Buy a mac with German credit card
Hi!
I am currently in the United States (well, actually I am in Mexico, but I'm living only 5 minutes from the border, which means I go to the States quite a lot). I am originally from Germany and would like to buy a MacBook Pro in the States. I want to buy it online and then pick it up at the nearest Apple Store. However, when I get to the part where they ask for the credit card and billing address, they won't accept my German billing address. I am guessing they won't accept my German credit card either (it's visa btw).
Since I am in Mexico I can't use the apple store chat and calling the customer service is too expensive. Do you guys know if I can just use the address of a friend living in the US or does the address I provide have to be identical with my credit card address?

probably not as it will know the card isnot registered in the US and may even charge you for postage. could you not get it from your country? I maybe cheaper (with the exchange rate) and quicker for delivery

I live in Greece and except from a greek billing account I also have a french billing account with a credit card because I lived in France for some years. Now, I want to buy, for different purposes, OS X Mountain Lion with my french credit card. Can I do sush a thing if I leave in Greece? Will I have to change to the French Mac App Store to buy it and if yes, if one day I want to reinstall it or install it on another Mac will I have to to do it from the French Mac App Store? Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534 - only works for new accounts! You must follow the instructions exactly.
Since you already have an account you probably don't want to make another one (you cannot merge them later). Or I guess you could for the sake of the free stuff and then carefully manage your accounts in future. -
Buying with parents credit card
I'm a college student and my parents want to buy me a creative cloud subscription as my birthday gift. I study in the States but my parents live in a different country. when I try to put in their payment information, I can't change the country of the billing from US to their country of residence. Is there a way I can do this?

However my bank called me and said that Apple charged me 4 times the amount of 1 dollar. At the end I still can't use the iTunes store, and I have 4 dollars down
Note that the $4 is not really a charge but a hold used to verify the card.

Hello! I have a problem with a credit card. I bought one program, after that i wanted buy one more, but it wrote that with my card something wrong. After that i wanted change my card (VISA) on "NONE". But there no NONE! I can't download FREE apps! Than I wanted make new account and select NONE, but there no NONE, there only cards. Help, please!

Is the card registered to exactly the same name and address as you have on your iTunes account ? If it is and you've checked with your card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page and see if they can help : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

You can buy an itunes gift card and redeem it to your account and then buy whatever is available to your iTunes region.

I would like to buy a book and deliver it to USA but I live in EU. As it is not possible to deliver outside my region, I've been thinking on this:
1) Make a new AppleID with the address of my relatives in the US.
2) Pay with my Credit Card.
My only hope is that there will be no problems in the payment, the locale and the delivery.

I haves USA iTunes account, but I also have an apartment in Germany and a German credit card.
While I am here, I would like to use German apps, such as Sky Go (I have Sky here), but I cannot figure out how to add my German address and credit card so I can access the German app store.
I have tried many times to contact apple support about this, but so far have no solution.
Can anyone help me?In order to buy german apps you'll have to make a german Apple ID. To do that you have to:
1. Open iTunes on you Mac/PC.
2. Scroll down until you see a round flag indicating which country's iTunes Store you're in.
3. Click it and search for the german flag and click on it. This will change the iTunes Store you are using into the german one.
4. Create an Apple ID for that iTunes Store, you have to use a different email than you have in the US one though.
Now when you log in with the german Apple ID it should lead you to the german iTunes Store. -
When i first created my itunes account it selected the local country i lived in, now i have changed countries and it does allow me to buy any apps as the credit card is not valid in that country. what do i do?
You will need to sign into your account using the iTunes app on your Mac or PC and change the region/country for your account. If you do not have a bank card for the new country, you should be able to make purchases with iTunes Gift Cards if they are available in the new country.
