Business Event to be recorded as Qualification automatically

Hi Gurus
If I have to record the Business Event as a qualification automatically when the trainee is booked for the event and the Business Event is firmly booked, is there any SPRO setting I have to make?

Hi,
As far as I know, I don't think there is any config available to directly get the Business event to work as Qualification when an attendee is booked under it.
You will have to create the qualification object Q in the Qualification catalog and attach it to the Business event type for that Business event.

Hi Expert,
In the follow up business event, I want to transfer qualification to attendee with the start and end date of business event. For example, the business event date is held on 07.05.2007 11.05.2007 and the qualification will be given to all attendees by t-code: PV15. By standard the start and end date of given qualification is 11.05.2007 31.12.9999. My intention is to give the date as 07.05.2007 11.05.2007 instead. Is there any solution?
Here is the background of the question. We migrated the training history record from legacy system in to SAP and stored it as qualification, and start and end date of qualification are the duration of (start/end date) of training course.

Sorry my English is not well. I'll tried.
Our training process like this. When any employee who has attended the training course, he/she will be given the qualification according to the particular course. The qualification should be dated the same as the duration of training course. For example, the Techinical English course is held on 07.05.2007 - 11.05.2007. When the courese is finished, the user will do the follow-up activities by using T-code PV15. By default, the start date of given qualification is 11.05.2007 and end date is 31.12.9999. But our intention is to give the start date of assigned qualification as 07.05.2007 - 11.05.2007.
There is any user exit available to do that?

Historical Record flag set when creating business event type

Hi all
One of our users created a business event type using the master data catalogue. There was a pre-existing group and the event type was created one level down from the group.
Once the event type was created and he tried to edit it he got an error message that said that the object has a historical record flag. This is also indicated in the table (HRP1000-HISTO). He then tried to recreate the course again with the same result.
I have not been able to find where this is set (only found something under follow-up activities which is not relevant to this case). Can anyone help please - how is this setting made? Any ideas if it can be removed?

Export business event and qualification catalogs to excel

Hi,
I want to either run a report to list all the qualifications in the qualification catalog and export to excel or somehow copy/export the qualifications directly from the qualification catalog to Excel. I would also like to do the same for the business event catalogue. We have the TEM (training and event management) module.
Does anyone know how to do this?

Or go to the table as explained by praneeth,
For exporting to excel:
Goto menu bar--> System--> List--> Save--> Local File
Select spreadsheet in radio button. Click on tick. Save in the required path and name the file as required.

Dear Professionals,
I did the following;
Created a Skill
Assigned to Employee with Minimum Level
Assigned to Position as required skill with expert level
When I running GAP analysis it's showing as GAP
Created a Business Type
Maintained relationship IMPART for the above created skill
Maintained Procedure for qualification transfer
Create Business Event
Book Employees and Firmly Booked
But still Skill is not reflecting in employees qualification...
Kindly advice if I need to do anything more

Upload for Training and Events Business Event

Hi all,
I am new to HR.
I need to update training and event with external data. Once a month I recive the data in a file. But how can I do this using ABAP?
The file consists of the following fields...

The procedure i have to follow is.....
1.A event of business occurs on xxxxx date with object type E, and with object type id - example like sobid
2.A list of employees P or H is provided to be booked against. Once booked , the business event date is firmly booked.
3.A followup action is then conducted on Business Event date. A competency rating is then captured for those who attended.
Once this information is saved, it passes the qualification for those who attended to 0024 infotype.
Then in the follow up screen(PV15 Tcode) go into an individuals record in the qualification overview and capture assessment details in the notes section of the selected qualification
Please let me know its urgent....

Training and Event Management Business Events

Hi Experts,
I would like to know if there is any BAPI/ FM available to create a Business Event Under particular Busness Group and Type.
I have Some more things to have a clarification on
1. When we create Business Event in PV10, Where all the data is stored? is there any master table which holds the all values in that screen? or values are stored in separate tables? if they are in separate tables, may i now what are them and the associated infotypes also.
I debugged the Tcode to find out which FM?BAPI is getting Called while saving the data, but could not find the exact one
Please let me know the FM/BAPI to create a business Event

Standard Business Event issue in SOA.

Hi,
I created a subscription in SOA for the standard business event (*oracle.apps.jtf.cac.task.updateTask*) using Oracle Apps Adapter. When the event is fired in the Oracle EBusiness Suite, I am expecting SOA to capture the payload and create an instance. The instances are not created.
This is the workaround I did to check if the events are firing or not.
1. Whenever a standard business event is fired, we can see a record in WF_DEFERRED queue. In this case too, I am able to see the record.
2. From WF_DEFERRED, the data should flow into WF_BPEL_Q. I am unable to see a record in this table in my case.
Which mean the events are firing but SOA is unable to capture the events. I tried to raise a JAVA event in the Oracle EBusiness Suite's workflow manager and SOA was able to capture the payload and an instance was created in weblogic EM. But when I update the task in the Oracle EBS, SOA is not able to capture the payload.
Any inputs to fix this issue is greatly appreciated. Please help.

Business Event Content.in TEM

Dear All,
When a Business Event is created in Training & Event Management module, we find that there is a
an option called " Further Information " to enter CONTENS of the Business Event. I would like to know the significance of the " CONTENTS " data entered here.
I would also like to know if we can call this data in the NOTIFICATIONS which will be sent to an Attendees.Is it possible? If yes what is the procedure to configure this scenario?

Business Event when Sales Order is Booked....Custom Business Requirement

Hello,
I have business requirement like when a sales order line is booked/ Item is Received in Inventory/ Line is Cancelled , I need to update quantity,price for that customer and item# in a custom table.
So what is the best approach to do it..Is it making use of business events or Alerts or any other approach?
If business events, can you please tell me what are the business events and how to find out event parameters for the following
1. When Sales order Line is Booked
2. When Item is Received in Inventory
3. When Account Alias Receipt is Done in Inventory

I don't recommend alert as the alert is fired during every record update. If you have modified the OM workflow, then you can achieve your requirement by adding a new node/function in the workflow to update the custom table.

Raising Outbound Business Events

Hi,
Records are not inserted into the queue when the Business event is fired in Oracle MRP. It creates record in the Deferred queue when the users are created and updated in MRP, but when we try to modify or create a component of the BOM, Oracle MRP doesn’t create record in the queue table. Do we need to do some settings in Oracle eBS to achieve this.
When we create/update BOM it does not write any thing to the queue.
We need to subscribe/listen to Outbound Business Events using Oracle APPS adapter and move it to BPEL Process.

Autocreate task raise business event oracle.apps.jtf.cac.task.createTask?

How can I check if event oracle.apps.jtf.cac.task.createTask was raised when a task was created?
This event will raise every time a task is created independent of which process created the task? I mean if the task was automatically created when SR is created or if the task is manually created?
How can I test this business event manually?
In our environment (EBS 11.5.10.2) there are following subscriptions to this business event:
CS_SR_SECURITY_UTIL.SECURE_SR_TASK_OWNER
jtf_task_wf_subscribe_pvt.create_task_notif_subs
CS_SR_CHILD_AUDIT_PKG.CS_SR_Audit_ChildEntities
I have added subscription xxcsf_002_wf_subscribe_pkg.create_task, which calls to function (create_task) in a DB package (xxcsf_002_wf_subscribe_pkg). The first thing I do, before anything else, is logg to a custom table the event of entering the package function but then when task is created in "Enter Request Service" form nothing is logged in the custom table.
What am I doing worng? Thanks in advance for the help!

The sql returned 0 so that means the event is not fired. How do I make it fire. Isn't it standard? Is there some setup I have to do or enabled somewhere? I have this requierement to create automatically an assignment for tasks automatically created when SR is created in Field Service Technician Portal. I thought I could create the assignment when this business event is raised, which means a task is being created and validating where it is originated from (WEB). I need to set scheduled dates for the task as well. I appreciate the help in this. I would like to use the business event to call on a package function but it is not being fired.

TEM Business event problem

Hi Experts,
I need help regarding TEM - Business Events.
In the Dynamic Attendance Menu (PSV1) interface, when I check for the Attendee List, the Cost Center column does not appear.(Cost center of each attendee) How do i make it appear? This is also the case when I use report RHXTEILN.
The attendees were booked using Booking with Allocation, so the fee and the cost center is already recorded.
2nd Problem
An emplyee was in the same BE but when I looked it up on the Attendee list, the record of the employee under column ∑Bookings is 0. All the others are 1.
The fee is also 00.00. What could have gone wrong?

Thanks for your reply. Problem no. 1 is solved.
2) When you right-click on the business event where the employee was booked, there is an option called "Attendee List". When you chose this option, the list of Employees booked for that particular Business event is shown along with the columns Attendee Name, ∑Bookings, BP, Booking Date, Org Assignment, Cost Center, etc.
Under ∑Bookings column one attendee has a "0", all the other attendees has 1. What are the possible cause of this?
Also the number of booked attendees is counted incorrectly. Even if there are only 4 booked persons, 5 are displayed since the booking of 1 person is not counted. (value is 0)

Business Events Data Not Dequeuing

Hi ,
We would like to capture a few business events in oracle BOM and PO that are of interest to us. In order to do this,
we deploy oracle SOA composite with BEPL in the Oracle Fusion Middleware Control. The oracle SOA composite is configured for a particular outbound business event. It should listens on a specific queue WF_BPEL_Q or WF_BPEL_QTAB and de-queues the messages from that Oracle Queue or Oracle AQ Table. In jDeveloper 11g we created a SOA project with oracle applications adapter partner link and a BPEL Process with a receive acvity.
Specifically we are trying to capture the business outbound event oracle.apps.bom.component.modified just to get the event data in this receive.
Partner link configuration: We added the database connection to the oracle EBS instance. Tested it and we
succeded. Chose ANY_SCHEMA in partner link configuration.
We ensured that the JNDI Name here( eis/Apps/Apps ) match the JNDI name provided in the weblogic-->Deployments--
OracleAppsAdapter -->Configuration --> Outbound Connection Pools. For this outbound resource pool, Connection factory interface was javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory. Property name xADataSourceName was mapped to JNDI name of the configured JDBC datasource in the weblogic. When we created the connection pool. We tested and it worked fine. This data source had the connection pool configured to the oracle applications schema with APPS user.
After adding the partner link with the above configuration, we added a receive. We deployed this configuration to the middleware. We went to the oracle EBS modified a BOM component and we expected to having running BPEL instances against the deloyed composite. However, the problem is we are not having any running instance for the composite.
We found that there are entries in the view AQ$WF_BPEL_QTAB with an ENQ_TIME and ENQ_TIMESTAMP but with no DEQ_TIME or DEQ_TIMESTAMP. The ENQ_TIMESTAMP corresponds to the time we modified BOM in oracle BOM forms/Designer and MSG_STATE is READY
The data is being written in WF_BPEL_QTAB for the BOM changes but not getting dequeued by oracle applications adapter/composites deployed in soa server.
Please help me it quite urgent.
Is there anything we are missing on EBS side to be activited for the events to be dequeued

I am able to dequeue the data using manual event testing button. BPEL instance are being created now.
But now no records are being inserted in WF_BPEL_QTAB if i change any Oracle BOM component using Oracle EBS which was working till yesterday.
In morning there were more than 100 records in WF_BPEL_QTAB as i have tested so many time changing bom component. I used this script

Problem Description
we need to listen to the outbound business events of Oracle EBS for BOM/PO modules .
we have created a subscription for the oracle.apps.bom.component.modified by using Oracle Apps Adapter in SOA Suite.
1.
When we are testing oracle.apps.bom.component.modified from(Business Events--Events ---TestBusiness Events) by giving
dummy event key , send date, and xml payload and then click on Rainse in Java.
Then a two records are being created in WF_BPEL_QTAB table and are getting polled by Oracle Apps adapter and two BPEL Instances
are being created in SOA Suite showing the dummy payload which we entered while doing Business Event testing sigle time only.
No record is being created in WF_BPEL_QTAB of oracle EBS if we hit Raise in PL/SQL. tab while doing manual event testing.
2.
If we open Oracle BOM form(Responsibilty-Bills of Material -Bills -Bills of Material SV1) and change the component and save it.
No record entry/data is being created in WF_BPEL_QTAB of Oracle EBS .
Why there is no record entry being created when we change any component from Oracle BOM Form.

Raise Business Events based on condition.

Hi,
Is there a way to raise a Seeded Business event(oracle.apps.jtf.cac.task.updateTask) based on a condition. I want to raise the business event only if there is a update on a certain type of records( if attribute1 is not null or something like that).
Is that posiible?? I DO NOT want to use triggers because that will defeat the purpose of using Business Events.
Also what are the various parameters used for some of the seeded Business Events.

It works like this:
Raising an event is nothing but sending a message to "some one". A message should have content. Parameters are like content of the message. Also the parameters contain who and when they sent it.
"someone" in this phrase is event subscription (subscriber). This someone, while consuming this message, perform the duty you asked them to do (like executing pl/sql code or start workflow so on). To perform this duty they also need to some information which is in the 'content' of your message.
Hence the parameters are very specific to the person who raised the event and who is consuming it.
Every task update will raise an event (like sending a letter) provided the event and subscriptions are enabled. Everyone of these letters will contain task number you just updated.
task1 updated ---event raised --parameter will have task1
task2 update -- event raised--parameter will have task2 and so on.
If you want specific logic raising conditionally, you need to create your own event and raise that event either using trigger or user hooks.
