Business Partner Account Balance Drill Down

I have a problem with a specific user a site not being able to Drill down into Account balance on the BP screen.  She has restarted her PC and is having the same issue on other PCs.  The drill down seems to working fine for all the other users.
They are running 8.82 PL07  We've ran the restore item balances function, but the problem still exist.
She can see the account balance and the drill down arrow, but SAP hangs as soon as she clicks the drill down buttton.  I doesn't cause any locks for any other users.
Any ideas?

  • Business partner account assignment and G/L account assignment different

    Hello Experts,
    I am facing the issue of "Business partner account assignment and G/L account assignment different" Message no. FKKFMCHK039, while I am processing the Check lot (FP25).
    Notable points are:
    01) We are using the functionality of Interest, if customer pays the outstanding after due date, payment will post the interest on the outstanding;
    02) I cross checked the account balance of business partners for which I am facing this problem, if payment amount is more then the outstanding balance then only we are facing this error, however under clarification processing if we post the payment with option of Post on account , payments are getting posted.

    BEST PRACTICE:
    Import all the open documents with Service Invoices/Credit Memos, with the same document number and date than in the legacy system. It does not matter what the client says - they ALWAYS have issues afterwards.
    In this case DTW is the best option.

  • Problem with business partner cumulative balance

    Hi
    I used to used the business partner balance enqury to quickly tell customers what they were due to pay up to the start of the month. I just looked at the cumulative balance of the last transaction of the previous month and that was it. I know I could run an aged credit report but this was quicker and easier. However since upgrade to 2007A the cumulative balance does not give the amount due for a part paid invoice so this does not work any more.
    Question is has anyone writen a fast query or other report that calculates the cumulative balance based on outstanding amount?

    Check the balance of GL/Trading Partner Combination
    eg
    GL          Trading Partner  Balance
    666666   XX003                 -20000
    666666   XX004                 30000
    Now suppose you need to transfer balance from CN003 XX004
    You can make a posting as
    DR  666666 XX003     20000
    CR  666666 XX004     20000
    So that the GL balance is not affected, but the trading partner balance is transferred

  • Activating Business partner accounts in netpoint

    Hey All,
    I am having some problems with activating netpoint users for one of our clients. They do not use the active check box on the business partner form in Business one and thus all of their accounts are synching over as non active and they have to manually activate each one (or they get an account locked message when logging in). Is there a better way for them to do this? or do they have to check the active check box in business one for any new partners they create?
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Ok so for any new business partners they also have to check the active check box in business one before they are synched over?
    Is this going to change in newer versions of ecommerce as its a bit confusing for Business One users. They do not normally use that active flag to activate accounts in Business One.

    - Accounting clerk - KNB1- BUSAB
    - Dunning clerk - KNB5
    Credit Master:
    - Credit Rep Group - KNKK- SBGRP
    All the above tables have been updated.
    Business Partner:
    I am failing to do the same in business Partner for define collection groups- UDM_COLL_GRP-Coll_Strategy
    What configuration or master date should i create to achieve this so that this information can be viewed in BP transaction of the account created above?
    I would aso like to see this in transaction FD02 .

    Hi Sridhar,
    To create a Fixed term deposit, you need to assign depository bank and counter party role to your partner.
    Go to BP and for this partner, choose the role as depository bank TR0152 and counter party TR0151.  And then in the company code specific page, enter the payment details.  Then you will be able to create this.  Complete 1 role, save and then go to the next role.

    That is also my experience. SAP Note 176067 is unusually clear in explaining Retained Earnings and the lack of transactions for year end roll up.
    You can see the balances that roll up into Retained Earnings at year end by running Balance Carry Forward again and selecting display retained earnings balance.  I used tcode FAGLGVTR.

  • India - Business Partner Opening Balance not displayed in Trial Balance

    Hi All,
    I am using SAP B1 from 1st April 2007. (SAP B1 2007 B PL 08)
    I have executed the year end procedure for financial year 2007 , that is 1st April 2007 to 31st March 2008.
    Now when I view trial balance, I noticed that a customer whose closing balance is Rs.2080 Debit, as on 31st March 2008, is not shown as Opening balance in Trial balance as well as General Ledger.
    Even I have an journal entry for same customer for Rs.2080 Credit on 1st April 2008 - First day of Finanacial year 2008, So Closing Balance as on 1st April 2008 is Rs.0, But if I want to see the opening balance as on 1st April 2008 i.e. Rs.2080, it is not displayed even if I select Opening Balance in Expand option.

  • Unable to populate the G/L account text ( description ) in drill down repor

    We have developed the trial balance drill down report from FAGLFLEXT table under 0FL library for company code wise.
    The charecters are period,fiscal year  & Version and the key figures are HSL ( GLT0 table ).
    We are getting only the GL account number in the row ( actual requirement is we need to get the g/l account number and text beside of number ) . Please suggest.

    Thanks for the reply, this we have already tried. We are preparing the report for the trial balance which consists of the Balance sheet accounts & Profit and loss accounts. The total number of G/L accounts is more than 500. Here under the Charecteristic values we are giving the account number range . We dont want to manually enter the description for all the G/L accounts. The report should automatically populate the G/L account description ( text ) from the range of the G/L accounts such as 10000000-30000000 etc.

  • Account Balance not showing correctly

    Sir,
    Suppose , i have posted an invoice  of Rs.200 against a customer and after some times i recieved payment from this customer of Rs.200 So,  accout balance of this customer should be zero.. But when i see the account balance from business partner master data , it should me Rs.-400 in accout balance field but when i navigate through orange arrow in to accoutn balance details , there i get  zero in balance due field?? ie. it is showing coorectly in details of account ballance but in the business partner master data it is not showing correctly??

    Reason and Prerequisites
    Customer balance is displayed in negative though you expect it to be positive.
    Solution
    Under Administration->System Initialisation->Company Details and the 'Basic Initialisation' tab you will find the setting 'Display Credit Balance with Negative Sign'. This setting decides how Customer and Supplier balances will be displayed.
    NOTE!
    When creating a company it is important to know that this setting is irreversible once transactions have been made in the company.
    When this box IS checked the following applies:
    Customer balances will be displayed as Positive.
    Supplier balances will be displayed as Negative.
    When this box IS NOT checked the following applies:
    Customer balances will be displayed as Negative.
    Supplier balances will be displayed as Positive.
    This setting also influences the entry of opening balances for the G/L accounts. Depending on this setting, the opening balances must be entered as positive or negative numbers.
    By default this box is checked when a new company is created.
