Business systems are not reflecting in Int. Directory
Hi All,
I am getting a problem regarding business systems. Any business system which i have in SLD is not showing up in the ID when I am doing the configuration.
Somebody suggested SLDCHECK...
When I run this transaction I get the message that "Connection with SLD does not work". Is it related ?

Hi,
The Integration server is not connected to the SLD.
Please check if you have done the following
1. Updated transaction SLDAPICUST with SLD server details information
2. Create TCP/IP connection in LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI in the trnsaction SM59
3. Create the same in the visual admin.
All the details are given in the SAP XI configuration Guide.

Business system is not displaying in Integration Directory

i'm doing RFC to RFC scenario.. here.. upto IR(Integration Repository ) i did every thing fine.. but in ID(Integration Directory ) for assiging business systems i did't get one business systesm. in SLD part every thing i'm getting.. but here for adding the system into my scenario only i'm not getting particular one business system in OBJECTS list...
is it any authorisation problem... because for other users it was getting .. plz suggest me the solution.. for getting

Once the business system is imported from sld then you can assign that business system in any number of scenarios. You are telling tat other users are using it and if so then it should be listed in the object list..check if any one might have deleted the business system instead of removing from their scenario...and if so...you can see the business system in the imported objects from sld.

Standard business contents are not installed in BI system
I am new to SAP Basis Team, Consultants are saying that standard business contents are not installed in BI system. What package should I install or what is the steps I should Do. Following is the content of SAINT

Hi All,
when i was trying to import the tpz from XI Dev into QA (XI Dev and XI QA are using the same SLD)
i get the error:
Import failed because of business system transfer of object Service | RD1: Obligatory transport target for business system RD1 not found in System Landscape Directory
But i already have the RD1 in the SLD and define the transport target, the target business RQ1 is already in it.
what's more SLDCHECK is fine, and i try to clear sld cache but without any luck.

It seems like you have different GUIDs for SCV within XI system and SLD. Thus while transporting it will create the problem, as the GUID conflicts with SLD side GUID.
Changing the GUID is possible but must be done in a consistent way within the XI system and SLD

Business system does not exist in the SLD
hi,
I am trying to export the ID objects into QA, when i get the error saying that "Business system D01 does not exist in the SLD".
I have created the Transport target for the D01 business system in the SLD to point to the QA system T01.
When i try to export the objects and reimport them into QA i get the above error.
Any ideas what could be missing?

I did refresh the cache but no luck. I still see only the QA Business system but not able to see the Dev SLD Business systems at all.

They are pointing to the same sld. If i do an sldcheck from QA XI Server it directs me to the dev SLD. So this is good.
I am using only 1 SLD. Is there a way that i can tell QA to look for DEV SLD instead of QA SLD?

Changes are not Reflecting in WAD
Dear Gurus,
I got a problem in WAD. Changes are not Reflecting in My WAD. When i created NewQuery in WAD by just placing Chart & Saved it. After executing Chart is displaced.Again I updated the same query by placing table and saved it. After Executing Table is not displayed only previously saved Chart is displayed. Could any one Kindly solve my Problem.

SAP BI has HTTP Cache and the web templates are stored in the HTTP cache of the server. So, when you change a template and execute it again - the previous version which is stored in the HTTP cache is being retreived.
To correct this, go to TCODE SMICM in the menu bar >> Goto >> HTTP Server Cache >> Invalidate -> Global in system
Once this is done, ask basis to restart the java engine.

I have repeatedly imported several psd images into LR 1.3, made changes in the develop mode, and saved metadata to file manually in addition to having the auto write metadata option on in LR and ACR. Any changes I have made in LR are not reflecting in Bridge previews or in ACR or Photoshop. I don't believe I should have to utilize the write to xmp options (even though I have been) since the files in question are psd and the metadata gets written directly into the file. If I delete the photo from LR, and even delete the LR catalog (new user trying to make it work with 1 photo at least before importing all images) and re-import the psd to LR it appears with the changes and can backlog in the history panel to it's original state upon import into LR. I would have to be in LR though to know that anything was altered as the other Adobe programs will not display the changes.
If anyone has any help - I would greatly appreciate it!

PS CS3 (updated last week)I don't think the problem lies in the name. LR is after all meant to function as a data base of images and be a companion program to PS - with PS doing the heavy editing lifting. I do understand that PS is a pixel editing file and LR is not. I like the idea of the non-destructive editing that LR has to offer and for a lot of image "developing" I prefer LR's interface to ACR.
In my humble opinion, I just think that the Photoshop family of products should all be able to read the same metadata. If I am starting in LR with a psd file (with layers) and I continue to process the image further in LR and save the metadata - therefore saving the changes - I want to be able to open that same file (not another copy) in ACR, PS, or Bridge and have those changes reflected. The only way to do that currently is to export the file and when you do that you lose the PS layers and the LR history panel or another way around it is you can have edit copies of the same file. If at a later date you wanted to go back and change something, you can't just pull out a layer in PS or undo a history state in LR and with the multiple copies of essentially the same image you end us with any editing history scattered amongst multiple files. I already keep 2-4 (original, psd, jpeg print, jpeg web) files for one image which I think is more than adequate. Which is why I find the current set up so frustrating. For now I have just settled for exporting jpegs so I can see the changes. -
LPA changes are not reflected fully in 2LIS_02_SCL
The changes done to scheduling agreement, schedule lines are not reflecting in 2LIS_02_SCL, and there by resulting errors in delta update in BI system.
For example
LPA RM SCL Quantity (2LIS_02_SCL)
ODS(A) 3001 15 800
ODS(C) 3001 X 15 300
3001 15 800
PSA 3001 X 15 400
3001 15 900
As we are using the Update type Addition,
From PSA, it is clear that the change is 500; this change got reflected in ODS properly.
But when I compare ODS data with EKET data,
LPA SCL ODS(Active) EKET
3001 15 800 900
As you can see wrong validation results between BI & R3
I am missing the below changes happened to SCL in the extractor
3001 X 15 300
3001 15 400
The missing above entry is resulting errors.
Does anybody know how the EKET line changes can be tracked?
How to check the V3 Update, we checked the program: RMBWV302
Does anybody have idea where to track this error.
Note: the above case is happening to only a for few documents

As the datasource 2LIS_02_SCL does not takes this event into account (only MA, MB, MC and MD), this field is not passed to BW (you can see the events per datasource in transaction LBWE)
You are referring to posting of the Material Ledger posting right ? Can you please give some more information about MA MB MC MD as I have verified in LBWE and could not find anything about it except that its picking that GLMNG value from MCEKET table.

In my opinion you would be able to fill it in the customer-exit of LIS (EXIT_SAPLEINS_001) or BW (EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001)
If I add a zfield to the SCL DS and then populate that field with the code in the include ZXRSAU01 , EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001 in that going to help.
Do I have to verify the events MA MB MC and MD while populating this zfield or I can just do a direct lookup on EKET

I have also found couple of SAP Notes on the same issue and do you think implementing those notes will fix the problem without the zfield or code.

the released transport request ended with RC 4 but i didnt find any chane but in quality its getting reflected,

Changes are not reflecting in QA after transport
Hi Everyone,
I am having an issue with the transport in PI. After making the changes in development, i exported the tpz file to Quality. The changes got reflected. Then for testing purpose some changes were done in the Quality IR. Now i again exported the tpz file from dev to QA. But the same changes are not reflecting.
Has anyone faced such a problem? Need your help experts.Hello,
Check in IR > Environment> cache status overview. Is it in green status??
Check if the import of .tpz file is successful in quality IR??

We have recently installed the Portal 7.4 servers.
Currently we are having two servers Development and Quality.We have Configured NWDI using CMS and created tracks(Defined run-time systems as Development and Consolidation) we are able to checkin the activities at NWDS , when we are selecting the component in the consolidation and on click of import we are getting the message as import finished, but the changes are not reflecting at the Quality server. i.e in earlier 7.01 version when we imported , the ear was deployed automatically in quality but it is not getting deployed in the new version 7.4

As per the given link the track is configured with out any issues (When we are clicking on Deployment in the Transport studio it is opening new tab like below and we are not having any errors when we click on Start deployment nothing is happening)

Changes are not reflecting in the Quality
Hi,
These are standard SAP Components. I have imported the ESS and MSS Packages.
Actually 3 Development Components are using in my application (Tra,TraTri and TraTre).Tra is the root DC.
I have made changes to those objects and sucecessfully build without errors.
After check-in all activities those activities are working fine in Development system.
But those changes not refclecting in Quality system. So i was founded build log error in Consolidation.
I was fixed the error in the Development system and build the components without build error.
still now changes are not reflecting in the quality system.
But out of 3 DCs(Tra,TraTri,TraTre) Tra and TraTre are working fine in Quality(changes are reflecting) only problem in TraTri DC (changes are not reflecting in the Quality)..
Please help me as soon as possible....Its very help full for me

When i release the activities after successful build, i export those changes and place them in the import queue of the consolidation system in the CMS.
The export in the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio packs all selected activities into a change request, and then places them in the import queue of the consolidation system.
When the my system administrator imports this request into the consolidation system, the released changes are integrated into the DTR workspace of the consolidation system; the build server compiles the modified components.

Changes to subtasks are not reflected in the summary task
I use Project Professional 2013.
Changes to subtasks are not reflected in the summary tasks. This includes both work and actual work as well as % complete. The tasks are all auto scheduled. Is there a setting that I need to change?The only way I know to make that happen is if calculate project after every edit is disabled (See Options, Schedule tab).
Does this happen in all project files, for other PCs near you and do you have SP1 installed for Project 2013?

Model layer customization are not reflecting on sandbox.

we are doing some changes to model layer in the seeded code, for the fusion apps.
But our changes are not reflecting on fusion apps instance, even those are small validation changes, and these changes are going fine on sandbox (xml file),
But when we are running the application these changes are not reflecting, do need to restart the server to get the model layer changes reflected.
Is there any way to debug our changes in the fusion apps instance.

I am sure if you mean that it works after you restart the sever or you are asking if it will work on doing system restart.
In any case, model layer changes are always done at GLOBAL layer and these changes only reflect after restarting the application. So, server bounce is not needed but application restart is required for changes to be picked up.
