I am going to buy an iPad for my business but am not sure wether to get an iPad 2 or 3. I need it for my work I ama real estate agent. Any suggestions?
Why buy the previous model when you can purchase a new model with more features and a lower price (new.)

Sushil RaisinghaniWell, first you have to come to the US to do that. When you do you will pay US sales tax in the state where you purchase it. Understand that once your return to India your warranty will not likely be honored, so you will have to return it to the US for any warranty repair. If you have it repaired in India by a non-Apple certified shop, then any further warranty will be voided.
Keep that all in mind before doing what you plan to do. You may find it is wiser to purchase it in India from an Apple certified reseller or retailer. -

I believe you can only look a your emails if you have a eircom email account and you can not send or answer them with a eircom account if this is so can anybody tell me if there is a fix for this problem or would i better off just useing another email account that will work with ipad Reason i ask is i am just about to buy a ipad air and if this is not possible to use my email address to send emails from my ipad i would be better off with my laptop Thanks Napster

Im planning on buying an Ipad. I already have an itunes account for my Ipod touch with a bunch of music, and apps. When i buy said ipad (and i connect it to my account) will all the apps/ music automatically download themselves or will i be able to choose the apps/ music that will go to the ipad?
You can choose which apps to install. App Store > Purchased > Not on This iPad.

Yes, and there are a couple ways to do this, and it may depend on what kind of songs you are talking about.
If you purchased songs from Amazon's ecosystem, and it is stored in their cloud, you can do the following:
1) Download their app.
The app is called Amazon Cloud Player. The link is here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/amazon-cloud-player/id510855668?mt=8
2) Download the songs from their cloud, to your computer and then sync with iTunes
This is the method I use, and all the music is then stored in the Music app, already on the iOS device. The upside to this method would be that all the other applications you have can access these songs too, such as apps for an alarm clock.
3) Upload pictures and songs to Dropbox
This way all the content is stored in the cloud, and can be accessed anywhere and anytime.
For the pictures, you're most likely going to have to sync with iTunes to do that, or you can put them in Dropbox. -
I already have an ipad2. If I buy an iPad mini will I be able to download the apps I have already bought on to it and use them on both machines?
If you connect the new mini with the same AppleID you have on the iPad and you used to buy the Apps you will be able to download them again for free.
You can even let your iTunes do all the work for you. Sync your iPad with iTunes and make a backup. Give to the new mini a different name and the first time you will connect it to iTunes yiou will be asked if you wish to setup it as a new item or use the backup of the iPad. -

Why Can't I use an Apple Gift card to buy an ipad!?!
So, I received an apple gift card for graduation from college. It was $500 and I wanted to use to buy an iPad.
The person at the apple store said I was not allowed to use a gift card to pay for more than %50 of an iPad.
My question is...WHY? They got their money when someone purchased the gift card, what does it matter?
I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this issue, or knows why this is apple's policy. It just doesn't seem to make sense to me.That is a very, very big assumption.
Apple could simply check the gift card and see if the purchase of that card was valid. They would have to Do that anyway to verify the amount on it anyway.
Not wanting to pony up the cash could be a sign of naughtiness.

So I'm planning to buy a ipad but as I read if I buy one of the qualifying products or ipad I can get a $50 apple gift card. Will I get the gift card with my ipad or should I go to my nearest apple store and buy ipad and get the card. Oh and can the gift card be changed for a $50 itunes?

I have been looking at the Ipads for a while now. I have some concerns though. First, I am NOT a techy of any kind!! So my question is; What is the difference between wifi and a simcard(?) What I understand about wifi is...if you are in an area with free internet.. you can excess it. If not, then you can't. What is a simcard? Is this what you would use like a turbo stick..such as internet on the go... or is this a data plan for the Ipad, like I have for my phone? If so, I take it that it would mean a monthly bill of what or however I set it up... Please be kind with your responces.. I am a older person who wants a new gadget.

You don't really compare a SIM card directly with WiFi. What a SIM card indicates is that a device is designed to connect to cellphone service, in the case of an iPad a data-only service for connection to the Internet. The SIM card works with a technology called GSM (don't worry about what that means); the SIM card is just how the iPad is identified to the cell carrier (in the US, that would be AT&T).
Your choices of connecting an iPad to the Internet are therefore:
WiFi - wireless network connection which uses a device referred to as a "hotspot" or "access point" (and sometimes a "wireless router") with an Internet service provided by some other company. You may have this at home, with your own WiFi router and Internet service, or it may be found by some other location, such as a coffee shop. Cost of WiFi at home would only be the cost of the router and the fee you pay to your Internet provider. Other locations may or many not involve a cost. The advantage of a WiFi connection is speed (compared to a cellular data service) and cost (no monthly fee other than your Internet provider). The disadvantage is that you have to be in range of a WiFi service; that range is usually on the order of 100 feet or so.
Cellular - this is a service provide by a cellphone carrier. This allows you to have your iPad connected to the Internet wherever the carrier offers service, which may be in buildings, parks, while driving, etc. just as with a cellphone. You pay a monthly fee to the cell carrier for this service. The advange is of course that it's available in many places. The primary disadvantages are the monthly cost and slower speed in the connection to the Internet.
You can have both with an iPad if you purchase your iPad with both systems included; iPads are sold WiFi-only or WiFi+3G ("3G" refers to being capable of connecting to a cell network) You are not obligated to sign up with a cell carrier if you buy the iPad with that technology; most carriers allow you to sign up month-by-month, and in some countries the carrier has a pay-as-you-go service. If you tell us what country you're in, someone can tell you more about the available cell plans, if you're interested.

What are the benefits of buying an iPad 2 with wi-fi, or with 3G when I already have an iPhone 4 with 3G? My plan with was to go for wi-fi and connect to the internet through my iPhone 4. Am I missing out on anything by not getting 3G?

As Phil said, iPad mini is smaller; for most, it fits in one hand. It also has a better camera, and can take advantage of more software features like Siri.

Yes you can. In iPhoto create a Album with the photos you want in it. You can drag them from your Events folder. In iTunes with your iPad connected go to Photos by cliking on your iPad. You can then select the album or events you want. -
