Buy 3 Movies--Get One Free Promo

We have been bombarded by the promo "Buy 3 movies get one free" for all of January.  Emails galore, plus every time I use the DVR menu it's there.  The promo is to buy 3 movies in one calendar month and get one free, but redeem free movie within 7 days.  I bought 3 movies -- the last one on 31st and never received a message to redeem free movie.
Called Verizon--on phone for 45 minutes--nobody knew anything about this promo.  Then I was told you have to redeem the free movie in the same calendar month as the ones you bought (this is not stated in the promo).  How does this make sense?  Wouldn't the promo have to be to "buy 3 movies in the first 3 weeks of the month" in order to redeem within 7 days and still be in the same calendar month? The CSR understood this non-logic.  So then he said when you rent the free movie, the amount will be $0 when you get to the cost page.  Tried that--did not work.  I would be charged $5.99.
The CSR ended up crediting us one movie as he couldn't make heads or tails of this promotion.
If anyone knows any other way to redeem the free movie within 7 days of the last rental, please explain, because I cannot make any sense of it, and there is no message anywhere on our guide, menu or VOD menu to redeem free movie.

I have saw several people discussing the BOGO on the droid but I can't find anywhere that mentions this am I just overlooking it? Could someone please post the link for this, I am eligible for an upgrade and am considering adding a line as well to my account so this would work well for me if I could find out more information about the BOGO.
Thanks,
Johnita

    Hi Friends,
    Thanks for your valuable replies,
Gordon, as you have suggested. Now, for the time being to start with - the user must enter the odd quantity in a seperate row.
if the Product order qty is 5
    Product .............. Qty 4
    Sale Item A ........  Qty4
    Free Item B ........  Qty2
& Sale Item A...... Qty 1 ordered in a seperate line.
Hope to find a solution for the same soon.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Buy 1 and get one free....

In a buy one get one at same value or lesser. I am eligible for a new phone, but wife is not. But can I use the free phone to upgrade her phone even though she is not eligible for a new one?

The Buy One Get One free (BOGO) is only available if you have two lines eligible for upgrade, or if you start a new line of service with the free one. If her line is not eligible and you do not want to start a new line of service, then you do not qualify for the BOGO deal.

  • Pricing question! "buy x amount, get one free" type items

    Hi all,
I've been going through all of the portal but I haven't found anyone who has mentioned the ability to make this functionality work. We have a customer who would like to make an item where you can do a true buy 5, get one free type. There are many different names for this but nothing came up on any searches. It isn't a true discount percentage as the first 5 items are still at the original sale amount, we just want to include the 6th item at no charge.
We've been thinking of different methodologies to alert a sales employee when they select the item, but really we'd like it to work like the hierarchies and expansions. Any input would be appreciated, thanks!!

    Hello Michael,
I had this situation and i solved it through an Addon.  DI API to be exact.  Hope this helps...

  • Buy one get one free promo

My husband is eligible for his upgrade but the rest of us aren't. He is thinking of doing the BOGO for the Droid. This may be a ridiculous question, but am I able to activate the second Droid for myself even though I am not yet eligible for an upgrade? We used to all be able to upgrade at the same time, but things changed so we are all different and I really wasn't sure how that worked.

I have saw several people discussing the BOGO on the droid but I can't find anywhere that mentions this am I just overlooking it? Could someone please post the link for this, I am eligible for an upgrade and am considering adding a line as well to my account so this would work well for me if I could find out more information about the BOGO.

  • How to set up 'buy one get one free' modifier in Advanced Pricing?

I am able to setup a promotional goods modifier and give the quantity of the promotional item as 1 and discount as 100%, but this works only of the quantity ordered for the primary item is 1. If the ordered quantity is 'n' (say 10), then the discount becomes 'buy n (10) get one free'.
Does anyone know a solution to this?
    Thanks.

Photos and/or videos in your iPhone's Camera Roll can be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera.
Contacts are designed to be synced with a supported address book application on your computer. If you aren't doing this and don't do this with your iPhone 4 that is being exchanged and you set up your replacement iPhone 4 as a new iPhone, your contacts will be lost.
With Windows, this can be with Outlook 2003 0r 2007 along with syncing calendar events, or with the address book application used by Outlook Express with XP, or with Windows Mail under Vista and Windows 7 called Windows Contacts for syncing contacts only. This is selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
If you don't use Windows Contacts for storing contacts on your computer - the address book is empty, before the first sync for this data enter one contact in Windows Contacts. Make this contact up if needed, which can be deleted later. This will provide a merge prompt with the first sync for this data, which you want to select. Do this with your existing iPhone 4.
When you first connect your replacement iPhone 4 to iTunes and select set up as a new iPhone, select sync contacts with Windows Contacts under the Info tab for the iPhone sync preferences. With the first sync, all contacts in Windows Contacts will be transferred to your iPhone and will be kept synced with Windows Contacts with future syncs.

  • Rent one get one free

Hi,sorry if i'm missing something here but i've just received a flyer about rent a movie get one free but I cant find it anywhere on the sky website. If anyone could enlighten me it would be much appreciated .Thanks

The link might work but the offer doesn't. I get the message " Hi Mervyn, click below to get your free rental ", so I click only to be taken to a new page with this message: " We're sorry, it doesn't look like you're eligible for this offer. " . So that's twice now I've missed out on this & how come I only find out there are offers through threads like this? Where's my emails to let me know if I qualify? I'm really ****** off with this. I see this in the Ts & Cs: " Offer available to selected customers only. " In that case don't let me think I'm entitled by saying " Hi Mervyn, click below to get your free rental ". Why am I not a selected customer? I have Sky+HD box & access to Sky Store, what more do I need?

    Hi Veroku_Chan,
It’s not too often that Best Buy runs a buy one, get one free promotion on video games and I was absolutely thrilled when I saw the announcement. However, I immediately questioned how long these games would be available considering they included some pretty fantastic titles. From what it sounds based on your feedback, this is certainly a “get them while you can” type of scenario!
To answer your main question, this promotion applies both on BestBuy.com, as well as in select Best Buy stores. If you find any of the games included in the promotion at a Best Buy location, you should be able to take advantage of the promotion. Please click here for a list of the included games, as well as further details about the promotion itself.
Thanks for posting and please let us know if you have any further questions! As a fellow gamer, I hope that you’re able to take advantage of this promotion before it’s over.
    Cheers,

  • Hi I want to know if there will be buy one get one free iPhone 5

Hi I want to know if there will be buy one get one free iPhone 5

    $500-$600+ electronic device.
I am in the UK so it's not 500-600+ More like 800-900+. But I see your point.
Sorry, just like to point that out at every opportunity

  • Buy one get one free

    Hi there,
With business catalyst's ecommerce, how would I go about offering a buy one get one free deal?
Basically, when a customer buys any product from our store, we want them to receive another of this same item free. This will apply to every product in the store.
Ideally we would like this to show on the invoice and on the checkout, and anywhere else appropriate.
    many thanks.

There might be a better way but one suggetsion you could add the second free product as an attribute to the first, it wouldn't show up as a separate line item in the order but the information would be there with the first item and on the invoice as an attribute. You would hardcode the attribute selection in your HTML or with javascript so that it automatically selected the "free option attribute" when you added to your cart so you wouldn't have to get the user to select the option.

  • Buy 1 phone get 1 free

My phone and my husband's phone are both up for upgrades. My question is...
Can we both get different phones that come with buy 1 get 1 free?
We do not want the same phone but our children (grown)
and on their own could use the other phones we get.  Also Verizon customers.

All of the buy one get one deals I've seen from Verizon are for the same phone. And you do not need to be a new customer, just both eligible for upgrade. Only my experience.
when was the last time you did it?
    both being eligible isnt free...
If only one line is eligible you will NOT get 2 phones.
buy on get one free is only for NEW customers... it encourages a person wanting a phone to get 2 lines by giving them a FREE phone.
Feb. 2011 bought intensity II for $29.99, got one free. I had 2 lines that were eligible for upgrade, not new lines.
based on that you are not eligable now
Correct, but I'm not looking for the deal just sharing my experience.

  • How to configure take one get one free offer scenario

    Hello Experts
I am quite new to the field of SAP B1
I am stuck at one case scenario, please help
    i)     Make sales with take one get one free offer (Eg: With purchase 1 paste same item offered free)
ii)     In Sales document both the item should be displayed,  with price of 1 item

    Hi Jiss,
You can also uncheck the "Allow Stock release without item cost" under company details--> basic initialisation and release such items in the marketing documents and also making a bom of such item would be better.
    Regards,
    Joseph

Apple does not provide SIM cards, carriers do.
Go to your carrier and get a SIM card.  Whether it is free or not is up to them.

  • Discount Groups - Items.  How to get the Buy One Get One Free discount in the Marketing Document

    Hi Experts,
Can anyone help on this one please?...
Under Stock Management -> Price Lists -> Special Prices -> Discount Groups -> Items -> I have selected a specific BP and then have selected a specific Item Code.  I have stated the Paid Qty as '4' and the Free Qty as '1'.
The option 'Do Not Apply Discount Groups' is not ticked on the BP or the Item Master Data.
There are no Special Prices for this Item for the BP.  Nor are there any period and volume discounts.
Can anyone think of a reason why in the Sales Order I can never get the discount when putting in '3' in the Qty column on the SO please?
    Many thanks,
    Caroline

    Hi Gordon,
Thanks for your email, and sorry for the confusion!
I believe that when I enter '5' into the sales order the discount should come up as the Paid Qty is '4' and the Free Qty is '1'.
Either way I can never get the discount into the Sales Order...
Can you help please?  I was wondering if I had missed a setting somewhere or something...
    Thanks,
    Caroline
