have (4500 songs). How can I do this. Currently, when I open itunes in the other user's desktop, it is completely empty. I did try ticking share my music under preferences, but the library has still not appeared.... I know this must be an easy one, but if someone could help me because I must be a bit dim...........many thanks.

Regd : How to find Validity date for a user in central user system

Hi Experts;
I want to get the list of users with profile SAP_ALL with following details like validity ,user type ,user name ,user id..
I can get through SUIM for each individual systems.Its very difficult to login to each system ,generate the report.So I prefered to go for Central system
But if I use central user system I have no option to find validity and user type for the system ( SUIM - > Cross system application )
I have also tried to the table USRO2 ( which gives only the list of users in the central system )
So is there any possible ways to find the Users with profile SAP _ALL with validity date in the central user system. So that I can easily generate it as one report instead of logging to each and every system

I can execute the report by logging to each child system ,but it takes very long hours for me since there are many system in my landscape.

How can I configure EP for when user couldn't logon on if a session exists?

I need configure on SAP EP this condition, but I don't know how can I do it?
1. User 1, logon to SAP EP on computer 1.
2. Then the user changes the ubication, then the user try to logon on computer 2, when he try to log on SAP EP. It returns and error because, a session of logon is on.
Note: SAP EP can't permit, that any user can logon for more two times on server.

I don't think you can quiet achive that. Reason being portal is a stateless. That means when you make initial request to portal, make a logon and then land at the page having some roles, navigation menus, content area etc all it store is a cookie. It neither store any information of who has just logged on nor who navigated from Role A to Role B.
When you navigate through TLN or call an iView, portal consider it as a new request. This time too portal does not know who has made a request. Now the question is how does it know if a specific iView is to be displayed as it is assigned to you or not? This is done using a cookie named saplogon ticket. When you make a request inside portal, all it have is this cookie and no information of who you are? So it just checks the cookie for the authorization and OKs the request and hence you get access to iView or a role or whatever.
Now coming back to your scenario, when user has already logged on from computer 1, say saplogon ticket1 is created and is used for further navigation and authnetication. However, when you try to logon from computer 2, your portal session does not have any information about saplogon ticket1, instead it generates its own cookie say saplogon ticket2.
That means, portal cannot retain the state of the earlier request made by you from computer 1.
I hope this clears your question.

In Powerdesigner repository, can we limit access for any user to one particular model?

I have this requirement in Powerdesigner repository to setup a user and give him/her access to check in and check out only one model? In otherwords, when he logs into repostiory, he can't see any other folders except the folder that was assigned to him?
Is there a way to do this in the Powerdesigner tool.?

Step #1
a) Connect as ADMIN
b) In Menu go to Repository=>Administration=>Users
c) Add user MYUSER
Step #2
a) In the Repository define a folder, example MYFOLDER
b) Right click on the folder MYFOLDER
c) Select folder permission and add MYUSER to MYFOLDER and give permission WRITE access
Step #3
a) Log into the repository by using your new user MYUSER
b) Check-in a model under MYFOLDER
b) Go to Repository : As you can see you can access models under the folder MYFOLDER
c) You can see others folders (Because by default all folders are displayed as "List" for all users (PUBLIC) but your user MYUSER can't see the objects contained into the others folders.

I'm going to Fort Lauderdale, FLA and want to data service for my iPhone ( navigation using google or imaps, browsing and voip ing when no wi fi available). I browsed the net but seems almost impossible. When I visited Toronto I was able to get data thru Koodo but I don't think this is offered in the USA. I have two teenagers with no taste in music, my wife who appreciates Abba my own music to manage across a fleet of devices. My kids dont like Ozarks or Pink Floyd, and I would rather skin myself with a cheese grater than have One direction on my phone. After researching through the forums, I figured it out. You have to make sure you are logged in under the same account on both computers. At first I was logged under my account on my computer and logged in under my father's account on my father's computer. You have to choose one account to log in under on both computers and then you will be abler to import songs from both computers. If you do not log in under the same account, you will be able to listen to both computers' music, but not import.

I just purchase my ipad2 2 days ago. yesterday, there was a sound. today there is no sound. there is a sound only in movies and you tube and music. but no sound on all apps and keyboards. 64-bit version of Data Services is not there for windows 64 - bit platforms
you have to use the 32-bit version of Data Services on 64-bit windows platform
you will need the 32 -bit client version of the database clients that you plant ot use with Data Services
