Butons to close together

I created a flash website everthing works as it should except
for i have some buttons to close to each other that the "closer
button" i created to close out of the dropdown is not being read
because the button next to it is overlapping. Is there a way to
deactivate, stop the other dropdown movies so that only the one I
am currently one can function.
I hope this makes sense.

DVI ports too close together

HI, I tried to connect a second display to my Mac Pro (early 2008) last night and it seems that the DVI ports are too close together and I am unable to fit a second DVI cable in the open port. It's very odd, the 2 ports are shifted to the right and not centered.
I have the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT upgrade but everything else is untouched. Any thoughts?
I already see myself giving my machine to be "repaired or replaced" by Apple but I really would rather not of course. . .

Text in Email messages to close together

When I read my Email in the right hand pane,the words are so close together that they are jumbled together and on top of one another. What is causing this ?

WHY ARE THE SKIP PLAY/PAUSE BUTTONS SO CLOSE TOGETHER!??!!?!

i always end up hitting SKIP foward or SKIP backward when i just want to hit PLAY/PAUSE because the buttons are so close together!!! its not like there isnt enough space on the phone to SPACE THEM OUT MORE. it forces me to spend forever trying to find my spot in the podcast/book im listening to. IT IS SO ANNOYING PLEASE FIX THIS ******** DESIGN.

FYI, no one I know or ever heard of (until you) has trouble with the spacing of the iPod controls. The spacing is just fine for me, and would be annoying to me if changed. Maybe Apple could optionally increase the spacing in the Accessibility settings.

JPanel components too close together

Hi!
I have a JPanel with three components (JLabels) aligned vertically....but there are so close together...how can I put a space (like another line) between them?

I don't even know how your code works. Normally you assign a LayoutManager to the panel first and then you add the components to the panel.

Bringing photo closer together and removing space in the middle

I took a one-day course on Photoshop with NAPP and the instructor was showing us how to bring a photo closer together where the objects are closer but it doesn't distort the photo. I don't remember how to do that. Can anyone help? Thanks, Diane

My gradient points are close together... how do you tab to the next one?

Anybody know how to do this? It's a royal pain to spend time trying to click the pixel-wide edge of a gradient marker when they are close together.
Sometimes selecting them in the Canvas helps with the gradient tool, but even then they're sometimes too close together. Any shortcuts?

I also need to know how to select gradient multiple points at a time (so I can slide two adjacent points without having to fiddle with/fix their relative separation)

Need to get 2 fields displaying on same line, but close together

hi -- I have 2 related fields that I want to display on the same line -- the first has length of 10, the second length of 20.
On the same page, I also have some fields that are length 100.
Let's call my first field ID and my second field NAME. I want NAME to display quite close to ID (maybe about 5 characters apart).
I have its Begin On New Line = NO in display attritutes, Field = YES, and col and row span = 1.
But the field of length 100 -- let's call it BIG -- causes problems. NAME displays way out to the right, beyond the end of BIG.
I've tried setting the column span on BIG to 3 or 4; it helps a bit, but not much.
I'm not sure how column widths on a page (if there is such a thing) are defined, but I'd like to get NAME displaying in the
column after ID (or close to it, whatever will help me do this), where the space between ID and NAME is maybe 5 or 10 characters.
How can I do this?

Of the left fields, Site Name, Site Common Name and Description are col span of 3. Latitude, Longitude, Elevation, Date Time Loaded
and Date Format are col span of 2. The rest (the short ID fields) are 1.
Objecttype Name and Lat Name represent the fields I want displaying further to the left. I'd expect Objecttype Name to
be rendered after the end of the first column, which I would think would be just to the left of the short ID fields. Instead,
it looks like it starts after the 2 column fields. For Lat Name, I'd expect that to be rendered at the end of the second column,
which I'd think would be just to the left of the lat/long/elevation fields, but it's after the 3 column fields.
Clearly there's something I don't understand about how columns are set up.

Titles really close together in itunes 8 list view

hey i was just wondering if there's a way to make the list view look more like it did in itunes 7?
i hate the gridlines everywhere and how close the track titles are to each other now. it looked so separated and nice before.
also why did they make this change? was there some technical reason? because i can't comprehend it being an aesthetic choice...

It looks just the same to me with View>>as List. Or clicking the leftmost button near the search box.
There is another option on the View Menu "Show/hide artwork column" That looks rather like what the middle button used to do between list and coverflow - when you are in list view

Buttons Too Close Together

Hello there,
I have read a lot on this board and can not seem to find an answer to my specific problem. Any help would be really great.
I've got a still image taken from a camera that will be my menu background. We shot custom buttons as they needed to be in a specific location. The buttons are in the shape of an octagon, a lightning bolt, a circle, and a dog bone. I have tried creating an layered menu, however we need sound on the menu, and it doesn't seem as if dsp supports that. I then tried using an overlay, which would work great if we didn't have this problem: the buttons are very close to eachother and the four sided button that dsp will let me create would have to either cover one enitre button and a little bit of another, or not an entire button. I hope this makes sense.
When the buttons are highlighted they are outlined in the shapes mentioned above. If there is a totally different way to do this, I'd be glad to hear it.

As far as I know, you are going to be limited by the DVD format. You can only make Rectangular buttons for a DVD. You can use your layers and graphics to make it appear like the buttons are various shapes, but ultimately you have to have it be a rectangle.
Is there anyway you can move the buttons farther apart? Otherwise, consider making the roll-over (the button) only affect half the graphic, and so be smaller. For example, have only half the dog and bone change color so you can have both buttons only on your images but not interfering.

Having problems when aligning footer div and content div close together, in the browsers they are wi

My problem is when I paste text or paste anything in div tag. I have a container that contains everything. I have a content div that contains content. I also have a footer. When I align the footer at the end to content div which is in the container, it looks good until I look at it in a the different browsers, the content and footer are so wide apart. I've tried everything I could to make the browsers look as close as what I do in dreamweaver cs4. Is there a solution to this problem?

Absolutely positioned divisions are NOT a good primary layout method. Here's why:

You should use a CSS with default CSS positioning (which is no positioning at all). And then use margins, padding and floats to align elements on the page. Also, if you want the page height to flex to content (as it should), remove the height property from divisions containing text.

The problem is likely due to the discreet GPU failing. Download gfxCardStatus 2.3 and use it to disable the GPU. This is a temporary workaround until you get your motherboard replaced.

Creating spaces in PDF form- text is too close together

Thank you in advance for all of your tips.
I am a novice to Adobe PDF form creator and I need some assistance. I am creating the forms and I have all my boxes set, but the issue is that I can not find where to space the text boxes from the top line to the bottom. (As we would do with the enter/return key) I have the full letter page to fill but when I print the form it's on a 1/4 of a page and I need all the text to fill the whole page. I don't necessary want to enlarge the boxes to fill the space.
Where can I create extra spacing between each top and bottom lines?

How do I get my Mac Mail signature to be single spaced close together and not what looks like a double space?

I am using Mac Mail on Mac Air with 10.10. I have a multi line signature but it looks double spaced and I can't get it to look like a single spaced signature. I tried different fonts and sizes.

I Finally resolved my problem after much research. On my I pad 4 with retina in the field under settings there is a list to choose from-- ex. Aol,Google, yahoo, etc. I chose other and entered att. Used pw and bingo! Problem resolved. It is somewhat configured a little different; but at least I can get all of my 500 e mails.
apple takes IMAP but this is under pop And at least my persistence paid off. You would think something so simple would be informative to us in a better way.

How can i place text boxes closer together in pages

I have a shape in pages and I am trying to place names inside of the shape. I would like th fonts to be bigger they are too far apart. As soon as I try to make the font bigger they cancel each other out.

If you aren't seeing the Inspector window, type Option-Command-I. Then locate the Inspector Window and click on the third tab.
