Business Intelligence Publisher scheduling issue

Hi ,
I need to schedule 74 reports at a particular time (pre determined) and export it in excel format to an FTP location.
I face a lot of issues while scheduling reports.
1. The environment is very very slow.
2. Scheduling each report itself takes huge time.
3. At certain point of time , when i try to schedule a report we get an error message
"Job scheduling failed because the user has no permission to access this report".
But when i try for the second time , i am able to schedule the report.
4. Even when i schedule a set of reports at a pre defined time , only few reports succeed(excel file present in FTP Location) while a majority of reports fail.
BIP does not provide us the option to see the error message for the failed reports.
I just want to know whether is it possible to schedule a set of reports as a whole in one shot in BIP?
If so please let me know . If not , please guide me to overcome this issue.

Have to see you r configuration and settings.
Which server re you using ?
OC4j ?
which os ?
scheduler is Oracle DB ?
you server is too busy to process the reports.,i guess, you have to scale the server well.

Dears,
I followed up exactly the unifier installation documents, as well as the Configuring the BI Publisher for Unifier.
And Once I am trying to enter the BI Publisher data in the Unifier Configuration i get an error message "TEST FAILED Connection couldn't be established"
I am also confused which port to use, i tried both and both gave error:
BIP Endpoint URL: http://localhost.com:9704 and I tried " http://localhost.com:7001"

First question is do you have BI Publisher installed and running?
If so then test if you can get to a login screen with one of the following URLs:
http://localhost:7001
http://localhost:9704

Hi
During the install did you opt for the OC4J install rather than to an existing web server? Im assuming yes, you would have had to provide the user/pwd for the OC4J container - so that could be the issue. In my desperation in the past I have just killed the oc4j session, ps -ef | grep java will find it.
When you bring it back up, it recovers very nicely with no ill affects.

Daily Business Intelligence Administrator

Iam newbie to DBI.
I have gone through the DBI implementation guide and tried to create a new report.
Created a report and published it.
In the process of creating Initial Request set (in Daily Business Intelligence Administrator), could not find the report (that I have developed in Daily Business Intelligence Designer) in Generate Request set window.
Any help is highly appreciated.

Oracle Business Intelligence - Past Due Schedule Value Aging report

Hi,
I am a beginner in Oracle Business Intelligence. There is an issue with 'Past Due Schedule Value Aging' report
[this report displays order lines that are booked, but not yet fulfilled, and the date past the schedule ship date.].
Actually, the report is supposed to ignore the order lines that have been 'cancelled' (having a quantity of '0').
But, it is displaying the 'cancelled' lines as well.
I am supposed to analyze entire logic for 'Past Due Schedule Value Aging' report (Oracle Supply Chain - Release 12).
So, could anybody please provide the list of the steps to get the entire code? Also, please let me know if I am supposed
to install any specifc tool to look into the content of this report.

Integration of Oracle BI Publisher with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterp

Hi,
I have started the tutorial " Integration of Oracle BI Publisher with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterp" today but got stuck at the very first step.
The tutorial shows that I can see "SH" and "CountryManagers" in the shared folder but I only see the Paint Demo rpd.
I previously completed the "Creating a Repository Using the Oracle Business Intelligence Administration Tool " tutorial.
Do I need to learn anything prior to this tutorial .
I already have the default rpd as SH in NQSConfig.ini
Please suggest.

I have tried restarting OC4J and Oracle BI Server.
Is there someplace where we need to put the rpd so that it appears in the shared folders.

Issue in ATG integration with Oracle Business Intelligence

I am setting Oracel Business Intelligence up for Oracle ATG 10.1.
I am using CRS application to populate data to Data warehouse schema. I can see all components like generating log files, loading log file in to database are working file. I can see data in DW schema. I am using completely ATG's default implementation; I have not made any customization so far.
Here is environment details:
OS : Windows 7 (64 bit)
ATG : 10.1
JBoss : jboss-eap-5.1
JDK : 1.6.0_25-b06

1.) DW schema in Oracle (‘Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64bit Production’).
2.) This is for every ATG's analysis. I have not authored anything custom.
I am sure connection information is correct in ATG.RPD file. I used to get different error like incorrect login or unable to connect if it was wrong and those are no more, So I
believe connection URL is correct. I am not sure if need disable/enable something or do some specific configuration in DB connection in ATG.RPD.

Project Server 2010 Business Intelligence performance issue

Hello,
We've setup a Project Server 2010 Business intelligence center and everything seems to be working fine.
The next day when users attempt to open Sample reports an error occurs that when we apply the "refresh all Data connections" a couple of times everything works fine.
How do we ensure that this strange issue of "fake un-related" errors are not occuring for users.
Once the BI is accessed by a few people then the reports seem to work the first time otherwise if you are the first one running them in the morning you have to retry 4 to 5 times for the excel spreadsheet to show up?

locked out.

Business Intelligence, oc4j url error in CentOS 5

Hi ALL,
I have installed oracle business intelligence successfully in centos 5.
i started the BI process and after that
i started the ./oc4j -start and i think it started successfully
i got something like this as at the end after executing ./oc4j -start
- Job execution threads will use class loader of thread: OC4J Launcher
- Quartz Scheduler v.1.5.1 created.
- RAMJobStore initialized.
- Quartz scheduler 'DefaultQuartzScheduler' initialized from default resource file in Quartz package: 'quartz.properties'
