Bussiness area change

Hi All,
We have asset master without business area and depreciation is carried out. But the asset master needed to assign with business area and depreciation is carried out now. We enable the business area fin. reporting in OBY6. The assets have now business area reporting, but the GL account balance in FS10N with the business area is not available (The past data is not reflecting in the newly assigned business area.
Treat this as priority

Dear Murli,
The only way to make this possible is ( I know this is very difficult but left with no other option)
Take dump of table ABLN so that you have existing values for depreciation key in all the assets.
Make changes to depreciation key in all assets to 0000 (you can do this through worklist also)
Repeat Depreciation run, which would essentially menas you are reversing the depreciation.
Now enter the business area in all asset master (again can take help of worklist)
Change the depreciation key to original
Re run the depreciation in repeat mode.
Please test this in quality/test environment before proceeding with production.

A consolidation business area is an accounting organizational unit that represents a central business segment within a business organization and that has a balance sheet which can be included in business area consolidation.
1. u have define new b-area in enterprise structure.
2. assign to co-code.
3. assignment u can set up assignment by
by sales area,
by plant adn divison
path : enterprise structure -> assignments-> sales and distribution -> B area account assignment
u can define and assign the b-areas as per sales area, then u can change B-area according to your requirement.

Payroll area change is not possible

Hi,
When we are doing promotion action, i.e, one paryoll area to another paryoll area, In actions whatever the date we are giving is taking, but when come to org assignment it is not allowing to save with that date and throwing error " payroll area change is not possible at the end of payroll period"
For example: In Actions start date is 04.01.2010, in org assign is not allowing to save the entry with that date, but if we give 01.01.2010, it is allowing to save the record. As paryroll period is starting of the month to end of the month, that is the reason it allowing the start date of the month in org assign, but user wants the record from his desired date..
Please help me on the issue.

Mid-payroll payroll area change is allowed for only a few countries including:
Canada (country grouping 07), the United States (10), South Africa (16), Mexico (32), Taiwan (42), Finland (44), and Spain (04)

You are screwing up the colors by not using color management or at least not keeping an eye what color space/ profiel your source files use anbd what happens when Safe for Web converts them. As a start, perhaps refer to this, then work your way through the Internet wide and far to learn about color management:

Enable Seeded Bussiness Area's and Seeded Workbooks

How can I enable seeded bussiness area's and workbooks that come as part of Oracle Applications. I've found script that would create some seeded workbooks to monitor EUL and other stuff but not anything specific to any modules. Can somebody point me to documentation or scripts that would enable seeded module specific bussiness area's and workbooks.

We are seeing a new issue with the solution provided by the support person for issue 302892066(PWC - Formatting is lost when exporting a report to excel format).
The new issue,
As a result of the fix for case 302892066, column numbers are changed in the generated xls report. This breaks the post-processing formulas used by customers in the Excel reports.

V_T011 - You are changing a function group which does not belong to you

I've read some posts about my problem I report here, but have not found the solution.
In transaction SE54 -> V_T011 -> Generated Objetcs -> Create / Change I can not save the data transport details dialog for standard recording routine.
The warning "You are changing the function group Which does not belong to you" is shown. The change is not saved.
Can anyone help me?

If it would be a Visual Webpart, then you have to pass webpart property in user control as WP property bag/collection so that you will retrieve it in ascx and assign its value to label on load event.
Add below code in Webpart:
