to update the controller to the latest versions of software, i must purchase a new license for the specific version? for example from WLC 7.6 to 8.x i must buy a software upgrade ?
Who can help me ?

OK the release from the physical point of view can be updated, but we have to buy the upgrade for a different major release? to avoid losing support

I think the fine print says DVD Player support requires 10.3 or higher. But you can still play DVDs in the original drive you have, and are looking to add a drive in the empty bay, right?
Also, Patchburn is available for 10.2 to add native burning support, or you can maybe find an old version of Toast (5 ?) for 10.2 that should allow you to burn to the drive.

I agree with the suggestion to upgrade to 10.3 or 10.4, if you can, but you should be able to make this drive work in 10.2 (and still use the original for OS 9 and DVD Player) and decide to do the other upgrades later on if you want.

Unfortunately we do not sell DVD for CC. Internet connectivity is required for the first time you download/install and license the software.
If the machines are in the connected to a slow network then in this scenario you may download the application from:Download New Adobe CC Trials: Direct Links (no Assistant/Manager) | ProDesignTools,
copy it on a DVD and install on rest of the machine.
Note: Please remember that internet connection is till required to activate the subscription.

It sounds as though your wireless network is protected with a WEP Key or similar encryption method and you have not entered the correct key into the iMac when attempting to join the wireless network or have not selected the appropriate key type from the drop down list. Quite a common situation is that if your password for your wireless network is a hex key, i.e only contains the numbers 0-9 and letters A-F then you need to select WEP Hex Key as the password type when joining the wireless network not WEP Password.

They're very nice, and from my own experience they've always found a solution for me. When you're frenzied it's sometimes nice to talk to a person instead of fill out a form. First you need to make sure you have a supported machine, and all the current updates (Core 2 Duo, i3/5/7 and 10.6.8.)
If you are using Microsoft Office 2004/8, then you will need to buy Office 2011. If you are using older versions of Adobe Photoshop before CS3 that are PPC only, then you will need to buy a newer Adobe CS.
If you are running iWork 08, it will work, but there will be no support for full screen unless you have 09 version. If you use Apple software like Final Cut or Logic Studio, you will also need the latest versions to use full screen support.
Basically, if you have any software installed that is more than 2 years old, you need to check if it is Intel, PPC or Universal. Because anthing that is listed as PPC will not work at all. And most Apple apps older than 2 years do not have any support for the new Full Screen or Versions features.
If you want to see if you have any PPC apps that are not supported at all, simply click the Apple icon at the top, click about this Mac, then click more info. System Profiler will open, on the left side click on "Applications" and you will see a list of every installed app. The far right column will tell you KIND, Intel, Universal or PPC. Anything in the list that says PPC will not work after installing Lion.

We have a license for Crystal Report XI. However we need Crystal Reports Release 2 since we are using .Net 2.0. I just tried installing the Crystal Reports Server on out test web server and it would not accept the license key we have. Do we need to get a new key?

Buy additional license for elements and premiere elements 8 bundle?

Can I buy an additional license for my Elements 8 and Premiere elements 8 bundle or do I have to buy a whole new package?
I just purchased this bundle and even before I got home my teen daughter had it loaded on her laptop. I wanted to load it on my laptop and my main computer.
If I can buy a license how do I do that?

If both your daugther and you need to work on elements products, then I would sugesst you to buy a new serial number.
You dont necessarily need to buy a PEPE bundle again, say if you daugther if just using PSE and you need to use PSE and PRE both, then you need to buy a serial number only for PSE as PRE anyway you are using only on 2 machines.
For buying a new serial number, what you can do if just install PSE and PRE on you laptop with the current serial number you are having. When prompted that this serial number is already used on two machines, then click on the link to buy a new serial number on the same screen. Until then, i believe you are safe because that means may be your daugther is just using PRE and you just PSE or vice versa.

New modem for upgrade to Triple Play?

I currently own my own modem for Comcast internet but am upgrading to the Triple Play and know that I need I modem that also is telephone capable. I have my own router. I have been told to buy the Arris TM722G (or Arris TM862G for included router). My research shows that the Arris TM822G is newer and better but a comcast rep at the local electronics store said it won't work even though I see people on the forums use it with success. Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
Does anyone know how much the new licenses (per DB server CPU) for OWB 10g R2 (Paris) cost?
Is it correct that the features for the modeling of SCD 1 and 2 are not included in the basic "Core ETL Features"?
If I'm using the the SCD 2 features to develop the OWB mappings do I also need to license the "Enterprise ETL" for the production server?
Related to the previous question: for the production DB where I only need the runtime part of the repository is it required to license any options?

Maurice, not sure what to say. If you've been using OWB, then you don't lose any functionality going to the new version, and it will be "free". You simply won't get any of the new functionality (all of the old functionality is included in the "core" features)
However, as I said in the other post, I hope Oracle reconsiders the SCD 1 / 2 / 3 licensing. To me, SCD type 2 are not "enterprise level" functionality - that is base level functionality for ANY data mart or data warehouse. I have no problems with paying for options the other ETL vendors are charging for (data quality comes to mind...), but if we deploy a large DW on a 32 processor box, paying for the Oracle licenses AND an addition $300,000+ for OWB functionality just to simplify SCD type 2, seems WAY overkill. Actually, in our project, we had pretty much settled on Oracle as the RDBMS for our DW, but if OWB is up in the air, we will probably open this up for an RFQ.
