Buttons suddenly stop working!
Hi all,
For some odd reason, out of nowhere, some of my buttons that I have created decide to stop working.
As an example, I have a button that takes the user to slide 56 when quit. The action i have on this button is "On Enter Jump to slide 56"
It has worked perfectly fine for days, now out of nowhere it has decided to stop working on all of my pages. I created a new button from scratch with the exact same action and no luck.
Would anybody be able to suggest why this is happening?

ok I was nearly ready to throw in the towel....
I had followed all those hints and tips apart from hiding in bulk as I have so many dependencies it's unreal!!
I bit the bullet and hid 200 slides between the slide that stopped working and the slide where it will not progress past... and guess what... the button worked!
so now I have to just narrow down 200 slides to the corrupt part or parts....
I would rather debug 10,000 lines of code at least I can step through that with breaks!!!

Buttons suddenly stopped working
Yesterday I noticed that my center button was acting up, I had to start pushing it in a certain way to get it to register. Earlier today, I was listening to a song and suddenly, none of the buttons would work at all. I can still scroll with the wheel but the center button, play/pause, menu button, etc. all do absolutely nothing now, so I can't really do anything with the iPod. How can I resolve this? Is it purely an issue with the internal hardware? I didn't believe it was because they were just working perfectly moments before and then suddenly transitioned to being completely non-functional.
EXACT same thing happened with me today, coming home on the bus all my buttons stopped working except the scroll. I could change the volume that was about it and i also have a 80GB classic ipod, guess i'll have to take it to the apple store since its not been resolved!

List Buttons Suddenly Stopped Working
Hi all,
I built an admin section for a website I did using nextensio lists and forms. Suddenly the edit and delete buttons on the lists dont work anymore. I did see the php fix on this website and uploaded the updated files, but it didnt work. What is interesting is if I removed the class from the edit link and replace it with KT_link, then the edit button works! I deleted all of my includes files and then generated them again and uploaded, but nothing besides removing the class on the button has worked.
Anyone have any ideas?

Those classes for the buttons are required by ADDT so they should not be removed.

"buy" button suddenly stopped working
After many years using the iTunes store with no problems, suddenly today when I click on the "buy" button, absolutely nothing happens. It still works on my husband's Windows machine, but not on my Mac... is this a new bug??
I just had this problem while using Snow Leopard 10.6.3. Then I checked "Software Update" (on the Apple Menu), it found a free upgrade to 10.6.8, and the problem's gone. Check Software Update to see what kind of system upgrade you can install for free, and that may well fix it. (Upgrading to Snow Leopard only costs $20.) I think it's a new iTunes issue with older systems.

Recently I was listening to my music, and when I went to change to a different song, I wasn't able to wake my ipod with the sleep/wake button. It's like it's not even there anymore. And when I shake my ipod I hear this rattling sound, which i'm pretty sure means that it's broken. But why is this happening, it's happened to a couple of my friends ipods, and I haven't even had mine a year. Is there anyway that I can fix this?
I had exactly the same problem. I took it to the Apple Store and they peered up inside and said I had "obviously used some corrosive liquid" on it, so the problem was not covered by the warranty. I have no idea what "corrosive liquid" it could have been--I am very careful with my iPod, keeping it in a case, etc. The only thing I could think of was sweat from the gym, but they said that wouldn't do it. So they basically gave me a replacement one but charged me $150! I have been extra careful with the replacement one, but after 2 weeks, it is having exactly the same problem.
I just did a hard reset (held down the Sleep/Wake button and Home button simultaneously until the Apple Logo appears. Now it kinda works sometimes. Sometimes I have to push the button multiple times before it goes to sleep.
This is extremely frustrating as I am very careful in handling it. Makes me think there is some other problem with it, or these things are just so fragile they can't take the wear and tear of normal use. -

I am using an iPhone 4 16GB Factory Unlocked.
My end call button has suddenly stopped working. The icons at the bottom of the screen are also accessed randomly.
i have tried everything recomended.
Updated to the iOS to the latest version 4.3.5. Did a complete reset of the set. rebooted the set several times. But so far nothing seems to work.

My iPad3 has suddenly stopped working, it won't charge up and the screen is blank I have tried to reboot the device by holding the top and home buttons but I don't even get the Apple logo. any advice?
Plug it into the charger/wall socket and let it charge for at least an hour. It just might start charging. If you have already tried charging it for a fair amount of time and it didn't work, try restoring the device with iTunes.

Press and hold down for at least 10 to 15 seconds, both the home and power/sleep buttons until the Apple logo shows up on the screen.
This will reboot the iPhone.
Its likely the iPhone crashed, and you need to reboot it. No data should be lost though. -

Dear All, the backspace and enter keys on my wireless keyboard suddenly stopped working. Im using OS 10.7.5 and have tried a PRAM reset which didn't work. I also used the keyboard viewer to see if the keys worked on that but they don't. This is driving me mad, can anyone please tell me what to do? For my computers, though some of them support BlueTooth devices and accessories,
my preference and economy of standard, is to have wired USB and also use powered
USB hubs for accessories.
I've used USB wired keyboards and mouse products; and some I've bought from the
original owners who had upgraded to BT, and never used the new Apple USB model;
so I have spares of these on-hand since they seldom fail, but do work when BT won't.
{A SMC reset should not cause a problem, or seldom has; but can solve some.}
In my opinion, the wired USB keyboard is an essential accessory, if not a necessary
primary means of user access on a continuous basis. At least until the wires fail...! -
HP Pavilion dm1-4000au Entertainment Notebook PC_Keyboard and Touchpad Suddenly Stops Working
Hi there,
I have an HP Pavilion dm1-4000au Entertainment Notebook PC (QG411PA) running Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit for more than a couple of years already. During those times up until now, whenever my laptop is on standby for an hour or so, its keyboard and touchpad suddenly stops working, regardless if its running on battery or on AC power.
I always ensure that I have an external mouse in order for me to navigate properly and pull up the on-screen keyboard in order to type once that issue arises.
All appears to be updated in terms of Windows Updates and I even reformatted it, but issue still persists.
Is this particular issue that I am experiencing a harware issue? Perhaps a software issue? Or maybe a defective model itself?

It looks like you are facing difficulties to resolve Touchpad Issues with your Notebook
We will surely assist you with this
Steps to drain the Static charge and loading default BIOS settings to resolve the issue
Step 01. Turn OFF the Notebook
Step 02. Un-plug the Power/AC Adapter and also remove the Battery too
Step 03. Press and Hold the Power Button of the Notebook for a full minute
Step 04. Now let's re-insert the battery back in and plug back the Power/AC Adapter
Step 05. Start the Notebook and keep tapping F10 Key during the startup to access the BIOS
Step 06. Once you get to the BIOS, Please press F5 or F9 Key to load setup defaults for the BIOS
Step 07. Now let's press Esc/Escape Key. Save Changes and Exit - Yes
Step 08. Now please wait till the Unit loads the Windows Operating system
Now please download and re-install the touchpad drivers for your Notebook from the HP Support Site

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP -
I receive Adobe updates on a regular basis without any problems. The other day, my Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0 (Editor) function has suddenly stopped working. Windows cannot seem to solve the problem. I can open all the other function buttons without any problems just not the most important one which is the Editor Function. Has anyone experienced this situation and knows what to do?

Acrobat x Pro 10.1.3 suddenly stopped working
Today Acrobat suddenly stopped working insofar as it just would not start. Looking in the task manager shows it starts then stops.
This is on a Win 7 x64.Found this by an Adobe Staff Member if this other post http://forums.adobe.com/message/4507225#4507225 and it seems to work.

For all the users who have faced a problem where Acrobat did not launch after 30 days of serializing with a suite serial number, please execute the following workaround:
Make sure you are connected to the internet.
Launch a regular CS6 product other than Acrobat or Flash Builder (for example: Photoshop, After Effects, Premier Pro, InDesign, Flash Professional, Illustrator, Dreamweaver.)
Click on Help->Deactivate .
Deactivate the application. Quit application.
Launch a regular CS6 product other than Acrobat or Flash Builder (for example: Photoshop, After Effects, Premier Pro, InDesign, Flash Professional, Illustrator, Dreamweaver.)
Accept Eula.
Register trial by signing in. Let the app launch.
Quit and relaunch the app. Wait for UI to come.
Click on License This Software button on the UI.
Click on Sign in .
Serial number screen will come
Enter the serial number in the serial number screen and click Next.
Quit app and relaunch the app while connected on the internet .
After this if you launch Acrobat it will launch and run forever without trouble. In case you still face a problem , try relaunching the other CS6 app once more and then launch Acrobat.

Firefox 3.5.25 suddenly stopped working, have old computer this is as high as I can go
I have a mac powerbook about 5 years old. The only version of FF I can use is 3.6.25 and have been using it all along. 3 days ago it suddenly stopped working. I lost my igoogle page. Icannot sign in as the button does not work. When I try to search nothing happens. I reinstalled it 3 times, still nothing. Works fine on my ipad2.
It's tricky to try to troubleshoot this one as 3.5 isn't really supported anymore. However, as you reinstall Firefox, all your settings are actually still kept in your Profile folder, so if it's related to your settings, reinstalling won't fix the problem.
What you could try is creating a new profile and see if that solves it -- note however that this will be like installing a second copy of Firefox and you will not have access to any of your bookmarks, passwords, etc. It is basically like starting from scratch (though your information is still kept in the original profile -- they can both coexist).
