In general a decent system. Two remarks:
1. Go for a big tower instead of a midi. Better airflow, more expansion room, easier to install, better cable management.
2. Your disk setup is about the practical minimum. In the future you may need one or more additional disks.
It looks like a good deal for that price, with the above two rematrks.

Bought 4th Gen 3TB TC - streaming TV over the internet is now so slow and now is constantly buffering. It seems the Airport Utility is always 'searching for new networks' - don't know if this is the problem. It's not the internet speed as checked that.

I took my old router upstairs and was streaming TV via my ipad seamlessly - the same program via the TC was constantly buffering.
I just expected to be able to plug in the TC, so a simple set-up and experience wireless both upstairs and downstairs in my house. For some reason the range is low and speed veru disappointing.
I am far from being an IT expert but I would welcome advice about setting up this TC so we can enjoy the product as it was designed. Please HELP!

No silver bullet........but my suggestions may drive you in the right direction.
1. Unplug the power cable from the TC and wait 10-15 minutes before powering back up.   Seriously wait!
      Proceed to #2 if this dosen't help.
2. Unplug the power cable from the TC, ubplug the power cable from your Broadband Modem (assuming it's a cable modem), disconnect ethernet, and cable from modem.
2a. Wait 10-15 minutes then re-connect cable, ethernet, and power back to modem (your modem should power up unless you have a power switch) wait for all the modem lights to come on EXCEPT activity.
2b. Connect ethernet from modem to TC, and plug in the power cable to TC.
      Proceed to #3 if this dosen't help.

This issue can be caused by the ASK.com Toolbar.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Check your security software
Related errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006. Sometimes security software can prevent your device from communicating with either the Apple update server or with your device.
Check your security software and settings to make sure that they aren't preventing a connection to the Apple servers.

TS1398 I am getting when manually entering wifi info of "Could not scan for wireless networks" wireless is working on other devices, how do I cure this? The problem only began when I updated software on the phone. Previously I had no problems with wifi.

After updating software on Iphone (wifi worked fine before the software update) I now can not get on wifi. The phone with not find a working wifi network nor can I connect manually. Wifi is working on other devices. I have turned the phone on and off, turned the wifi router on and off and reset the iphone and down loaded updated software to the phone. Nothing has worked. The 3GS was not sold as an unlocked phone in the US 2 years ago and AT&T did not offer unlocking then.
You bought a hacked phone. The Apple servers can detect the hack and have now disabled activation. Contact AT&T and find out if you qualify to have it unlocked or buy a new legitimately unlocked phone.

It appears that your iPhone 5s sometimes produces low sound, but a restart corrects it.
It can take some time to isolate and resolve intermittent issues like this one, and I'd recommend going through the steps in this guide the next time it occurs:

I have 2 iphones registered under the same appleID. Every text message that is sent to my phone, the other phone receives as well. If I turn "imessage" off on the other phone, will this solve the problem from her receiving text messages meant for me?

I have 2 Iphones, registered under the same AppleID. Mine, and my mom's. I recently (today) did the software udate for her phone, and ever since-she receives every message i send to my girlfriend, and every response that my girlfriend sends to me. I read up on Imessage, and checked the settings on both phones. On each phone "imessage"was turned on, so i turned Imessage off. Will this solve the problem of my mom receiving every message that i send and receive? Also, if i turn Imessage back on, on my phone-will i still have privacy to text?

Why not create a second Apple ID? Wouldn't that solve the problem much more straightforwardly?

I am running Illustrator CS6 on a Mac version 10.9.1. My problem is that when I try to "Save for Web" I get an error message of:
"Could not complete this operation the. File was not found."
What is it even talking about?!? It can save it normally, but not as a .jpg, .png, etc.
I just restarted the program (but this isn't the first time I received this error). Now it says something new:
Some names of the files being saved contain non-Latic characters. These file names will be incompatible with some Web browsers and servers.
I simply named the file "6.png"
That time it did allow me to save though. What is going on!??

The solution is to use the textFlow generation number. In the damageHandler if the generation is the last known generation number, assume no changes, and return immediately from the damage handler.
QE notes: There are 1 TextArea, 6 TextInput and 2 NumericStepper failuers, with or without my changes. The common link seems to be DispatchKeyEvent. Most were testing maxChar, displayAsPassword and restrict. I tested these and they seem to be working correctly.
