Business Package Business productivity pack

Hi,
   I have already installed and configured business package for CRM 4.0 60.2.3 in my portal. I just want to know that if it is really required to install and configure Business Productivity Pack (60.1) and also Business productivity pack SAP R/3 Integration (60.1 along with my business package.
I mean is it mandatory to install these two business packages along with or is it just an extra functionality (worksets and iviews) that comes with this two business packages.
could someone please help me in this regard to enlighten me..

Hi Koduru,
My understanding of the business productivity package is as follows:
You can use the both the CRM Business Package and the Business Productivity Package together or use them standalone.
The Business Productivity Pack is a EP6.0 package whereas the Business Package 60.2.x is based on EP5.0 migrated content.
You would import them together because there are some roles in the CRM Business Package which are not available in the Business Productivity Pack.
You will find that the roles in the Business Productivity Pack are prefixed with the following: 'com.ssap.pct.crm.v02.'
I have been using the roles with the 'v02' prefix assuming they are the latest ones.

    Hi I installed CRM Business package and it came with some out of box roles (for ex: com.sap.pct.crm.CampaignManager). Now If I install Business Productivity pack, which comes with few roles for instance, com.sap.pct.crm.v02.campaignmanager, which Role I should assign to an campaign manager user.
    1. If I assign both the roles to Campaign Manager user, should I do the merging manually?

    Hi Shiva, you can rename and merge manually as you want.
    Into the role, in the properties of the folder marked as "entry point" you'll be able to set the merge values and the priority that this folder'll be showed.

  • Live Office missing from Productivity pack

    Hi Experts, I see that when I'm trying to install Productivity Pack, it doesn't have "Live Office" and "QaaWs" while I am looking at the "Getting Started" document, I see that they're supposed to be a part of this installation. Am I missing something here? Am I looking at the wrong documentation? Please guide.

    This is what is listed in the "xir2pp_Getting Started_en" guide:
    "Productivity Pack release
    The BusinessObjects XI Release 2 Productivity Pack release includes the
    following installation packages:
    u2022 Productivity Pack
    Includes Business Process BI Services, Content Search, and Voyager
    u2022 Live Office for Productivity Pack
    u2022 Query as a Web Service for Productivity Pack"
    But when I click on setup.exe and it shows the components, it only shows
    - Business Process BI Services
    - Content Search and
    - Voyager
    and I do not see Live Office and QaaWs as is listed here. Can anybody guide me on this?

    AugustineHi - the source code isn't read in from a file by the database, it's actually stored in the database itself (have a look at the user_source view). Now you may have text files backups of your source code, that have been used previously to create the packages, but the database won't store any info about the file used to do this.

  • Mail app memory leak affecting business productivity

    Ever since upgrading both my 27" iMac (late 2012, i7, 3.4 Ghz, 32 Gb RAM, 3 Tb hybrid HDD) and my 15" MBP (late 2011, i7, 2.5 Ghz, 8 Gb RAM, 750 Gb HDD) using Mail has become almost impossible. Both machines experience severe memory issues when using Mail. It is not uncommon that Mail hogs between 90 and 95 Gb of memory (seen in Activity Monitor). The app crashes several times every day, sometimes multiple times per hour.
    Going on more than four weeks since the upgrade and the problem started, this is really affecting my business productivity.
    I have tried many of the suggested solutions found on different forums, e.g. checking for add-ons, which I don't have. Also checking my one GoDaddy account settings which is using IMAP port 993 and never changed during installation, which some have experiences. Use SSL is checked.
    Today Mail crashed multiple times and a 49 page crash report was generated.
    I need this issue solved. If anyone has a real solution, I would greatly appreciate if it could be shared here.

    I don't know if there's a "real" solution yet. There seems to be a very specific problem with the Mail application and GoDaddy's IMAP service. That it happens _only_ with GoDaddy would maybe indicate that the GoDaddy server is doing something strange (i.e. operating differently to other IMAP servers), and whatever it's doing causes Mail to go berserk.
    Probably best to sit tight and hope that Apple fixes this in an OS X release. It seems like in the past there has been a first update out around a month give or take after an OS release, so fingers crossed.
    Stuff you could probably do in the interim:
    * Disable the GoDaddy IMAP account in Mail and use their webmail
    * Use another IMAP client (Mailmate looks nice) in 30-day trial mode and hope it gets you through
    There are probably more options, but they're all variations on the same theme.

    We have deployed the Business Productivity Package for CRM on EP 6.0 S09 and am having some trouble connecting some of the iViews to our backend SAP CRM 4.0 instance. ISA is also installed on the same J2EE as the Portal as per an SAP note.
    I have configured the XCM for ISAUSERADM properly as I believe, chosing the "isauseradmWithPortal" option under application configurations. The JCO test shows all green as well to the backend SAP CRM System.
    There is one iView called "Users" which, we presume, will enable the managing of users in the backend SAP CRM system. The iView's key property is "/useradmin/preparemain.do" and when we execute it the response is one of three at random:
    1. just blank page
    2. Runtime Errors please contact administrator with link to /isauseradm/useradmin/init.do
    3. Your session is no longer valid. Log on again. with a link to http://tekteam.wdf.sap.corp:1080/isa.40.consISA.htm
    I am unable to find any documentation on this or discussion threads and would greatly appreciate any help here.

  • Publishing SCORM Productivity Pack files to Repository Explorer - Error

    We have recently started using SAP Productivity Pack and completed an e-learning course using the product which we published as SCORM 1.2. I was able to author the file to the SAP Authoring tool and tested it which was all fine, however upon checking it into the SAP repository explorer it failed to check-in & gave this error

    I have not been able to correct this despite running SAP Note 1528650. I also know there was an issue in Prod Pack with the IMSMANIFEST.XML output which I also corrected but this has not helped the checking-in of the file to the Repository Explorer.

    Hi Kristina, yes we resolved our issue with publishing Prod Pack content to the LSO repository. It was not the size of the files, rather an internal infrastructure limitation on the HTTP requests allowed per minute. We increased the limitation and since then have had no issues.

  • Business products photos in Photoshop Elements 11

    I am a beginner with Photoshop Elements 11 but not with working with photo editing. At the moment I am at the beginning of an Adobe tutorial on Elements Organizer. There are four views: Media, People, Places and Events.
    I purchased Photoshop Elements 11 for the primary purpose of displaying my wood art products that I make. As I get further into the tutorial it is likely my question and concern will be addressed. But for now, I don't see where my wood art photos fit in the four views?  Also I will want to organize my photos by category of products, such as men's wooden ties, wooden vases, space shuttle, and many more.

    The 'media' choice is the answer for your custom organization.
    The organizer lets you organize by categories, subcategories and tags. That is a three levels hierarchy you can create freely.
    You might need more than 3 levels, but that's not really a problem.
    Hierarchies are handy when you know you'll have hundreds of tags to choose from. It's easier to select them from a list.
    But you should think of two other ways other than hierarchies to achieve fine selections :
    - Adding captions and notes, that enables quick text search in PSE11
    - Combining tags in advanced search mode. You don't need hierarchies to search for a product type with a given material and a given creator introduced in a given year...

    Did you install SharePoint 2010 SP1 (or preferably, SP2)?
    Foundation SP2:

    If you have SharePoint Foundation, use the Foundation SP2 link. If you have SharePoint Server, use the Server SP2 link. Install that first, then proceed with your OWA SP2 install.

  • HT1349 Package and product number differ iPhone 5

    I bought the iPhone 5 from  Star One Mobile in Sim Lim Square Singpore recently. After reaching my place , just found that the  serial number and IMEI number in my iPhone 5 product and the packaging box are different.
    When I check on the website the packaging number shows the product is replaced but the number in product shows valid.
    Can some one explain the difference?
    I did not anticipate an Apple product having a difference in serial and IMEI number  from the packaging --- probable that the Star one mobile could have changed the package?

    It sounds like Star One repackaged a used or demo iPhone, though I can't be certain. Since Star One does not appear to be an authorized dealer for the iPhone in Singapore, there's no knowing where they might have gotten this iPhone. You'll need to take this up with them.

  • Can't install 32-bit support package for Production Premium CS5

    Installed CS5 Production Premium. None of our computers are 64 bit so we need the supplementary CS4 32-bit versions of After Effects and Premiere Pro. Downloaded the zip file designated for this. Unzipped app but when I tried to install it, got this error message that says "the file archive part" of these is missing, and says to "download all parts." All what parts? There's only one download, the zip file. I've been over the page that explains about downloading and installing the 32-bit package--can't figure out what's missing or where the heck to find it. 

    The following steps should allow you to locate and download your purchase:
    Log in to your Adobe account to download your software.
    Go to the Adobe Store for your country and sign in with your Adobe ID and password.
    Click My Orders and then My Order History.
    Locate the order number, and click the Download link in the Downloads column.
    Start the download by doing one of the following:
    Click Download and follow the onscreen instructions.
    Click Akamai Download Manager and follow the onscreen instructions.
    Click Alternate Download Method, and then click the .7z and .exe files (Windows) or the .dmg file (Mac OS) to download the software to your computer.

  • Finish Product Packing Query

    Hi all,
    I have a query regarding FERT.
    Here at the client end, we are having a scenario, listed point wise below:
    1. Industry is a Chemical Industry.
    2. FERT is manufactured in a continuous process, hence Production Dept. is not sure about the despatch qty. and packing material at the time of production order creation / confirmation.
    3. The FERT over here is actually treated as a HALB, and the Qty. which will get despatched along with the Packing Material is treated as FERT, hence to convert HALB to FERT, there is a production order generated, whose BOM contains HALB + Packing Material and Routing contains Packing Operation.
    Problem faced in PP:
    1. Production is not sure which is the packing mtrl. and hence need to create an extra Production Order, just to convert this HALB to FERT.
    2. More than 1 Material Code exists for FERT, i.e. as per the Type of Packing Material.
    3. At the time of Reporting for a FERT, they have to refer more than 1 material code.
    Query
    How can we map Different Packing Material for FERT with a Single Material Code ?

    Good solution given By Mr. Dhaval,
    Alternative BOM is the best option in this case along with PV.
    I will suggest you could consider the option of Creating these Materials as Bulk Materials.
    Better not to include them in the BOM.
    The advantage of handling these in this way is:
    Every body knows in your shopfloor, that what packing is to be use for your product.
    You can use the T. Code ; MB1A and Movement 201 (Consumption for Cost Center from Warehouse.
