Business use - calling multiple international terr...

First up, this question has almost certainly been asked by someone but I can't find it either here nor in the Skype Support area of the site. To be honest, it could probably be dealt with in about 10 seconds over the phone...
The thing is, I have a "private" Skype account but now I also want to use Skype for business, making calls from from the same PC, so the information I don't seem to be able to find (I'm not brilliant at learning-by-reading...) is:
do I need to download another copy of Skype, to set up a completely separate user profile?
outside of the UK, most of my overseas calls (and there are a lot - at least two per day) are to China, Singapore and the US: what is the best (for which read "cheapest") Skype package - PAYG or subscription?
Thinking about it, is it possible to call all those places on the same package (I think I just saw something on the main site that said I can have 800 minutes of calls to practically anywhere in the world for about 9 quid a month... that can't be right, can it!)?
I'm in the UK - London - so what sort of number will I get and can I choose?
How long does it take for a number to be allocated?
In an ideal world I really don't want to use the webcam when calling: does it matter (I have a Bluetooth headset)?
I think that's about it for the moment...

You will need to set up a new, separate account if you intend to use Skype Manager, seeing as personal and business accounts cannot be transferred back and forth. Some people prefer to maintain a separate Skype account for use with their business contacts, and use another account for their personal lives; some people do not mind using one account solely. I'm in the UK - London - so what sort of number will I get and can I choose? For a Skype Number , the numbers available from which you can select will appear as a list during the process of setting up a Skype Number subscription. You may have up to ten (10) Skype Numbers per Skype account.
How long does it take for a number to be allocated? Usually immediately; some countries require proof-of-residency which can take a few weeks to clear.
In an ideal world I really don't want to use the webcam when calling: does it matter (I have a Bluetooth headset)? Whether you use a webcam as your microphone, an on-board microphone, a USB headset, or a bluetooth headset depends entirely upon the device or computer you use. My requirement is to get a list of names from GetListBS using a single proxy service and to call GetListBS I have to first call LoginBS then GetListBS i.e. after authentication and then finally logout.

Thanks for the response. We figured that it is possible to call multiple services with Split Join. However, we ran into the issue you described. We had a blocking call and had to wait until each of the services returned a response.
However, we needed a Async model for our design and felt that this might not be a right fit.
We are now looking at implementing the publish option with QoS configured as this fits our usecase better. Thanks for the help again.

Best practices for Calling Multiple Business Services in OSB

Scenario:
Program has to upload 1 million records,so can we programmatically create multiple sessions such that after every 50thousand records we create a different session.
For moment due to large number of records BDC DYNPRO and BDC Field are unable to hold the large number of records,due to which we get a Out of memory error.

I do not exactly understand what you mean, but what i already did:

Call Pickup - Users experience One Way Audio when using Call Pickup Orbit to pickup internal calls with internal Lync 2010 Callers

Noticed an issue where when using Call Park Function with users you receive one way audio when answering the call
The scenario is
1) If a user is internal and is homed on Lync 2010 Pool and calls an internal user who is homed on a Lync 2013 Pool and another internal user homed on a Lync 2013 Pool picks up the call with Call Pick Up orbit, Lync 2010 users only hears one way audio and
same for user who has picked up call
2) If the scenario is an External PSTN call or another Lync 2013 user these calls are fine
In Lync Tracing logs a SIP/2.0 481 Call Leg/Transaction Does Not Exist error is returned
Is this a known bug or expected behavior - Call Pickup is basically useless until all users are migrated to Lync 2013 as there is no way of a user knowing whether call is internal or external and if the user is on Lync 2010 or 2013, obviously in my
large organization 2000 users no an overnight thing
Coupled with the fact no Team Call Group\ Simultaneous Ring can be in place for Call Pickup to work im thinking Call Pick Up is not going to happen for awhile
Is there any fixes\ developments that may help this issue or is there a setting I am missing

How to use Call library function node for a function in dll with VOID data type

Hi All,
I would like to ask for your kind help,
I am facing an issue with the call library node.
I have a C++ function(stdcall), which has void as data type
error code XXXX(hwnd, lID, getValue, *void data1, *void data2)
the data1 and data2 types are always changing depending upoin the value of "getValue".
Primarily i can use call library node multiple times and adapt each node according to the data types of data1 and data2, and extract the values and use in the code. Here is no issue. Real question is:

How can i just use one time call library node and make a case depending upon the "getvalue", which will control the data type of data1 and data2. Here i really looking for solutions.
My trials:
i used varaints as input to the call libray node for data1 and data2, and selected Parameters in call libraby node as " Adapt to type". here labview just crashed.
i really appreciate your feedbackand suggestions.

A variant is a very specific LabVIEW datatype (really a C++ type object internally) and trying to pass that to a function, which excepts a flat memory pointer there, for sure will crash very quickly.
As to endianess, yes Unflatten will be able to adjust for endianess, which in this case however is most likely exectly NOT what you want. So make sure that the you select native type for the endianess input on Unflatten from String. LabVIEW internally works with whatever is the native endianess, as will most likely your C++ DLL. The platform independent big endian format does only come into play when you receive data streams over some streaming interface like a network connection. Here it is desirable to use an endian format that is independent from the actual platform that generates and consumes the data stream. LabVIEWs default endianes is big endian here.
But as long as you pass data directly to native components like DLLs there is no difference in endianess between what LabVIEW uses and what those components use.

Collect data from a dynamic XML file into multiple internal tables

I need to convert the XML file into multiple internal tables. I tried many links and posts in SDN but still was facing difficulty in achieving this. Can some one tell me where I am going wrong.
My XML file is of the following type.It is very complex and the dynamice.
The following tags occur more than once in the XML file. The "I" and "L" tags and its child tags can occur ones or more than once for each XML file and it is not constant. i.e in one file they can occur 1 time and in another they can occur 100 times.

But I don't need to use GUI upload because my functionality does not require to fetch data from presentation server.
Moreover, the split command advised by you contains separate fields...f1, f2, f3... and I cannot use it because I have 164 fields. I will have to split into 164 fields and assign the values back to 164 fields in the work area/header line.
Moreover I have about 10 such work areas. so the effort would be ten times the above effort! I want to avoid this! Please help!

Send Notification to Multiple Internal Users

Hi everybody,
how can i send an email to Multiple Internal Users in BPM which are not known at design time?
I know i can use an expression, but i have a collection of type string (EmployeeID's). I can use the method getPrincipalByUniqueName(EmployeeID,"user") but employeeID is a collection and this method expected a single string.

my BPM-WebService will be called with a Request parameter:
users (1..*)
userID (string)
So at Run Time i get a collection or array with userID's like: SD4711, AN4712....
If i use getPrincipalByUniqueName("SP4711","user") i get the right user but i have a collection, so what could i do?
I can determine the interface by my self, so it is not a problem to change the interface if it is necessary.
How can i use getPrincipals(Sting(1..*) principalID)?

Passing select-options values using call transaction method

I have a scenario in which i have three fields BUKRS,WERKS and MATKL in an internal table i_tab and I have MATNR as a selection-option.
After this I have to use call transaction <tcode> for all the line items in the internal table and the MATNR select-option values I have to pass directly for each line of i_tab using call transaction method.
TYPES: BEGIN OF t_tab,
 bukrs TYPE bukrs,
 werks TYPE werks_d,
 matkl TYPE matkl,
 END OF t_tab.
DATA: w_tab TYPE t_tab,
 i_tab TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF t_tab.
SELECT-OPTIONS: s_matnr FOR marc-matnr.
Now I am putting a loop at i_tab and have to use CALL TRANSACTION <TCODE> for each line with the SELECT-OPTIONS for MATNR.
Please tell me whether we can pass multiple ranges for MATNR using call transcation method.
for example there can be multiple single values/multiple ranges/excluded ranges for MATNR. so please suggest me how tho achieve this sceanrio using CALL transaction method of BDC.

Dynamic routing for a Business Service with multiple operations

I have two business services with multiple operations. Business service A (bsA) has operations OpA1 and OpA2. Business service B (bsB) has operations OpB1 and OpB2.
Depending on incoming Proxy message and operation, I have to do one of the following
1. If someValue = A and operation= Op1 then invoke operation opA1 of bsA
2. If someValue = B and operation= Op1 then invoke operation opB1 of bsB
3. If someValue = C and operation= Op1 then invoke operation opA1 of bsA AND* operation opB1 of bsB and return aggregate data of both invocations
1. If someValue = A and operation= Op2 then invoke operation opA2 of bsA
2. If someValue = B and operation= Op2 then invoke operation opB2 of bsB
3. If someValue = C and operation= Op2 then invoke operation opA2 of bsA AND* operation opB2 of bsB and return aggregate data of both invocations
Using a dynamic route node or dynamic routing options, I am able to achieve cases 1, 2, 4, and 5.
But for cases 3 & 6, I can not use a route node. When I use a Service call out instead, then I am forced to create a Operational branch but that does not seem like the best design since for every new operation added to the business services, I have to add a new branch to the Operational branch and redo all the functionality for that branch.
Basically, I am looking to achieve the functionality of the Route node ( no need to specify the operation ).
Any thoughts/ideas on what the best design would be?

For cases 3 & 6, why don't you route to another proxy service where you can simple do two service callouts, merge output data somehow and return them to the first proxy?
If you look for "special route feature", that could possibly call two services for a single message, I'm afraid you won't succeed.

Business Use caser very urgent

In my business use case , i have remotely running multiple clients in native language which will send data to server after every 5-10 sec.Now on server site we need to store that data , as well as we also have web based GUI on which if user will query to see some graphs.
I am evaluating various technologies to server my need with better performance
like
1. Web -services --- will expose some method to push data but problem is that since data is getting pushed so frequently is it good idea to call web services again and again ?
2. Socket based implementation will this help in this senario ?
3. Or something like JMS will serve need ?

Calling multiple BPs from main BP

Hi,
I am using JCAPS 5.1.0.
I'm trying to call multiple Sub BP through Main BP using event-based decision.
I'm invoking 2 WSDL operations in the sub business processes.
Now, only one subprocess is working and while testing the another , i'm getting the following error msg : "wsMsg is null and the associated Fault container is not available.." . Also, i would like to know how to use 'Partners' in the main BP in this scenario since the correct configuration is required to run successfully.

I'm not familiar with tab canvas and setting up new pages. Can you give me an example?
What I tried was setting up two different blocks, one each on a seperate canvas other than the main block's canvas. I called on of them through the button. This seems to work. However, since I'm storing every block on one form and the new blocks are stored on a seperate canvas, the height of the 2 new canvases are shorter due to less infomation to display (as that on the main block). If I shrink the size on the canvas (on the new blocks), it shrinks the display of the main block too at runtime. How could I bypass this?
A few more questions:
I would like to make the blocks invisible until I click the button. I have set the visible property of the canvas to 'No' and when I tab through the form at runtime, those two new blocks are visible. How can I correct this to only display the 2 new search blocks if I click the button only?
Also, on my 2 new search blocks, if I select a value through a double-click, enter, etc, how could I pass that record's value(s) back to the main block (i.e. student_id)?

Firefox making same GET call multiple times

Firefox is making the same AJAX call multiple times for a single event when it should really do it once. Actually, with each single click the number of calls multiplies. I have tested the application using Chromium and Eclipse's internal browser and I have no problems.
I removed all add-ons and started Firefox in safe-mode, but the problem persists.

About Data Transfer In R/3 System
When a company decides to implement the SAP R/3 to manage business-critical data, it usually does not start from a no-data situation. Normally, a SAP R/3 project comes into replace or complement existing application.
In the process of replacing current applications and transferring application data, two situations might occur:
     The first is when application data to be replaced is transferred at once, and only once.
     The second situation is to transfer data periodically from external systems to SAP and vice versa.
     There is a period of time when information has to be transferred from existing application, to SAP R/3, and often this process will be repetitive.
The SAP system offers two primary methods for transferring data into SAP systems. From non-SAP systems or legacy system. These two methods are collectively called batch input or batch data communication.
1. SESSION METHOD
2. CALL TRANSACTION
3. DIRECT INPUT
First step for both the methods is to upload the data to internal table. From Internal Table, the data is transferred to database table by two ways i.e., Session method and Call transaction.
Session is intermediate step between internal table and database table. Data along with its action is stored in session i.e., data for screen fields, to which screen it is passed, the program name behind it, and how the next screen is processed.
When the program has finished generating the session, you can run the session to execute the SAP transactions in it. Unless session is processed, the data is not transferred to database table.
A technique similar to SESSION method, while batch input is a two-step procedure, Call Transaction does both steps online, one after the other. In this method, you call a transaction from your program.
SESSION METHOD
Data is not updated in database table unless Session is processed.
No sy-subrc is returned.
Error log is created for error records.
Updation in database table is always synchronous
CALL TRANSACTION
Immediate updation in database table.
Sy-subrc is returned.
Errors need to be handled explicitly
Updation in database table can be synchronous Or Asynchronous.
