Buy Apple product from another store

If I buy Ipod touch 5 from Best buy, can i bring it in to the nearest Apple store for a "personal setup'?

I'm not sure why you would think it's reasonable to ask one company to help you with something you bought from another company, especially when you could buy it from the second company to begin with. Not only that, but what "personal setup" do you require that you cannot do for yourself?
After all,
Install iTunes onto your compter (download iTunes from the Apple site)
Import your music into your iTunes Library
Unpack the iPod
Plug the iPod into your computer and wait for iTunes to see it and perform a Sync.
Disconnect the iPod.
Enjoy
If you have specific issues with importing your music (for example), then this forum is the place to ask, not an Apple store.
If you're that desperate, and have no friends who could help you, then buy the iPod from an Apple store. You will of course, have to take your computer into the store for this to be of any use to you. And I'd book an appointment with the store first, because if you simply turn up while they're busy...

After when i connect the iPHONE with my PC the itunes didn't sync the product and delete in my iPHONE the old application. Now i want in my iPHONE the old product and the new. Can you hel me? Have you a suggest.. During the start of the sync iTunes identify the all application in but not sync with iPHONE.

I had this problem too and my roommate solved it!
Go to 'Settings'
'Music'
Scroll to the bottom and enter your password to log onto your home sharing
Then connect to iTunes and sync!

ITunes store keeps saying that my session has timed out when trying to buy a product from the store

I Tunes is telling me that my session has timed out when trying to buy a gift voucher, which i have done many times before.
The most recent change i'v made to my computer before this happened was to download an update (MacOSX updatecombo 10.7.3dmg)
a couple of weeks ago. I'v turned off the firewall as suggested whilst trying to transact and turned it back on again, but don't know
what else to try. The problem is three days old as i left and came back to it to see if there might be a glitch in the system.
I'v been able to access the credit i have in the store, but not buy the itunes voucher to email to my own a/c. Please help someone if you can

Thanks for your suggestion Ned01, I tried this as a last ditch attempt, unfortunatly it made no difference in my case, but i'm pleased it did for you. However, because you reminded me to have another go at this problem, i tried something else (which i'd unsucsessfuly tried before), that is, i deleted the 'CLICK & SAVE " a/c i'd set up recently, and reverted to my previous payment me and would you know it , this time it worked !! I set up a trail purchase and it worked.
It seems to me that other poeple with this problem have to solve it by trail and error, but thank you for your help.Sandystone..

If you make an appointment at the Genius Bar about a problem, they will check and evaluate the device, and if it warrants a replacement under warranty, they make the final determination. We are users here. This is a user to user support forum. We cannot determine what Apple will do. I can tell you what I already did, the warranty follows the device.

How to unregister apple product from apple id i no longer have access to?

I just now found out apple the apple id support page. I've been registering my Apple products and when I got to my Macbook I got an error message saying this product is registered to a different apple id.
I went ahead and went through the process of typing in my current and previous emails and all I end up getting is an option to change my current apple id's password. I've only had one apple id which I have changed the email to once, so I have no access to another apple id.
So basically, I'm asking if I can disconnect an apple product from an apple id I don't have access to, so I can register it to the only Apple ID I use? Any help?

I am feeling so ripped off right now. I have wanted a Mac for years and believed the hype about it's stability and I have had more trouble with this Imac 2011 than I have ever had with a pc. It locks up with several software products from APP store.

It locks up with several software products from APP store. I have already had to have a technician to look at it and really couldn't figure out what the deal was. I was told that the APP store software should give me no problems but the truth is that it locks up on the software. This machine is only 4 weeks old and I am using 37 g on a 1 T hard drive. There is no reason for it to be locking up. Also, when I try to use the help program, it always tells me that I am not connected to the internet even though I have used both the mail program and the browser with no problem just before that. I successfully used the help program on my pc lots of times. I did not need a $2000. plus machine to just get email. I just wanted to unload on somebody that might understand my pain and after checking out this site...I think there is a few of you out there.

The apps downloaded from the Mac App Store are written by third party developers, not Apple. If you have problems with those apps you need to visit the support area for their websites. Launch the App Store, locate the app name. You should see a support link.

Go to ~/Library/Preferences. Move the com.apple.helpviewer.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash. Restart your Mac, try the Help menu.
If you need help finding that file, hold down the Finder icon in the Dock then click: New Finder Window. From the menu bar top of your screen click: Go > Go to Folder. Type this in exactly as you see it here: ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.helpviewer.plist That will take you right to that file.
(.plist) files stores information about a particular app or in this case, the Help viewer. Often times deleting the .plist file resolves the issue.
It's fine to "unload"... we understand that you expect your iMac to be stable but there are times when things go awry. That's why we have these forums so that you can you get help.

Again, what product? And from the Apple Store, or the iTunes Store? I presume you mean the iTunes Store since you mention a "Purchased" list, but I'm not sure.

I live in country A and when I log on to the itunes store I´m automatically connected to that country´s store.But I know that certain films I would like to rent are possible to rent in the US Itunes store. To rent from the US store you have to register an apple id in that store and to do that you have to have a valid billing adress within the US and a valid credit card from the US. Is there any other way I can connect to the US Itunes store from another country?
