Business Line URGENT

Hi guys
A local business is closing down next week and im iterested in taking over the shop they have, however I would like to keep their existing number. I have contacted the exisiting tenants of the shop and they said they would not sign the number over to me and were simply going to cancel their contract with BT. I was wondering if there would be anyway of BT securing me the same number for the same building the min they cancel the contract with BT? Hope you can help asap x

This is a bt residential forum you really need to contact bt business with your needs however i think you will be unlikely to be able to take over the number

This entirely a business and consulting decision. In general its good to have different templates for bulk fuels, Crudes, Packed lubes/Gas, and aviation. This still depends on the volume of business in a particular line.

Delay with installation of business line

I have to say I am absolutely shocked by the poor service I have experienced from BT and its sad that such a huge corporation has so many unsatisfied customers.
I have been trying to have my business line installed since September. Its been connected at the exchange but no connection within the building. Thats all they need to do then put a socket on the second floor. My landlord has done the cabling for them as they refused. I have had 3 enginners all of which have done nothing and majority walked off the job. I am at the end of my tether and will be complaining to OFCOM and consider legal action.

Busy Line Issue

Dear Experts,
I need your help to solve some Busy Line issue, the pig issue here is when anyone call a busy line, he will not know if the called number is busy or not.
So could you please tell me if I can solve this issue? of course I know that I can put the Busy Trigger = 1, but I need the called busy person to see who is trying to call him.

You will want to check your No answer ring duration, Maximum number of calls, and busy triggers.

Linksys SPA3102, busy line on incoming calls

Hi there,
I'm trying to set this device up in this specific scenario:
- PSTN: 1st incoming call, the user gets it.
- PSTN: 2nd incoming call, but the 1st call is still ongoing.
Actual result: 2nd incoming call obtains ring tones, and he/she thinks there is nobody home
Desired result: 2nd incoming call obtains busy line tone, and he/she thinks there is somebody home and is busy
Is this device able to do this?, any tip about which configuration parameter should I change?

N71 freezes when calling busy line

Hi,
I am witnissing since several months the fact, that when I call a busy line, I hear the occupied or line busy signal, then my N71 by itself closes the connection but the busy tone keeps on beeping for up to 3 minutes and all other phone functions freeze. no matter what I do, the phone does not react at all. Very recently I updated the OS, but no change so far.
Does anybody have an idea, what this could be?

I had this problem for years with my N95, N96, E71. To fix this simply turn off automatic redialling. I appreciate this info is probably no more use to you now as you posted the problem in 2007, but it is an ongoing problem so I thought I'd put up the solution for others to see!

Enhancement Summary
Two user exits are needed to determine the correct G/L Account and Cost Center on Shipment Cost documents and post the Material Group on the Accounting document. BADI_SCD_ACCTG and Business Event 1120P can be used to accommodate the new functionality.
Business Process
Specific G/L Accounts and Cost Centers have to be determined to post on the Shipment Cost document. This is needed to provide accurate management reporting capabilities on shipments for Sales Order or Stock Transfer Order. A new custom table must be created which contains the following information: Distribution, Mode of Transport, Account, Cost Center Material group. Distribution is an identifier here if this shipment originated from an SO or STO.
There are no screens involved in this enhancement.

User exit BADI BADI_SCD_ACCTG will be used to determine the correct G/L Account, Cost Center and Product Group based on Distribution and Mode of Transport. This BADI gets called only when a new Shipment Cost document get created.
Once the BADI determined the new values it populates field c_vfkn-sakto with the G/L account, field c_vfkn-kostl with the Cost Center and exports the Product group to memory.
There is no field on the Shipment Cost Document to store the Product group. Therefore another mechanism must be used to get the Product Group on the accounting document.
Business Event 1120P can be used to import the Product group out of memory and put it on BSEG-MATNR. Structure BSEG_SUBST must be enhanced with field MATNR for this purpose.

BADI_SCD_ACCTG     Business Add-In for Shipment Cost Account Assignment
Business Framework     Business Event 1120P can be used to import the Product Group from memory and to populate field BSEG_SUBST-MATNR.
This event gets called from different places. It needs to be ensured that it only populates the value when it was called from BADI_SCD_ACCTG.
Custom Table     A look-up Table needs to be maintained for Distribution, Mode of Transport, G/L Account, Cost Center and Material Group
Transaction code     To maintain the new table
Append Structure     To enhance structure BSEG_SUBST with MATNR
      Business Add-In BADI_SCD_ACCTG can be used to determine the account assignments for a shipment cost item to set the G/L Account and Cost Center. All data needed to determine the new information gets provided in this BADI.
Logic:
     Determine if STO or SO based on Document Category from internal table I_REFOBJ-VTRLP field VGTYP If is C then Distribution type is Sales Order (Primary and Secondary Excluding Refinery 2 ) else we need to check the receiving plant. If the receiving plant (I_REFOBJ-VTRLK field WERKS) is a refinery the Distribution type is Primary (1) else its a (Primary and Secondary Excluding Refinery 2 ). Refineries can be identified via Function Module ZPLANTCLASSIFICATION. The plant must be passed into Import Parameter IP_SAPPLANT and field INT_PLANTCHAR-ATNAM must be looked up with value SAPTYPE. If it exists and field ATWRT contains RFY, the plant is a refinery.
     Product Group can be determined from the Material master through Material group field MARA-MATKL.
     Mode of Transport will be passed in the BADI in VTRLK-OIC_MOT.
     Select single entry from table ZTABLE1based on Distribution, Mode of Transport and Material Group. If nothing gets selected, error message No entry exists in table ZTABLE1for Distribution (distribution), MOT (MOT) & Mat. Group (material group) should be triggered.
     Move ZTABLE1-SAKNR to c_vfkn-sakto and ZTABLE1-KOSTL to c_vfkn-kostl
     The Material group must be exported to memory in BADI_SCD_ACCTG
     The Material group must be imported from memory in Business Event BP1120P

Business Line & BB : not connected and no answers

after 10 letters , 10 texts and 10 phone calls from BT reminding my of the appointment , you have done nothing.
No engineer , no connection and no answers.
we have a shop opening which has been based on BT coming to connect a phone line & Fireoptic BB which will run all our systems online and we are now all standing looking at each other wondering how this could be any worse.
All i am being told is that we will get an update next week which is unacceptable.
I need answers so we can at least work to a plan. Please PLEASE advise!

Busy line when callin my online number

Hi,
I have a skype number and I'm using Dual Phone. A while ago I've noticed that nobody can call me on my skype number - the line is busy. I found a trick on Skype pages that I should turn off and turn on the skypein calls from ananymus people (detailed describtion below). But it didn't work for me. Could you please help me? I donn't know how to fix this... Since couple of weeks nobody can call me directly on my skype number.

Skype for Windows
In Skype select Tools > Options
Click the Privacy tab, then under Allow calls to my Online Number(s) from… select anyone, and click Save.
If the privacy settings were already configured like this, complete the two steps below to refresh the settings.
Go back to the Privacy tab by selecting Tools > Options and change the privacy settings to allow calls to Online Number(s) from phone numbers in my Contact list only and click Save.
Wait approximately 5 minutes then open the privacy settings once more and change the setting back to anyone andSave.

I have the same problem since friday 11.11 and tried all the things support wrote me but still not working. Last mail i got from support is from friday 18. that they are working on the problem.... but untill now still nobody can call me. Skype to skype works but the online number no go. The problem is not in your computer, i'm sure they have a bug in there server software.

o Financial Accounting (FI). A business area is an organizational unit within financial accounting which represents a separate area of operations or responsibilities within an organization. Financial accounting transactions can be allocated to a specific business area.

Portal Business Package URGENT ( I award Good points)

Dear Portal Gurus,
When I'm importing a business package there is an option which says "Client" / "Server"
Can anyone explain to me what each mean and when to use them.

JEditorPane clicked line (urgent !!!)

I want to find which line is clicked when i click onto a text in a JEditorPane.How can I do it?

Assuming you have a text document and not an HTML document, try:
** Return the current line number at the Caret position.
public static int getLineAtCaret(JTextComponent component)
     int caretPosition = component.getCaretPosition();
     Element root = component.getDocument().getDefaultRootElement();
     return root.getElementIndex( caretPosition ) + 1;
}
