Business Partner in detail

Hi All ,
For Solution manager we configure service desk . which use Business partner for all SAP users in PRD as external identity .
we created all business partner with T-Code BP_GEN, after a long gap i found few BP having overlap external identity with 3-4 sap user id on one BP.
i mean to say , few BP holding more then one external Identification and all are for different user on PRD server (satellite server)
with Tcode BP , i can review one business partner at a time, so please suggest any other Tcode which provide all Business partner on one screen. Also please suggest why BP identification having more then one user details.

    The Journal Entry when an AR Invoice is posted for a Child BP who has a Consolidated BP defined is
    Parent BP A/C  Debit
    Sales Revenues  Credit
    Since the Child BP is not referenced anywhere other than the Invoice itself, it would not be possible to get the Child BP Codes.

    You can get the BP assigned to an Employee from the table HRP1001.
    Give OTYPE = 'CP', OBJID = Personnel number of the employee.
    The field SOBID will give you the BP number.
    Using the BP number, you can get all the business partner central details from BUT000.

    In CRM5.0 IC webclient, I used FM 'BUPA_TEMPLATE_SAVE_TABS' to save information regarding Business Partner Template.

    So I repair the user from BBP_CHECK_USERS.
    Now definitly its business partner has changed.User can also shop.
    But the problem lies is he has lost his all the old shopping cart which was related to old business partner.
    Can any one tell me how to get those detail of the old shopping cart which was related to old business partner?

  • Validation of bank details in a business partner

    Hi,
    We have a requirement where we need to validate the bank details of a business partner. If the details are incomplete then we should not allow the BP to be saved.
    For this purpose we have used two approaches, namely using the BADI BUPA_BANK_EXPORT, getting the data and throwing the error message if necessary. Also we have tried to use a custom function module in events in BUPT ( DCHEK event).
    The issue here is that the error message is being displayed, but the control is not going to change mode. So i cannot change the value. If i try to press enter the same BADI or function module is getting triggered again.
    Is there any way we can use an error message and gain control so that we can make modifications to the data.
    The last option would be using a ABORT mesage instead of error, but i dont think this is a really good solution.

    Hi Chaitanya,
    The BADI BUPA_BANK_EXPORT would not be the right place to implement the check.
    You could use 2 solutions, both of which will definitely work -
    1. In trsnasaction BUS7 (Events), Choose event DCHCK, and register your custom module - e.g. Z_BANK_CHECK. In this, first make a call to a memory module to get the bank details from memory, check them, and if incorrect, raise the error message using module BUS_MESSAGE_STORE.
    2. A better solution - go to transaction BUPT-->Business Partner ->Control ->Screen Layout ->Views .
      Select view BUP500(bank details) and then click on option Further checks(in the left pane).
    Here, you can register a custom function module that will get called whenever you enter bank data on the screen in txn BP and press Enter. Register this module using 'appl' = BUP.
    In this module too, do the check and raise the error message using module BUS_MESSAGE_STORE.
    Either of these solutions will surely work.

    is there any way to save redundant bank details data (i.e. multiple entries with the same bank account number and bank key) for one business partner, where only the bank details ID is different? I can't do so, neither via BAPI, nor directly via SAP GUI (trx. FPP2). But as I can see in table BUT0BK, only the partner number and the bank details ID (BKVID) are key fields...

    No, that can't be done.  All desktops will show what is in the 'Desktop' folder in your home folder.

  • Search employee details from Business partner number input

    I am searching employee details by having input as a business partner number from infotype 0000. as pernr has only 8 character in size and bp in 10 char in size. would you please tell me how we can access employee detais from business partner number.

    Dear Naeem,
    as a CRM environment is not able to run at the same sytsem / client with HR, the employee data (e.g. infotype actions (IT 0000)) only is available in a scenario with ALE-distribution from a HR-system.
    In this case the employee data from HR-system will be distributed via idocs (message type HRMD_ABA) to the CRM-system and saved to databases HRP558x [x=0 - 5; 0= IT0000; 1 = IT0001; 2 = IT0002; 3 = IT0006, subtype 1; 4 = IT0009; 5 = IT0105, subtype 0005, 0010, 0020] for the central person (object type CP).
    The activated business partner integration (table T77S0, group HRALX, switch HRAC) will create / update related business partners (relation is saved within table HRP1001, subtype B207) according to the mapping of data during idoc inbound processing (active CRM implementation of a BAdI HRALE00INBOUND_IDOC processed within the function module (FM) IDOC_INPUT_HRMD (stored in table TBD52 for evcode = HRMD).
    Reading specific infotype data of a central person (databases HRP558x) will be done using the FM RH_READ_INFTY.

    We have seen this issue in the past - if you are on SRM 5.0 a note exists to correct the action - however if you are on SRM 4.0 I think you are going to be stuck.  Anyway see OSS note 881695 - Source of supply with item changes.
    As described if you change plant(location), the product category or the unit of measure the source of supply will be re-determined. 
    We have previously requested this note to be down-ported to SRM 4.0 but the request was declined as it apparently would require significant changes.

  • CICO - Business Partner details of the account selected not appearing

    Hi,
              I am a R/3 Basis consultant and I am not much aware of the functionality of the transaction CIC0. The User is facing an issue while accessing transaction CIC0 - Customer Interaction Center. The User first clicks on yellow arrow near the search string and provides the contract account in the prompted screen.Presses "Enter" for three times and gets the invoice details. Under Invoice selects the bill, double clicks on it and presses "End Contract" to clear data. Now the first screen appears and again he continues as earlier. But this time he clicks on yellow arrow on search string, provides different contract account number, presses "Enter" button. But nothing appears even he presses "Enter" button n times.It doesnt moves to Business Partner details of the account selected. It always works for the first entry and does not work from the second entry. Even if the enter key pressed for n times, the text boxes are not automatically populating the relevant information. There was no any change in GUI Version. But seems to be there was a upgradation in Desktop Version GI-Desktop from 1.8 to 1.9. Since then this issue is occuring for all the users. Is it because of this upgradation or any of you have come across this scenario earlier. Please advise on this issue as I need to resolve this issue at the earliest.

    You have a few options:  execute a customer change or use the account holder functionality, or reverse all transactions and redo with correct partner.
    The account holder would enable you to keep the account number, but it only allows you to add a new business partner as related.  You cannot remove the current business partner relation, and thus might not be appropriate.
    The customer change process moves the contracts and account from one bp to another.  This will result in a new account number.
    Lastly, you can reverse the bills and moves, and then re-execute them with the correct bp.

    Select Business Partner -- > Click Accounting Tab --> Click Tax tab -->
    Click button adjacent to tax information, you should maintain TIN no & PAN no,
    Then only it will copied to respective  documents.
    Clarify me for which document you are using Print layout designer,I will tell you from
    which table name TIN & PAN no shoudle be retrieved.

    I have to assign Sales Org , DIV, Distribution Channel to the Business Partner in Sales Area data.  When I try system shows entire Org structure. But I want the Org structure should be displayed based on the user log on. Assume that, I am assigned to Shangai and creating Business partner for Shangai, the system should not show Beijing or other Org Unit since I belong to Shangai.  How to address this scenario thro standard customization?
    Is it common problem in CRM Webui(6.0 and 7.0).

       Thanks for your reply. I believe Org determination rule is applicable for Transaction types not for Account Creation. I want to get Sales area data based on login user. It shows complete Sales Area(Sales Org IDDistribution ChannelDivision) when I create an Account.. Assume that you are an employee and assigned to Newyork, when you create New Customer in Newyork, system should not show Boston, Washington Sales areas...Please throw some light on this...

  • Business Partner Role Specific Field View in WebClient

    Hello to everyone,
    I have a question that really needs a answer.  We are upgrading from SAP CRM v4 to SAP CRM v7.0 and as such we have a number of custom Business Partner Roles within the Person BP Type.  Against these custom roles we have developed custom field and tabs in order to separate the content within the BP Role further.
    After rolling off an implementation of SAP CRM v6.0 [2007], the following seems apparent:
    - Assignment of Roles is done via an assignment block in the Customer Maintenance view.
    - You can create Business Partners in different roles initially.
    - You cannot maintain Business Partner details in specific roles
    However, you cannot display the role specific fields as you can in the WinClient.  As an example, a Citizen Role BP will have different fields to that of a Teacher, but these roles could be assigned to one Business Partner.
    There does not seem to be any guidance as to how this is managed in the WebClient and as it seems a fundamental part fo the SAP CRM offering, you would have thought that this questions has been asked, but I have found no answers.
    I really hope anyone can help and appreciate any time and effort put into solving my question.

    Yes, your observation is right - in the Web UI, fiel grouping is not implemented for roles. This is because the role concept is quite different between SAP Gui and Web UI.
    In SAP gui, (CRM 4.0) roles had a functional meaning as well as a UI control. However, the concept was changed with Web UI. Now, roles have only a functional meaning, and no effect on the UI at all.
    If you want to implement role based field grouping in Web UI, you need to define your own methods in the implementation class.
    E.g : you can write code to influence the field properties based on the roles. I guess you can redefine the DO_PREPARE_OUTPUT  methods of the impl class.
    In order to get info about which roles the BP is maintained , you can use FM BUPA_ROLES_GET_2.

  • Problem with display of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean business partner name

    Hi All,
    I'm trying to understand how to get GTS to properly display the names of the business partners that are in Chinese, Japanese, or Korean.
    I have set my SAP gui localization as follows:
    - Select the Customize Local Layout, then Options, then the |18N tab,
    and check the Activate Multibyte Function box
    - Select the Customize Local Layout, then Character Set and check
    Unicode and Simplified Chinese
    In the source R/3 system for these partners, if I set my localization to the right language, the business partner's name and address would be displayed correctly in the C/J/K character sets when I select the appropriate version in International Version of the address.
    However, in GTS these names/addresses would just appear as nonsensical characters (like "·ÉÀûÆÖÕÕÃ÷µç×Ó£¨ÉϺ££©ÓÐÏÞ¹«Ë¾").
    For example, if I do a look up of a known Chinese BP by number, in the seach results window the Description field of that BP would just be garbage, but if I put the cursor over the Description field, then the correct Chinese display (matching what is in R/3) would appear for as long as the cursor is over that field. This indicates that the data was transferred correctly from R/3 to GTS, but some how the display does not default to the right character set.
    If I select that record, the resulting detailed display would also have garbage as the Name and Address. However, here putting the cursor over the fields still do not bring up the correct character displays, and I have found no way to get the correct displays to appear.
    Does any one know of a way to get the displays to show correctly in GTS?
    And can anyone explain why putting the cursor over the Description (in the BP search results window) would let the correct display pop up?
    Greatly appreciate any insight anyone can provide.

    Hi Rex - As per message - this looks to be an issue for BC-I18-UNI and not the GTS application:
    For general information purposes - last response from BC-I18-UNI development via oss message:
    "However, from readind the message, I believe I understood the reason for
    the described effect. I assume GGT is a non-Unicode system? If yes, this
    is my idea:
    The data stored in the BP tables, e.g. for number 2555442 have been
    entred manually, probably within a session using English as logon
    language. In this case the data are stored with a Latin-1 codepage. This
    means the stored data are actually Latin-1 data, not Chinese. By
    switching the font at front-end side to Chinese, the characters appear
    as correct Chinese, although they are still Latin-1.
    It is possible that different GUI components show different effects in
    this context, as the internal font switching mechanisms behave a bit
    different in different components, e.g. control based components are
    different from normal Dynpro-based fields.
    To have correct Chinese data, you need to logon with language Chinese.
    This holds for all non-Unicode systems. On Unicode systems, the logon
    language is arbitrary."

  • Business Partner Items - 0FC_BP_ITEMS

    I want to activate datasource 0FC_BP_ITEMS as delta enabled. The documentation says to activate IMG settings. I do not see the "Maintain Central Settings" in IMG as in this thread: Business Partner Items - 0FC_BP_ITEMS
    I can not find how this was resolved. Is there a specific component version for FI-CAX needed in ECC 6.04?

    Hi Colin
    I am facing the same problem.
    Our SAP Basis is a bit concerned about this issue.They have advised me that after activation of Business Functions Sets existing customizing and therefore tables were deleted and newly created.
    Furthermore we have FI-CAX version 600. That means we don't have installled EHP for these components in our ERP-system.
    Do you know the side-effects if you activate such business functions?
    Is there a guide  or documentation for this activity?
