Buy Back Purchase from Sales order

Hi,
I have this scenario and need advise how should I go ahead. end customer buys some material (Jewelry) from a particular sales unit. A standard sales order cycle is run for this. after sometime, the same customer comes and sells the same material back from where he has purchased it. for that sales unit, this should be booked as a purchase in stead of sales return. for this, is it possible to create a purchase order based on the original sales order? My requirement is, the purchase order being made should pick the same prices as in the sales order for that material.
thanks,
Binita

  • Back-to-Back PO from Sales Order

On Sap B1 2005 when we made a Back-to-Back PO's from Sales Orders the Sales Order information stayed on the screen in the background and was very handy when doing a multiple line items as we put the list prices on non-printable text lines for future reference.
Now with 2007 the sales order information disappears and the only way to keep the information on the screen is to save the order without ticking the PO check box, then re-open it and then tick the PO check box.
    Why would SAP do this?

  • Item text from sales order to purchase requisition

    Hi Experts,
    I have below queries ,
    1. What are the controls to generate/create a purchase requisition from a sales order.
Is this possible that a Pur. req generated from a sales order but sales order is not its account assignment.
How item text from the sales order can be copied to purchase Requisition, does settings in purchase requisition in SPRO (Purchasing Purchase req-text for purchase req----define copying rules) works only for automatically created Pur req.??
item text from sales order can be copied for PR created through MRP or planned orders converted to PR.??
I will appreciate if someone can provide me documentation on basics of sales and distribution at my email
    [email protected]
    Thanks in advance

    hello, friend.
i can only answer part of your question as i am not sure of the others.  however, yes... you can automatically create a purchase requisition from the sales order.
one example is third party sales.  because of the item category group that you specified in the material master, the sales document determines an item category (and schedule line) that controls the creation of the purchase requisition.  here, the system knows that you must source the material from your vendor for delivery to your customer.
further, as in the above case, when your company creates the PO with reference to the PR, your company appears as the buying entity but the ship-to address is that of your customer.
i did not understand your question on account assignment.  please elaborate and we'll see if we can come up with the answer.
if you wish to see documentation, you could refer to SAP's article on Third Party Sales.  other scenarios such as just-in-time inventory for trading companies or make-to-order companies may also apply.
    regards.

  • PO Text copy from Sales Order to Purchase Order

    Dear friends,
    Hope everyone is doing fine.
I have the following business requirement for two situations
Scenario 1) Purchase Order text from the Sales order has to be copied to the purchase order. Here sales order is converted to purchase requisition, and later the requisition is converted to the purchase Order.
The standard SAP config is working absolutely fine for this.
Scenario 2) Purchase Order text from the Sales Order has to be copied ot the purchase order. Here sales order is converted into a planned order, planned order is converted into purchase requisition, and later the requisition is converted to the purchase Order. For this situation, the text is not getting copied from Sales order to the requisition/purchase order.
This is not working as of now with the configuration for the above scenario 1.
Please throw some light to solve the scenario 2.
Please let me know if there is a config or do we need to use any user exit or BADI to achieve this.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Sam Matt ;
You can benefit from MM:Define copy rules for PR texts .
I checked , you can copy from sales order , like a belowed screens.

    Hello,
Please check all the things mentioned by our experts e.g Source allocation ,infor record, source list.
Beside that I would suggest check document flow whether already PO is created or not.
If every thing is in place then try to create PO with reference to PR by transaction ME21N & see what error you receives.
    Hope this help you ,

  • Copy control from Sales Order  to Purchase requisition

Can any one guide me how to set this, which fields need to be copied from Sales order to Purchase requisition.
    Vasu

I don't think so sap has provided this kind of control but you can configure certain things as item category level for thirdparty in SD
    SPRO-SD-sales-sales document-sales document item-define item categories
here you can check for item category TAS or you can create your own

  • Copy Control From Sales Order to Purchase Order

    Hi Experts,
I want to ask how the copy control from Sales Order to Purchase Document can be done? Because they are instances that the users have some items in the Sales Orders not copied to Purchase Document.
    Thanks a lot!

    Hi Experts,
I have seen the documentation for 3rd Party Sales, thanks to some suggestions. However, there is a report which does not work in our Test Environment, the program name is SDMFSTRP. As suggested by some forums, this is another way of connecting Sales Order to the created Purchase Requisition. So I'd like to ask if there are other ways to connect the 3rd Party Sales to the created Purchase Requisition.
And also may I know your scenarios when there will be missing items from Sales Order to Purchase Requisition. There are some instances that from Indent Orders, some SO items are not copied to PR.
    Thanks a lot!

  • Data Transfer from Sales Order to Purchase Requisition

We are trying to transfer data from Sales Order to purchase requisition in an individual purchase scenario.
We want to copy value in KUWEV-KUNNR in Sales Order and paste in CMMDA-KUNNR on purchase requisiton.
So in user-exit "USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_ME_REQ" on include "MV45AFZB" we added the following code:
    FORM USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_ME_REQ.
DATA:   BEGIN OF IT_VBEP OCCURS 0,
            VBELN LIKE VBEP-VBELN,
            BANFN LIKE VBEP-BANFN,
            KUNWE LIKE VEPVG-KUNWE,
            END OF IT_VBEP.
DATA: BEGIN OF TI_VBAK OCCURS 0.
            INCLUDE STRUCTURE IT_VBEP.
    DATA: END OF TI_VBAK.
        SELECT A~VBELN   B~KUNWE
INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE IT_VBEP
FROM  VBAK AS A INNER JOIN VEPVG AS B
                              ON B~VBELN = A~VBELN
        WHERE A~AUART EQ 'PDIR'.
       LOOP AT EBKN.
           LOOP AT IT_VBEP.
                IF IT_VBEP-VBELN = EBKN-VBELN.
                  IT_VBEP-BANFN = EBKN-BANFN.
                ENDIF.
                MODIFY IT_VBEP.
           ENDLOOP.
       ENDLOOP.
    *Break-point.
    SORT IT_VBEP BY vbeln.
    LOOP AT IT_VBEP.
      IF EBAN-BANFN = IT_VBEP-BANFN.
        EBAN-KUNNR = IT_VBEP-kunwe.
        MODIFY EBAN.
      ENDIF.
    ENDLOOP.
    * Example
    * EBAN-LIFNR = zzfield1.
    * EBKN-KOSTL = zzfield2.
    ENDFORM.
    *eject
Right now it turns random values on the purchase requisition field.

    Hi,
Why are you using only the following line to read the VBEP table?
    WHERE A~AUART EQ 'PDIR'.
Shouldn't you be using a sales document number or something more specific than document type?

  • To copy data from Sales order to subsequent purchase order

    Hi all,
My requirement is to copy Ship-to party address and Incoterms from sales order to subsequent Purchase order.
I am using exit EXIT_SAPFV45E_001 for this.
My doubt is - in which tables, Ship-to party address and Incoterms for a purchase order are stored? So that I can copy them from Sales order and update Ship-to party address and Incoterms for corresponding purchase order.
In exit I can access sales order number and corresponding purchase requisition.
    Thanks,
    Sachin

what business scenario is this? third-party-order-processing? in that case SAP standard would submit the data from the sales order to the purchase order (via purchase requisition) automatically, see documentation: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/dd/560287545a11d1a7020000e829fd11/content.htm

  • Update Purchase Requisition from Sales Order

    Hi,
My requirement is to Update Purchase Requisition from Sales Order based on the Vendor number in
    Purchase Requisition .
    I have used Userexit         :- MV45AFZB
                     Customerexit :- EXIT_SAPFV45E_002
                     BADI             :- ME_REQ_OI_EXT, ME_REQ_POSTED
for my requirement, but in vain.
Of these Userexit  MV45AFZB, Customerexit EXIT_SAPFV45E_002, BADI ME_REQ_OI_EXT are getting triggered in Sales order creation but, Purchase requisition is not yet triggered and we dont have the VENDOR value with which i need to do perform some checks and update the Purchase requisition.
After I SAVE sales order, BADI ME_REQ_POSTED is getting triggered. Here, the purchase requisition is created ( not yet inserted into the database ) .I also have required VENDOR value, but in the given
BADI ME_REQ_POSTED I can make checks according to my requirement but not able to update the new values into purchase requisition.
Literally speaking, Iam struck up..Dont know what to do.....
Please let me know any Userexit/BADI/BTE where I can  Update Purchase Requisition from Sales Order based on the Vendor number in
    Purchase Requisition .
    Thanks,
    Shivaa..

    Hi Max,
    It just struck to me...
As suggested by you, I thought of calling BAPI BAPI_REQUISITION_CHANGE  from user exit USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT in MV45AFZZ .
I f I give PReq no. , BAPI BAPI_REQUISITION_CHANGE  will take the particular PReq no., from database and then change it according to our requirements...
But, in our scenario I am calling the BAPI BAPI_REQUISITION_CHANGE  and passing a PReq no..which doesnt exist in the d/b itself.....
    Anyways, let me try......
Meanwhile ,please suggest any other options for resolving the issue in question......

  • Creation of automatic PO from sales order in 3rd party scenario

    hi ,
we know, as per standard SAP ,  creation of PR from Sales order happens when we save SO. how to create PO automatically from sales order? and where where to put document type for  that PO ? ( in schedule line category we can set document type for PR)

    Hello
In addition to what Kapil suggested,
3 - The Outline Agreement or Purchasing Info Record shall be maintained which will allow the automatic copying of unit price and other conditions into PO and
4 - The Source List shall be maintained for the nominated vendor which was shown in either the Outline Agreement or Purchasing Info Record.
By activating those config you can automatic create PO from PR.
For that use TCode ME59 to automatically convert the current PR into PO.
But, you can not automatically generate PO from sales order similar to that of PR.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Creation of PO from Sales Order

    Hi
Please let me know if there is any standard oracle functionality by which we can ensure that Purchase Orders does not contain items from sales orders. e.g. if there are multiple sales order then one PO should be generated for each sales order.
At the time of Requisition Import, we can specify the parameters like
    1.     Buyer
    2.     Category
    3.     Item+
    4.     Location
    5.     Vendor
There is no parameter like Sales Order , so we’ll end up creating PR from multiple sales orders and then PO would be created from PRs.
Let me know if we can achieve the functionality of create unique PO for each Sales Order.
    Thanks,

If you have different vendors for items on a sales order, you will have to create different POs.
Assuming all items go to the same vendor, you can consider a simple customization as follows
Write a before-insert trigger on the po_requisition_lines_interface and make the requisition_number or group_code same for all items on a given Sales order.
That will make the Requisition Import program put all such lines on one requisition.
    Hope this helps,
    Sandeep Gandhi
