Business partner doesnot reflect

hi all,
While saving the record in UI it shows the error messege that the employee rresponsible is not maintained in ERP.
Wht checks to be made?
Also, We have created org model in ERP and replicated to CRM. Sometimes the corresponding sales org is showing in ERP  but not in CRM.? please help wht checks to be made
I am new to CRM. I have experience in CRM functional.

Hi Dhruv,
If you say you say you dont find some sales org in CRM which are there in ERP which meanis the dowmload has not been done properly.
Please check your sales area download from ECC to CRM which would have some errors.
Correcting this would solve the issue.

    Infact this reply was very useful, but ,while using the BAPI "BAPI_IDENTIFICATION_ADD" while creating the Id type and Id #s, this BAPI was not enabling this.
    I was trying to use this BAPI to create ID #, and it's desc, but, this BAPI was returning like "This BP # does not exist" (in some cases) and in some other cases, it is keeping quiet without giving any indication as whether the things have been updated or not... and also when I checked, things were not getting reflected.

  • How to stop the replication of a particular business partner from sap crm to sap ecc - BDOC

    Hi experts,
    I need to know the procedure to stop replicating a particular BP #1234(example) from CRM to ECC. I don't want this BP to be replicated in ECC as in ECC this BP will not be maintained.
    BDOC failure:
    In my current scenario BDOCs are failing with error like "No BP exist". Since this BP #1234 itself is not present in ECC, the error is obvious.
    This BP #1234 is defined in CRM as an Org. Unit. We don't maintain Org. Unit in ECC. All other BP are saved under this BP(#1234).
    Issue:
    So whenever a new BP(example #ABC) is created, the BUPA_REL type BDOC fails with error "BP with number #1234 doesnot exist.
    I don't want this to happen. So what i found if we can stop the replication of this particular BP #1234, then if we make any change to the relation BP, this error should not come.
    Please help me to resolve this BDOC error.

    Hi Ganesh,
    1st we create a Organization structure through tcode-PPOSA_CRM.
    A business Partner is created which represent the Organization Structure partner ID.
    2nd we create a BP through and do a Org. assignment in tcode - PPOSA_CRM.
    A business Partner is created which represent the any customer partner ID.
    As soon as you do an assignment,assigning the customer BP to the org BP, a BUPA_REL BDoc flow but it fails.
    Error we get in the BDoc: "BP XXXX doesnot exist"
    Reason: Since this Org BP is not present in ECC, the BDoc fails in CRM.
    Possible Resolution 1:
    1. I created this Org. BP in ECC through CRMM_BUPA_MAP
    2. The BP got created.
    3.Then i tried to assign a new customer BP to Org BP to check if the issue is resolved, but we get another type of error 'BP is not defined as internal Org. Unit".
    I don't know how to define BP as an internal Org. Unit in ECC?
    Can you please help me in this.
    Possible Resolution 2:
    If i can stop this particular BUPA_REL BDoc which contains this Org.unit BP, from getting replicated, means when i assign the customer BP to Org.Unit BP, BUPA_REL should not be triggered.
    I don't know if this is possible or not, but if this is possible, i would consider this a last option to resolve this issue.

  • Business Partner Replication from CRM to R/3

    Hello friends,
    I am not able to replicate BP from CRM to R/3. When i create a business partner i see bdoc
    in SMW01 with status in yellow colour and there is no error description. If i try to debug
    the replication in foreground, i can see all the entries which i entered in CRM done in R/3,
    but it stops at the Customer attribute screen(Additiona fields as seen in Extras in the task
    bar) and doesnot goes further, even if i enter something it remains in the same state. As
    per me the customer attribute field in not mandatory in R/3, i dint found the settings for
    it in SPRO but logically if R/3 system allows me to save the customer without entering the
    attributes then my thinking should be right.
    Kindly give me some pointers to resolve this or please let me know the check points,
    prerequisites for replication of customers from CRM to R/3.

  • Replication of Business Partner Data from ECC to legacy

    Hi,
    My requirement is to replicate any changes made to Business Partner,should immediately get reflected in the legacy.
    Which is the best method to follow.I am planning to use ABAP proxies instead of IDOCS.
    As the replication needs to be immediate,Can I use ABAP Proxy.?
    And for tigerring this proxy I need to enhance the code for Business Partner(BP) to call the proxy.
    Is my approach correct or do I need to follow any other approach.

    Hi,
      The approach should be based on the kind of data you want to upload in SAP. if you want to upload some standard process documents like Sales order/ purchase order then it will be good to use IDOC. As we have Standard IDOCs available in SAP to upload such document in ECC. In case you want to track the change in data from BP which is not part of any standard process then in that case you can go for ABAP proxy.
       If you are using ABAP proxy you dont need to call it from BP. From BP the changes will be sent to PI (in the form of File/database Query/JMS Queues ..etc ). Then PI will call inbound proxy from ECC and post the data.

    The Business partner Not replicated in CRM.Two Sales organization have been maintained for the employee for the different time lines in ECC.Checked the BDOCs and the validation error occur in FM CRM_BUPA_MAIN_VAL .The BDOCs message was saying the BPGUID was missing .Could anyone please suggest what could be the root cause of the data not replicated from ECC to CRM.

    This is the case where at the time of creation of BP there was some issue with replication.
    The BP itself is not there in CRM or only the changes are not reflected?
    In such scenarios, perform following steps for successful replication:
    1. Go to TCode: CRMM_BUPA_MAP
    2. Enter the BP no. {initially it says it does not exist}
    3. Enter ERP customer no. and press enter, the BP GUID gets filled
    4. Click on "Gather Information about customer" [you can see the status of the object]
    5. Now again enter the BP no. -> The customer is available in CRM now.

  • Create Employee as a Business partner using BAPI

    Hi,
        I created a business partner using the BAPI,
    "BAPI_BUP_CREATE_FROM_DATA". I used this within a program. The business partner gets successfully created and gets reflected in the table BUT000. But I do not see it when I run the user exit "RPM_EMPDATA".Because of this I am not able to see the business partner inside cProjects. I am able to see the business partner inside the transaction BP. When I go into change mode and change the role (from Business partner role to Resource role),and when I save this business partner  I am able to see the details in the user exit RPM_EMPDATA. I am also able to assign this business partner to tasks in cProjects.

    i just referred all the documents that you have mentioned in the previous suggestion.
    [ID 1400877.1] - This one doesnt help me and i have rehired the employee and checked but still facing the same issue in the supplier interface.
    [ID 433746.1] - This one refers to the creation supplier through forms and i have checked the same which has been mentioned in the document. Everything is fine which the front end creation too.
    But am still facing the same issue.
    Kindly suggest me the if the issue can be solved in someother ways.

  • Business Partner  in PC-UI

    Hi all,
    I need to implement additional field checks for the Business Partner in the PC-UI (for example, I need to validate that some fields are not empty and send a custom message). I already did it for the SAP GUI using the BDT (transaction BUS3), but this method is not working in the SAP Enterprise Portal. Is there any other method to include this validations in the SAP EP? Can anyone help?

    Hi David,
    Bad News :
    Whatever validation you do using BDTs don't get reflected in the PC UI framwork automatically. This is primarily because both are different approaches of UI layer development and modification and run independent of each other. What affect both of them is the business logic underneath. So, you'll have to redo all these validations.
    To build the validations, you'll have to maintain the blueprint tables appropriately and create a new model access class to implement the validations.
    Good News : A possible solutions to make things easier might be to call the function modules that you use in the BDT from your access classes. Please take care to adopt the function module to handle both the PCUI and BDT checks.
    <u>But</u> why do you want to implement both the BDT approach and the PCUI approach? Please check your business process properly before going ahead. I can't think of a scenario when the user creates for example Business Partners using the SAPGUI as well as the Portal. The end user training costs should not (ideally) permit this. Unless ofcourse you have a really rich client

    Cash management is basically a reflection and grouping of payments(receipts or payments). So Business partner is in the context of sender or receiver. If take the example of Inhouse for cash management, you have a sender account and receiver account. These accounts are Business partner in the role of bank.

  • How to delete standard business partner role in CRM

    Hi,
    on CRM in the business partner relationships we got some relations marked as 'standard'.
    If we delete such a relationship in the mobile client the bdoc will be rejected during ConnTrans and the changes will be set back on the mobile client.
    If we delete such a relationship in the R/3 backend the deletion will be rejected by CRM but the change is not being set back in R/3, hence we get inconsistencies.
    We need to delete standard business relations initiated by R/3 and from the mobile client. Can this be set in customizing or otherwise?

    Maybe notes 497146 and 914470 can help you. These will solve that deletions from R/3 are correctly reflected in Mobile. I don't know if it solves also the other way around as we don't use this functionality.

    I want the Sales Organisation,Distribution Channel, Division data and Marketing Attributes of Every Business Partner.
    I found table CRMM_BUT_FRG0080 contains data, but when I created a new Business Partner and maintain the Sales Area Data, the saved data does not reflect in the CRMM_BUT_FRG0080 table.

    I'm creating my organizational structure on CRM system: on transaction "PPOMA_CRM" I'm creating all the organizations I need. But I 'm facing with a problem: I'm not able to assign them a business partner. I mean: in the transaction "PPOMA_CRM" under the column "Business Partner" I'm not able to insert any business partner.
    And on the other hand, if I go on transaction "BP" in order to define a new organization, when I select which is  the BP role to use for the creation of the organization, I don't see BUP004.
    Do you have any suggestions.
    Why I can't see it?
    And what I have to do to assign a business partner to an organization?

    Please find below my answers:-
    In a first moment I configured the HR-CRM integration and when I go on transaction PPOMA_CRM in order to display the Organizational Structure I can see, for each Organizational unit downloaded from HR, a business partner ID under the column "business partner". This is the same number ID which allows to identify the same Organizational Unit on transaction BP.
    Answer- In Transaction BP you can find the same Org unit business prtner created in PPOMA_CRM.
    Suppose you have created BP_Org in PPOMA_CRM which has got generated with certain BP number.But this will not reflect in transaction BP. All the Business Partners created under BP_Org will be getting reflected.
    Now I deactivated the HR-CRM integration and when I create a new Organizational Unit on PPOMA_CRM I'm not able to fill the column "Business Partner".
    Ans- If you have not maintained in HR-CRM Integration there will be no number range.
    If I insert the Organizationa Unit ID (displayed on PPOMA_CRM) in transaction BP I don't get any results.
    Ans- While searching in BP , first you donu2019t have option of searching BP with Org Unit ID but you will find number instead. But as I told you earlier this will search the Business Partner under your Root Organization in our case it is BP_Org. You cant search for BP_Org in Tx-BP
    I need to assign a business partner to my organizational unit for escalation purposes since the escalation is succesfully only for the organizational units with that business partner ID, i.e. all the organizational units downloaded from HR.
    So at the moment the escalation process doesn't work for the organizational units just created only on CRM standalone system.
    I think it is possible to make it work also for these organizations, but I don't know how!

    Hello Gurus,
    I am doing Business Partner Enhancement using EEWB. basically adding new tab with few data fields. After using EEWB, the new tab hasbeen generated automatically and BP is creating successfully and data is stored in tables.
    But in the custom tab, the fields are displaying in table format after using EEWB. User dont want in the table control, and they want normal screen fields.
    How can we do that.  After that, will it reflect to portal automatically or do we need to do any thing?
