Business Partner distribution from CRM-PI-MDM using XIF and PI Proxy

Hi,
I would like to know if there is any step-by-step documentation on configuration of ABAP proxy with XIF in SAP CRM for distribution of Business partner information to MDM system. There is XI Content for this but there is no documentation which highlights configuration of proxy.
I did looked at following links but was looking for any other document with details.

Extraction of Business Partner data from CRM to MDM

Does MDM provide standard extractors that can be installed in CRM so that BP data can be extracted and sent to XI via IDOC.
If it does where can I find this information ?

What is the best approach to extract Business Partner information from CRM to XI

by IDOCs of course
you can create them just like I did:

(you jut need to change from proxy to ALE - another module)
but bisically it's a standard to generate
a business partner record and send it as an IDOC from CRM

Middleware: Business Partner replication from CRM 4.0 -- R/3 4.6c.

Business Partner created in CRM & is getting replicated into R/3 with Sales Area Data. Configuration is working fine.
Requirement: Automate Accounting view creation in R/3 using middleware.
1. That is if the user creates Sales view using sales organisation "xxxx" in CRM then the system should create Accounting view in R/3 company code "YYYY".
Please confirm, wheather its possible? ? How?
2. If in CRM, the Sales Organisation is "AAAA", then create accounting view in company code "BBBB" (R/3)

Yes, PIDE entries made.
BP is replcating in R/3 successfully.
In R/3 transaction "XD01" if we create customer along with "Account Group" & "Company code", view "company code data" is visible. I would like to populate this view with "Reconciliation account" entry.
While passing data from CRM, I would like to pass company code. At present, while passing BP from CRM to R/3, Account View is not getting created.
Ex. If the user creates Sales view using sales
Organisation xxxx in CRM then the system should create Accounting view in R/3 company code YYYY.
Please reply, if further information required.

Extract list of Business Partner attachments from CRM to BW

Hi All.
I have a need to extract from CRM to BW a list of documents (Name only, not the actual document) that are attached to CRM Business Partners. Does anyone know of a business content datasource that would provide this? Lacking that, would anyone know on which tables this information is stored in CRM?

Business partner replication from CRM to ECC

Hi everyone,
In case of vendor master data after business partner creation in CRM the vendor Master Data should get created in ECC
system also at the moment i dont have an idea whether it will get replicated to ecc are not can any one help me how to acheive this requirement.

BP Creation will be done be a standard SAP program may be a Function Module. Change Pointer or User Exist should be added to this BP Creation Function Module in order to trigger the Proxy Class with BP data.
Though am not an ABAP expert, I guess the changesshould be done to the standard flow to trigger Proxy Class also..

Business Partner Replication from CRM to R/3

Hello friends,
I am not able to replicate BP from CRM to R/3. When i create a business partner i see bdoc
in SMW01 with status in yellow colour and there is no error description. If i try to debug
the replication in foreground, i can see all the entries which i entered in CRM done in R/3,
but it stops at the Customer attribute screen(Additiona fields as seen in Extras in the task
bar) and doesnot goes further, even if i enter something it remains in the same state. As
per me the customer attribute field in not mandatory in R/3, i dint found the settings for
it in SPRO but logically if R/3 system allows me to save the customer without entering the
attributes then my thinking should be right.
Kindly give me some pointers to resolve this or please let me know the check points,
prerequisites for replication of customers from CRM to R/3.

Check the R/3 transaction OB20, Double clidk on "Create Customer (Centrally) "

CRM -- PI-- ECC using XIF and bdocs

Hi,
I wanted to know the solutions we can have to intrgate CRM Site details using bdocs with PI using XIF in CRM and send to ECC Server like CRM >PI>ECC.
Anyone who has done such a scenario kindly show some pointers on the same.

Seriously unless you are doing multiple backends or something strange, you don't even need PI for a CRM to ECC scenario. The CRM middleware does not use PI at all and basically it is standard configuration on the CRM side to send over the information.
Another question is why would you want to send the plant master from CRM back to ERP? Honestly the plant master should probably always be maintained in ERP. This scenario does not make sense from both a business and technical perspective.

Is there a pure digital signal path from Game to Receiver (using XiFi and DD

Hi Everybody,
when using Dolby Digital Li've on one of the later XiFi cards: Am I fortified against electrical interferance within my computer? That is, is any of the analogous part of the soundcard still working?
I'd like to use the card mainly for games. It will be connected to a receiver via digital output. Therefore, everything up to the receiver could be digital: Game sound (Multiple spatial sound sources), sound processing in the card (resulting in 2-8 digital channels), encoding into a dolby digital stream (via DDL processor), transfer to receiver. Only there, qualitity digital/analog transformers start to work and the analogous signals are well protected from the electrical pollution within my PC.
Does ist actually work like that? Is part of the signal path on the card always analogous? I really fear the interferance of the electrical field within my PC with the sound signal. I could imagine that the DDL-Processor takes analogous signals as input. I did find nothing contrary on the dolby web site.

actually DDL is software encoder and yes if U use it the analogue section of the card will not be used at all the bit stream will be passedthrough to your receiver.

Transfer deltas on Business Partner from CRM to MDM

I have to send the deltas on Business Partner from CRM to MDM. I know this is done with Change Pointers and the extractors.
I have the FM CRM_BUPA_EXTRACT to extract the data but I don´t know how do it.
Can someone guide me on this, please??? Is urgent.

Business Partner extract from R/3 (or SRM) to MDM without XI

Dear SAP Experts,
do you have any solution for extraction of Business Partner data from R/3 (or SRM) to MDM without XI? I know transaction mdmgx and the reference data went to the MDM well. How can I do the same for master data without XI? Please write me a step-by-step solution, if you can, because we haven't got too much time, to solve this issue.

Hi Adam,
there are different reasons for this:
1. MDMGX selects data directly from tables. Customizing tables are very simple tables, thus it was possible to implement a direct access. Master data itself is stored in distributed, multiple tables. It's not this easy to extract the data, thus MDM_CLNT_EXTR is using special extractors for the master data objects. Those object extractors are delivered by the object owners, not by the MDM group.
2. ALE IDoc and Proxy messages are the common way for data exchange between SAP systems. There are predefined IDoc and XML message types for master data. This was not the case for customizing data, so we decided to use FTP for MDMGX just as an exception.
3. The MDM data model for business partners has to combine different data models: R/3's customer and vendor with CRM's/SRM's business partner. Those models have to be combined to a general MDM Business Partner model. This requires a structural and value mapping of the different structures. Currently this is done on XI using a XSLT Message transformation.

We are creating the " Z Partner Functions " in SAP CRM & ECC.in our scenario partner functions flows from CRM to ECC and we want to replicate these partner functions from CRM to ECC.

Mass Update of Business Partner Data in CRM

Hi,
I would like to know how I can perform a mass update of business partner data in CRM and then have this replicated into R/3.
I have found notes 802804, 876602, 859632 but these only apply to CRM 5.0 and we are currently working on CRM 4.0. Does anyone know of anything similar which exists in CRM 4.0?
I have checked other posts and found help files links like the one below but is this only on CRM 5.0? (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm50/helpdata/en/3c/9b56fae6c7424cafcdf17370399812/frameset.htm )
Has anyone used the tx. MASS in CRM?
Also our volume update levels is as high as 300,000 record and updating in CRM and replicating into R/3 through the middleware is causing performance problems.

Mass not available in 4.0, could write your own LSMW routine but you still will create bdocs for updates so not sure how that will improve your performance.

Entering Business Partner data from IC Webclient - CRM2007

Just wanted to check that if I enter Business partner data from the IC Webclient is the data stored in the CRM backend tables for example BUT000, BUT050 etc and if so is this done on the fly or a scheduled update? If not what tables are they stored in. Also can I see the same information once it is entered in the webclient via the CRM transaction BP Thanks

Hi Niten,
The tables are the same (for example: but000 for master partner data, but050 for relations, and so on...).
The data is updated when you press the respective save button, or when you press the 'end' button at telephony bar (to end an Interaction Center Interaction).
And yes, you can then check the information in BP t-code.
