Button in Content Viewer always opens the Menu of Content Viewer

I tried about everything. I searched in every Forum for my Problem.
But I couldn't find any answer, so I must be doing something completely wrong.
• I'm using the latest Adobe CS 5.5 to build a folio.
• I'm creating buttons, which work with the indesign preview (in the right hand Menu)
• But everytime I try them on my iPad with the Adobe Content Viewer App they don't work:
By tapping on the Button, the Menu of the Content Viewer App opens and not the preset action (Go to State...)
Please help me, I'm desperate!
Thx

My First Try:
I have got two States, and the Button (the oval in the middle) should switch to the second State
My second try:
Here: by tapping the green dot, the second State (which sits just on top of the dot) should appear.
Like I said, in theory (with the preview function on the computer it works, but not on the ipad

  • Always open the Contents?

I have selected the Auto-synchronize TOC option and it works fine to open the Contents panel book along with the corresponding topic. However, if the user goes to the Index and later opens Help, Help opens with the Index panel.
Is there a way to always open the Contents panel? In other words, have that be the default - not what the user has done last?

    Hi, denc,
When they pass a help call to your .chm file, your software developers can use the HH_DISPLAY_TOC command to open the file with the Contents tab at the front. See this page for more information on the command:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms670083(VS.85).aspx
If the help window is opened in any other way, the most recently used tab is always foremost. Unfortunately, this is standard and non-configurable HTML Help behaviour.

How do I fix that at startup, restart Mavericks 10.9.2 always opens the system preference window?
It is not listed in Login items. I tried all the usual fixes plus Diskwarrior rebuild.

I suggest deleting the Canon Network Scanner from Login Items to determine if that is the cause. Not knowing exactly what it does, I suspect it is intended to monitor the printer's supply levels all the time. It's not necessary to do that. You can always determine the printer's ink supply level every time you print something, when its Print dialog appears. You can also check its supply levels by opening System Preferences on your own, and selecting Printers & Scanners.
Bear in mind Login Items is simply a convenience that loads the programs you specify every time you log in. That feature is less important as it had been in the past since Mavericks will re-open everything that was open when you last logged out, if you select this checkbox:
If you want to add the Adobe programs to Login Items again, search for them using Spotlight. The Adobe programs themselves should not be causing this behavior.

When I start Safari 5.1 in Lion, it always opens the last page opened.  Is there a way to start on the homepage?

That sounds great, but on my system, that box is not at the bottom of my Pref/General page, but is when I log out and put it to sleep.  What is really annoying is that I have to do this every time, instead of unchecking it and it being permanent.  Yes, I have Safari 5.1 and Lion.  I would like to permanently disable this as I too, think it is absurd and not a great idea when banking, paying bills, etc.

  • Alt-zooming opens the menu

When ALT+mousewheel is used to zoom, the ALT press is also interpreted to open the menu, so when I stop zooming, I have to press escape again to get out of the menu. Does anyone else see this? It's a bit of a pain. Usually, when ALT is used as a modifier for something else, it also cancels it triggering the menu.

I have created a temporary fix (hopefully temporary, if Adobe fixes it).

OK, of course, but the fact is it WAS a valid address, one I've been to many times, but sometimes I get that message!
The address you provided, http://,k/ is not a valid address. It never worked and never will work. Valid addresses are of the form http://somedomainname.topleveldomain.
See the difference? Your address will never work. Once again clear your browser cahe and retype the correct address in the browsers address bar. At some point you likely incorrectlt typed http://,k/ into the address bar and that address is not cached in your browser.

Thank you - that all makes sense. It is, indeed, exactly what I did when I upgraded.
I'm also writing this on the machine that crashed a few minutes ago (I posted the crash in another thread). I got back with a 'safe boot' - as I have done a few times before.
I've also de-installed little snitch (and then done a safe-boot & then re-boot ) since that seemed involved. I de-installed Adobe flash, since that seemed to be a problem - I then re-installed the later, apparently fixed, flash. The most recent crashes don't seeme to have a problem with flash any more.
I've posted the various ( generally different ) crashes. I also posted a summary of the similar lines that turn up in most of the crashes.
Unfortuantely, I'm actually trying to use the machine to meet some urgent deadlines and all this is not making it at all easy.
I had had great hopes for 10.7.2 - I thought that the crashes must be pretty common, so would have a common aetiology. There do seem to have been some fundamental changes to the file sytem and to the video interface (that seems to cause problems to brand new iMacs as well as to my 2009 iMac).

  • Why do applications always open the last document or page viewed?

I love my Mac.  But since I got my new iMac and OS Lion, I've had a hard time with one option and I can't figure out how to turn it off.
When I open Excel, it opens the last document viewed.  Even when I click on a new document, it still opens the last document.  When I open Safari, it takes me to the last page viewed.  Its very annoying, probably useful to someone other then me. How do I turn this feature off?
    Thanks
    Jim

That is part of Resume, a feature that re-opens the documents that were open when you quit.
You can turn it off system-wide in the General System Preferences.
On a per-app basis, you can only use the cmd-option-q shortcut or menu to close all windows and quit.

I have tried the alt +B to open a menu/show menu option in tool bar but nothing happens at all.

  • How can I configure my Macbook Air to always show the menu bar when in full-screen?  I hate, hate, hate it popping up and then going away all the time.

I cannot find a way to change this in System Preferences.  When I have applications open full screen, my menu bar disappears.  Then when I try to move between tabs, I find it is always popping up & then disappearing.  I really just want to set up my computer so that the menu bar always displays in the foreground. I find this popping up & disappearing intrusive and annoying.  How can I fix this?  I hate, hate, hate this about my MAC...
I have searched the full User Guide, Quick Start Guide, etc.  and cannot find a way to fix this.

Don't use the full screen arrow in the top right corner of the window.  Instead, use the green + in the top left corner.  That takes the window full screen just below the menu bar.
