1. You did not read the FAQ and learn to use tags to format your listing making it hard to read.
2. I do not know what version you have.
3. I do not understand your business rules or what you are trying to do from your description.
The one thing I do know is that storing rowids is a terrible idea and one that should be avoided like it is the plague.

Copied Business Role in Solution Manager ITSM

This is eunhwa.
I have a question regarindg copied business role in Solution Manager ITSM.
To copy business role, I copied technical roles Navigation profile, configuration key and PFCT Role ID. And then I copied
a business Role. And assign copied technical roles to copied business role.
And I changed Direct link group UI. For example, in copied business role ZSOLMANPRO, There were many
direct links, I only left ‘incident’ and ‘problem.
However when I selected incident’ in direct link, there was no transaction ‘zmin’ assign. I couldn’t create a incident.
Why this error happened? Is there anything which I miss?

Well, there are multiple things you can check.
1. If you are using IE
You have to add the page/pop-up to the compatibility mode of your Browser.
IE -> EXTRAS -> Settings for Compatibility Mode -> Add -> Refresh the CRM WEB UI
2. Check if you had assign SM-CREATE in the ZSOLMANPRO Navigation profile. (In Assigning the direct link groups to Nav. Bar profile.
3. Check whether you had authorizations for ZMIN in PFCG profile.
4. Additionally check

Incident using CRM Web UI - Solution Manager
5. In define transaction types corresponding transaction types are active. (In SPRO under solman ->Capabilities->ITSM-> Transactions)
6. Check the copy control whether they are fine. (In SPRO under solman ->Capabilities->ITSM-> Transactions)
7. Ensure that the transaction type's channel definition in customizing is set to 'CRM Web-Client UI'
If your issue is still not resolved yet, please paste the error/screen you are getting.

Business Roles not getting refreshed in UI
Hi,
When I log in to the Web UI, I can see all my roles.
Now when I delete a Position/user assignment in the org model, I would assume
not to see that role when I log on to the BSP application.
I'm completely coming out of the application to reflect my changes.
My questions would be
1. How to delete a business role
I've tried removing the complete position itself but I can see the roles
I even tried clearing the browser cache but not luck, I'm using Firefox.
2.I wanted to try a different browser, can somebody tell me how to change the browser
3. For the other roles when I login I get an Interaction centre page with most of the screen blank.
I've checked all the links
I did try other solutions mentioned in other threads.
I'm new to this version as well.
I'm following c04 and CR580.
Please do tell me the missing config.
Another point is that I've SAP_ALL role

1. Did you copied SALESPRO business role to ZSALESPRO business role?? If yes, delete ZSALESPRO business role and
again copy SALESPRO business role to ZSALESPRO1 - reason may be by mistake you have copied IC_AGENT or IC_MANAGER to ZSALESPRO.
2. To make your life easy with PFCG roles -
2.1. I suggest you to copy standard Sales Professional role to "Z" role
(eg: SAP_CRM_UIU_SLS_PROFESSIONAL to Z_SAP_CRM_UIU_SLS_PROFESSIONAL) and generate the profile.
2.2. Add role SAP_CRM_UIU_FRAMEWORK (copy of it eg: ZSAP_CRM_UIU_FRAMEWORK)
2.3. Add these roles to your User along with SAP_ALL (or Z_SAP_ALL) and SAP_NEW
3. Add your User to Employee
4. Add your Employee to the Position in Org. Model
5. Select PFCG Role ID = Z_SAP_UIU_SLS_PROFESSIONAL in your business role (ZSALESPRO1)
6. Extend your Position with Business Role (PPOMA_CRM -> double click on your position -> select GOTO -> Detail Object -> Enhance Object Description) -> highlight business role -> click on create info-type -> select your business role (ZSALESPRO1) -> save
7. Clear the browser cache (delete temp. internet files) and delete cookies
8. Log on to WEB UI with your user and password...
I am sure that, if you follow this - you will active WEB UI without any problems. If still you have problems, let me know....

Calling one business role from another business role on CRM web client
Hi,
I have a requirement where, one business role can be launched just by click a navigation link on another.,
For eg. in a UTIL_IC role frame work , I add a link by clicking on it, I go to UITIL_SALES role.
This is required so that person need to launch crm_ui_frame again if he wants to login for another business role assigned to him..
Please suggest the solution if possible for this one.

2 Business Roles - Navigate from One to Another
Hello
My Key user is assigned a regular Web UI Business Role(CASEWORKER) and it is used for daily work.
However he needs to access standard FCC_AGENT IC specific role in order to process the Collection Work Items occasionally.
Solution which I am thinking was to assign both the Business Roles to User.
However the disadvantage is: User have to switch back to Other Role in order to perform the Operation. Moreover the User is not really happy with this approach.
Is there any other option available ?
Is that possible to Open a new Session (for Secondary Role) from Navigation Bar of first Business Role ?
Please advise.

Maybe you can consider configuring a new business role for your key-user, where you can put all workcenter that he needs (from both business roles that you indicated).

Business Role: ZSOLMANPRO (missing info in NavBar)

I am using Business Role ZSOLMANPRO for CRM Web Client UI (mainly for ChaRM).
Anyway, I have tested with SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW and everything appears perfectly.
When I remove SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW there are some items missing.
The below screenshot is with SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW. The YELLOW highlighted items do NOT show when these profiles are removed:
Why are yellow items not showing???
I have double checked and they are definitely assigned to the ZSOLMANPRO Business Profile via "Direct Link Groups to Nav. Bar Profile".
So I can't for the life of me work out why they are not showing!!
Any suggestions?

Role Based Access through business roles? Switch b/w business roles?

We have a situation where we want to really chop down on what the user should see in UI.
What this basically means is that we want to define job based business roles. In essence a user should only see what he is allowed to execute as part of his job function.
One solution would have been to create 1 business role and control everything through the pfcg role. But, this will be a very unfriendly approach, as the user would never really know what is part of job profile and what not till he clicks on it to find out that it doesnt work and is not authorized for it.
To avoid the above situation, we want to give managers and users the liberty to pick out their own combination of business roles which suits a users job profile. I know this would mean we might have to create quite a few business roles, but atleast it avoids reduntant access.
Any thoughts are welcome.
Questions:
If a user is assigned multiple business roles how to switch without really logging off?
Can we have tabs or something on the header or nav bar which allows a user to switch b/w business roles?
Can the net affect of multiple business roles be combined when assigned to a user ?

The whole concept around assigning a Business Roles is to provide a specific set of functions to a specific user or user group.
There should not be any reason for a User to log off from one role and then log in with another.
If for example you want a user to have some Sales Professional access as well as some Service Professional access then you would copy Sales Professional Role to you own custom role, remove the Sales Professional attributes that you do not want, then add in the required Service Professional attirbutes required.
The WEB UI views can then be configured for that particular Custom role you have created.

Use GRAC_USER_ACCES_WS to provision Business Role
I have situation where I need to provision several hundred users across 90 business roles. I have been experimenting with FM GRAC_IDM_USR_ACCS_REQ_SERVICES (underlying FM for enterprice service GRAC_USER_ACCES_WS) to automate mass provisioning using GRC access requests. I figured out how to use the FM to provision technical roles to users but cannot get it to work for GRC Business Roles.
If the service cannot provision business roles, that would imply that an IdM would also not be able to do so. We are currently looking at IdM (non-SAP) solutions. Now I wonder if the value of business roles we are building will be diminished if an IdM is used.
Is it possible to provision business roles using the service and/or FM? If so, any details on the input values required would be much appreciated.Hi Harinam,

Now the issue during role assignment is resolved, but during role removal mail notification says role has been removed from user and ends with empty brackets ().
For single roles in this brackets it usually fills the system name. May be for business roles since there will not be any specific system it is coming empty, but I think SAP should fix this.

Since you confirmed that you are using business roles, let me know any critical issues which you came across as part of SP13 as we are also on SP13 and could be helpful.

Direct Posting to Contracts and Business roles in SRM
Hi guys,
We have SRM 7 and ECC 6.0.
Please consider the following business scenario:
Invoice creation in SRM against ERP contract that has been previously replicated to SRM;
No PO or GR involved in this process;
Possibility to have one contract to vendor A, and the corresponding invoices for different vendors.
Considering this we thought about the following solution:
Activate Direct Posting to Contracts functionality in ERP;
Contract, supplier and materials / services replication to SRM, through PI;
Allow different partners in the contract, using partner role “Invoicing party” (RS), so that it would be possible to post an invoice to vendor B, with reference to a contract with vendor A.
Questions:
Reporting – as far as I know it’s only possible to run analyses for vendors, which in our case would be vendor A, assigned to the contract. However, we will need to have information about the invoices posted to the other business partners that are assigned to that contract. Do you have any idea if there is any standard approach for this?
Contract and business roles replication to SRM – does the contract and the assigned business roles could be replicated to SRM or is it required any specific customizing in SRM for this to be possible?
Any help would be appreciated.

For direct posting to G/L in MIRO, follow the path:
SPRO > Materials Management > Logistics Invoice Verification > Incoming Invoice > Activate Direct Posting to G/L Accounts and Material Accounts > Here Activate "Dir.posting to G/L acct = active" and save.
MIRO - It will show additional Tab as "GL Account" along with "Reference"

How to delimit business roles in Org Strucutre
Hello,
I have a requirement where in I need to schedule and delimit business roles in the organisation structure(ppoma_crm).
Business Requirement: Short term assignment of the Sales executive to Sales manager (Duty manager) role.
The main issue is how to automatically remove the assignment (in tr. ppoma_crm) after the approved period expired?
A particular scenario is such when a sales executive is assigned a sales manager role in the latter's absence for a limited period of time say 1 week. Another req is to assign such a role say one week ahead of scheduled date (set on 14.2.12 for the role to be effective on 19.2.12 for a period of 1 week) and then automatically delimit it on 26.2.12(1 week after 19.2.12) without manual intervention and the need to check for such cases manually, because there could be multiple assignments.
Currently, we have business roles assigned to posiitons. I can only delimit the business roles on positions in the Infotype for Business Roles in transaction PP01. Need a way out for my requirement. I need a way to schedule and delimit business roles in the org strucutre.
Suggestions and possible solutions awaited.

Replicate Cust Enhancements on UI Configuration to different Business Roles

I thought this would be straight out of the book solution,
well, but it seems Im not so right .
I need some suggestions on the following issue i am facing-
I had made some custom changes to a CRM application (Creating a Service Request - SRQM_INCIDENTH, Creating
Business Opportunities - BT111H_OPPT) on a Z Business Role which has been associated as default to my User ID.
Now i have been asked to replicate the same UI screen changes to some other Z Business Roles as well.
I took the approach of creating a new UI Configuration (Copy of the exisiting UI Configuration) based on the resp. role - ZABC.
But when i logged into WEBUI with the role ZABC i did not see the view i expected.
Can you all please pour in what you think should be the way to do this job?
Folks plz pour in with quick responses as today is d last day of d mighty 2010 year !

Mass recertification of business roles
Hi community,
I was wondering if there is a possibility to perform a mass recertification of business roles in GRC frontend. Via Role Maintenance, one can re-certify each role manually, but if you have 10.000 roles, this is obviously not a solution.
I did not find any suitable way via Mass Update, or I kind of overseen the attribute. Do you know any way to perform a mass role recertification in NWBC?

CRM WebClient Error login after selecting business role

"Normal" Activities in FCC_PSCD Business Role
Hi All,
I am working with CRM2007 and the R3 solution for Public Sector. Hence, I decided to use the Business Role FCC_PSCD. The point is that, besides I have tried by adding the Work Centers SLS-ACT, SRV-CASE, SRV-OPERAT, I couldnt create the Activity with the "normal" layout as in Role SALESPRO.
The error message that I have when trying to create Activities is:
Diagnosis
No transaction type is available when creating a transaction. This can be due to the following reasons:
No transaction type is available according to Customizing
The user has no authorization for the transaction type
System Response
It is not possible to create the transaction.
Procedure
Make sure that:
The transaction type is set up in Customizing
The user has authorization for the transaction type
I hope somebody knows the answer to the scenario described above or can give me a tip....
