Button tool lost :-)

Hello,
Some months ago I threw out by mistake some buttons from the Navigator frame. I have now no button to organize the columns in my navigator. Where can I find back those basic buttons in the tool list to put them back in the navigator ? The name (in french if you know it) and category where they are in

From the FCP menu bar: Tools > Button Bar > Load, then choose which set you want.
Don't know the French names for those menu items, sorry.
If you want to display the menu in English temporarily:
Close FCP then open "System Preferences" and choose "International". The icon has a UNO flag.
Make sure the first tab is selected "Language" and drag English to the top of the list.
Open FCP and follow my instructions above. When you have your button bar back, close FCP and return to "System Preferences".
Drag French back to the top of the list.

Attach script to a button/tool

I accidentally posted this in the photoshop list. oops. anyway...
I have several scripts that I use all the time and I was wondering if I
could create custom buttons/tools that would execute these scripts,
rather than going through the file>scripts menu?

No, not like in InDesign, for example.
The workaround is to include the scripts inside an action, but then - as a special service - you will lose the scripts in that action as soon as you quit and relaunch Illustrator.

Quality decreases in iPad when use the button tool

I have a vector image (EPS file) and there is a close button on the right top corner. when i click on the close button it will be hide. For this I have used Multi State Object and Button Tools in indesign but when I look on the iPad everything works perfectly the quality of images are decreasing, it is converting to the raster images. Do you have any idea for this? Please suggest.

Actually my concern is not button. Simple I am working on indesign, there is a text box with red background and some text (i.e. Vikas) in the blue color. I have created MSO and release all states to the first state, deleted everything in the 2nd state (i.e. 2nd state is blank). after that created a rectangle frame tool using "F" and converted it to button and add the action "Go to State" with keep the state as "State 2".
Uploaded the indesign file to the folio. Downloaded, and every thing is working fine here (i.e. when we click on it the frame is hiding, nothing is there) but if we zoom in, the text "Vikas" is showing as blurry. which was typeset in the indesign file.

Default button is lost when JInternalFrame is iconified

Have you already noticed that the default button is lost (loses its characteristics) when the JInternalFrame is iconified? Is there any workaround for this?

CS3 - Button Tool - blue alignment lines

Have just converted to CS3 on Windows.
The button tool's blue "alignment" lines are annoying. I guess they are good for aligning things but are they good for anything else?
Can they be turned off?

yeah, i understand how it should work and stuff, but i dont think i understand exactly how to use what you've given me. this is what i have now:
I left out pane because i get the error listed at the bottom. with swing included or not.

I can no longer get my address bar, back or foward buttons, tool bar, menu bar or anything else. How can I restore?

When I open Firefox I do not get an address bar only Google comes up. I don't get a back or forward button nor do I get the tool bar or menu bar. There is no default button. I read the forum but I can not make any corrections because I don't have a tool bar displayed. I am using 3.6. When I turn off my computer and then turn it back on, the default settings still do not return.

It is a long while since I tried Google Toolbar, I am not sure what it changes. But I would not expect it to totally remove your options to use the ordinary toolbars.

I hope you do not need to resort to editing registry settings, the firefox 'dragons' in prefs are user friendly compared with Windows registry. Messing up firefox prefs only really affects firefox normally; whereas errors in a registry edit may prevent you from even booting the computer.

My firefox toolbar disappeared and I can't do what the solutions say because I don't have a back arrow, file button, tool button, bookmark button, help button, or navagation bar, so how do I get my toolbar back?

How do I restore my firefox toolbar? It was my main toolbar. My other one is google. And then another site tried to install a toolbar that I did not want. When I unchecked to get rid of it, apparently I unchecked the firefox toolbar by accident. I don't know if that's what happened for sure, but I'm guessing that's what happened.

Programatically add button/tool to the "Quick Tools" Toolbar (plug-in)

Hi,
I've been porting an old version of a plug-in we had built for Adobe Acrobat Standard/Pro and I'm having trouble finding a way to add an already created toolbar and button to the "Quick Tools" toolbar.
I'm able to create a new toolbar and a button/label that appears under the "Tools --> *name of my toolbar*".
It is possible, after the button exists to manually add it to the Quick Tools toolbar, through the Menu option "Edit the current toolset", selecting the tool item and adding it to the Quick Tools toolbar.
I would like to automate this by doing it programatically, after adding the toolbar/button.

Is there any other way to place a plug-in button on a visible toolbar? Now the button appears in the (newly created) toolbar hidden under the Tools sidebar, on the right.
I would like to ensure that by installing the plug-in the users would have a noticeable way to recognize that it is installed and working properly.

Where are Logic Pro X 10.1.0. right hand mouse button tools shortcut?

Hi Everybody,
I've always used my right hand mouse button for my editing tools in the main window and piano roll window.
Since the upgrade to Logic pro 10.1.0 I can no longer assign from Preferences>General>Assign R.H Mouse.
Has anyone resolved this problem?
Is there a new place to find the shortcut to assign tools to the R.H.mouse button.?
I like to use the mouse and not have to keep going to the top of the page assign 1 tool and use control and click. It takes way to long.

Hi Sai,
Better option is , Disabling the "Diagnosis" buton for few users rather deleting button.
You can use user role as parameter and at button (Diagnosis) level write logic.

What is this button / tool / feature ?

After upgrading Firefox to v.29, next to the new Open Menu button there is what at first sight appears to be a blank space but which on closer inspection has six grey dots forming a triangle in the lower right hand corner, giving it the appearance of a resizing tool. By clicking and dragging on it, I can change the width of the Firefox window, in just the same way as clicking-and-dragging on the right border of the Firefox window. If I right-click on it and choose "Remove from Toolbar" it disappears, but reappears as soon as I restart Firefox.
Is this simply a redundant resizer (or, more accurately, "re-widther")? If so, is there any way to get rid of it?

If Firefox opens up fine with no problems, it's probably one of your extensions that's causing the issue. You can re-enable your add-ons one by one until you find the one that causes the issue upon being re-enabled.

Button functionality lost in converting to AS2

I have a series of buttons, grouped within a parent Movie
clip. Each individual button has a MC of its own, and the button
sits inside that second MC. The event handlers are attached to each
button.
Since converting the code to Player 7/AS2 I have lost the
button functionalityand can't seem to figure out why.
Any suggestions?

if you button worked in as1, it will work in as2 as long as
you don't have any uppercase/lowercase inconsistancies and you
initialize all your variables.
also if you added a mouse event to a button's parent (or any
ancestor), the mouse events will be intercepted before your button
can respond.
