Buttons Keep Moving In Finished Product

Every time I open a particular project the buttons move to places other than where I placed them when I saved the project. I marked the "free positioning" button before I saved the project. How do I stop them from doing that?

iDVD is a consumer application. Maybe even a Prosumer app. But it is not a professional application. For this one would need DVDSP or Final Cut Studio.
Consumer apps tend to work with assumed calculations and/or settings. Professional apps like FCP and DVDSP won't assume much of anything. You need to tell it what it is you wish to do. And you have much greater control of all aspects of authoring a DVD.
My suggestion is to look into DVDSP / Final Cut Studio for more precise control over all of these features.

Why does the bookmark button keeps moving from navigation to bookmark toolbar when I don't put it there; how to solve this?

Because my screen isn't that big, I want my bookmark-toolbar-items (the item for the special bookmarks folder) to take all width, and I want the bookmarks button on the navigation toolbar (because I don't need such a long url field).
As you can edit the toolbars and their buttons, I did change it to what I want, but whenever saving & closing the edit-window the bookmarks button (with the drop-down menu) moves down one toolbar automatically. This is very, very annoying, not the least because in the editing mode it is ok (it also is saved correctly).
Any way to overcome this problem?

When the Bookmarks Toolbar is displayed, the Bookmarks button automatically moves from the Navigation Toolbar to the Bookmarks Toolbar. This is intended behavior. I can't tell you ''why'' though, as it doesn't make any sense to me either and I likely find it twice as annoying as you do.

Try resetting the device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). When the Home screen redisplays, see if the issue has resolved itself.

MIC's of finished product should get transferred to Semi-finished product

Hi all,
I have the following requirement
Based on the Customer requirement, sales order will be created. Two line items will be created in the sales order.
First item: 100kg
Second item: 5 kg (this will be the sample to be sent to the customer for approval)
first item and second item will have different material codes.
Now the process order will be created,released and confirmed. 04 inspection type will be activated for the material.
The MIC's of the finished product ( A) should get transferred to the semi-finished product (A1)
For X customer the MIC's for finished product (A) is a1, a2 and a3 and same should get transferred to semi finished product (A1 )
For Y customer the MIC's for finished product (B) is b1, b2 and b3 and same should get transferred to semi finished product (A1 )
The material code for the finished product will be different, but the semi-finished product (A1) will be same always.
When ever inspection lot gets generated the MIC's of the finished material should get transferred to semi finished product
Kindly provide your valuable inputs to address this scenario

I think I understand what you are attempting to do. The bottom line is that you are trying to use one material number to serve as the "sample material" for all your products. Lets call the sample material mrtrl# 9000122.
You have a make to order process so you first create a process order for the product and inspect it according to the customer's requirements. You make the UD.
Now when you make product A, you want those characteristic MIC values to copy to the sample material 9000122 inspection lot which is created from a separate process order using product A as the raw material.
When you make product B, you want those MIC charcteristic values to copy to the same sample material 9000122 to an inspection lot created from a separate process order using product B as the raw material.
I am guessing the intent is to keep the batch number the same between the FERT product batch number and the sample material.
I would like to suggest to you two other alternatives which I'm not sure will work for your design but I think it is worth a try and might save some work.
1) Have you looked at setting up your sample product as a by-product of the first process order? You can confirm the finished qty and the sample qty from the same original process order. This will then create your two 04 inspection lots. You would recrod results on the first primary product. Then enter results recording and I think you'll be able to have that set up to copy over the resutls from the primary product. If you can't with the standard SAP, I beleive you'll find the ability in copy inspection results to add your own custom FM that would do the copy for you that you are looking for.
Of course the inspection plan for the by-product sample will have to have all the characteristics in the plan that could ever be expected from any primary product using this process.
2) The other possibility would be to just have the person making the UD on the primary inspection products inspection lot, to post a sample qty "to other quantity". They would always of course post to the sample material. If the characteristics in the lot match up to general characteristics in the batch class for the sample, the resutls will be transferred to the batch. Report your sample reuslts from the batch record and the specs from the inspection lot in the COA.

Finished Products At Real Real Cost

Hello Gurus,
I'm working on a requierement where the cost of all finished products need to be calculated according to:
1) Real material price of all components (raw materials and only raw materials of semifinished products)
2) Real material consumption of all components (raw materials and raw materials of semifinished products)
The actual costing structure is configured to calculate costs on the material list and operations. Also, the system is configured with the standard price control for semifinished and finished products and MAP for raw materials. We haven't activate the material ledger yet.
Standard cost cannot be modified.
In resume:
Standar costing and all the process is working fine, but we need to calculate real raw material consumption and real raw material consumption of the semifinished product that is being used in the finished product at real prices.

Poor video quality of finished product

Hi all,
I have produced an mp4 file using imovie 08, in which I changed the MP4 settings in various ways such as setting the frame rate to 59.94 fps (as used by my Sanyo Xacti camcorder) the resolution to 640 x 480 and the data rate to 10,000 kbps. Some of the footage I used is from a Canon ixus stills digital camera - 640 x 480 30 fps, the rest is from the xacti - 640 x 480 59.94 fps. I produced the mp4 file for the edited video in PAL format, and I believe that means 25 fps.
When viewed with Quicktime on the mac, it looks great. However, when burned, (and I have ensured that encoding is set to professional quality) I have played it on both the mac and my TV's DVD player and in both instances the video does not flow smoothly (it seems as if there is a problem with the frame per second rate??). It is lovely and smooth however when viewed as an mp4 file in Quicktime. Also, this does not only apply to the 60 fps footage from the xacti but also to the 30 fps footage from the Canon. AGHHHH Very annoying!

Don't know if this will help or not, but have you tried going into Expert Settings when exporting to Quicktime? It's Share>Quicktime and then when it asks to Compress Movie, select Expert Settings from the dropdown menu, then hit the Share button, then in the next window that opens (Save Exported File As..) choose Options, and a whole range of alternatives opens up. Maybe you've been there.
My personal hang-up is the titles. No matter what you do, they always seem to end up as low resolution with ragged edges on the finished product.

Dismantling of a Finished Product

Hi Gurus,
I am facing a Problem
My client sends a finished product 'A' to his customer.
It is returned back as customer return and Quality people does quality inspection and keep it in the block stock.
Now my client wants to dismantle the finished product 'A' and
use the component which he got by dismantling the finished product 'A' in the new production order.
For that after dismantling of the material 'A', The BOM of Component of finished material 'A' has to be updated in the stock.
How can I map this Senario.
Please guide me.

Checkout this procedure,
1.A production order without material using CO07 will be created .
2.And in the BOM components will be entered in - ve quantity,so that their stock will get uploaded using 531 movement as a By-
Product.And enter the header material in + quantity so,that its getting issued using 261 movement.
3.But for this ,the same has to finalised with FICO & MM consultants as accoutn determination for 531 movement should be
configured.

Can SAP stop UD of finished product if UD for component is not taken ?

The situation is as follows :
1. UD for a batch of raw material is pending
2. This raw material is issued for manufacturing a finished product
3. The UD for the finished product is taken and the batch is approved
Is there any provision in standard SAP where in the above mentioned situation the system can give a error/warning message to the user to tell him that the UD for some of the components is pending ?

Purchase requisition generate for alternative bom use for finished product

i hav alternative BOM for finished product in which different raw material component in both BOM of same finished product.But when i RUN MRP that time only one raw material requisition generate another alternative bom raw material requision not generate.
Is there any option when i RUN MRP that time we select one of the alternative bom component of raw material for generation purchase requisition.

MRP will select the BOM based on the MRP4-BOM Explosion tab -Selection Indicator .It can eitehr of these ways :
1.Maintain Production Version with different Alternative BOM and keep Selection Indicator -3 .So sysetm will look into only the Valaidty and lot size of the Production version and select the correct BOM to explode and generate PR for depednts based on stock situation
2.If you maintain Blank -then it will look into order qty and select the BOM according ly
As in your case , selection methods 3 will fit and you need to maintain PV with correct validity and lot size in MMR-MRP4-PV option .
Try in sand box with different lot size and validity with indicator-3 .Create Order and run MRP-MD02-1,,3,3,3,2

When we post goods receipt in subcontracting inventory account is debited with finished product.What is the account name to which offsetting entry is made & how to configure this in automatic account determination.
1) Same question was already asked and moved to T&P form.
2) Basic question.

Stocking Level- Two levels below the finished product

I want to maintain stock two levels below the finished product in MTO environment...How can i acheive this in SAP...Also i want to maintain forecast one level below the finished product..Please give ur expert opinion in order to achieve this requirement..
Actually scenario is Packed liquid is my finished material and forecast is given at liquid level and both these levels are not produced until a sales order arrives...i am taking liquid as SFG, please suggest otherwise if i m not moving in right direction.

Yes, LR 6 will convert (by making a copy) your catalog, and you can then edit in the new version. You must take some caution, e.g. in operations that change your actual images (such as writing metadata or moving images around).
The safest thing would be to NOT convert your catalog but rather build a whole separate work area of images and catalog that is disposable, but it is certainly possible to test LR6 in place if you are careful and aware of what operations you take.
Note you can run LR 5.7.1 and LR 6 (aka CC) from Creative Cloud at the same time as well -- you can even go back and install prior versions from the CC app.

I have to keep moving mouse for items to upload to photobucket

When I list an item on Etsy and upload the photos or upload photos to photo bucket I have to keep moving the mouse or the upload stops. This was not an issue before the new version 4.

* then open windows explorer and navigate to your C:-drive and then the ''mozilla-build'' folder. in there you'll find a file named ''start-l10n.bat'' - just double-click on that.
*in the black terminal window that opens, type in: ''easy_install mozregression'' & hit enter
*once this process is finished, enter ''mozregression --good=2013-06-24 --bad=2013-08-05'' into the same window.
*now the process will automatically download browser builds from the time the error first occurred - just wait until a firefox "nightly" window opens and test if you can reproduce the bug there. then close the browser windows and enter ''good'' or ''bad'' into the terminal depending on if you got the error this time.
*this process will continue automatically until the exact date is found when the bug was introduced in the browser - the window will then display a so called regression window and a pushlog. this is the critical piece of information we'd need, so developers can take over and start fixing what's going wrong...
*you can then close the terminal window and delete the ''C:\mozilla-build'' folder again

These are various classification for utilization purpose
IDH Removal from factory on payment of duty for Home use
IDE Removal on payment of duty for export under no bond
and there are two or three more i dont remember exactly, but you can get that by searching.....
