BUYER ID (Transaction Buyer ) IN Which Purchase Table ?

Hi All,
I am working for Purchase related project. One of the Clinet requirements is BUYER ID (Transaction Buyer) filed in the report.
Can anyone plese suggest in which R/3 Purchase Table I can extract this Field ?

Thanks , but in that which exactly is the buyer id (transaction Buyer). I can see about 18 fields in EKPA Table .

You can refer to table EKKO and field WKURS. This field in purchase order header table stores the exchange rate for the GR made against this Purchase order.

Procedure to create a TCODE for ZTABLE:
Create a table maintainance/View for the Z* Table.
Once you create the view goto SE93>Select Parameter transaction and give the short desc.>
Give the transaction as SM30(Skip the first screen-optional)>Check all check boxes under GUI support>In the default values(grid)section first row give the VIEWNAME as you created initially and the second row UPDATE as X.
Se93 --> then which radio button to be selected
Select the parameter transaction as a radio button.
what is the program nam e to be given
no need to give any program name. Instead you have to give the transaction code name as SM30.

Which views/tables to use for retrieving item information

Hi All,
I need to write a PL/SQL procedure for retrieving detailed information for a specified item (given inventory item ID and organization ID). I'm not quite sure which views/tables to us for this.
I found out that view MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_FVL is the underlying view for the Master Item Form (via help / record history menu option). But when looking up in eTRM following warning is described:
Warning: Oracle does not recommend you query or alter data using this view. It may change dramatically in subsequent minor or major releases.
The second view I found is MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_VL. But when quering for data in this view, it turned out that the view is empty.
Can anybody tell me for what purposes this view is used?
Is it the correct way to use one of these views (or any other?) for retrieving detailed item information or should I better define a new query within the procedure using tables such as MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_B, MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_TL and MTL_PARAMETERS (any others) ?
Any ideas for that?

Hi Carolin,
It's usually more efficient to use base tables instead of views. The tables you will actually need will depend on your requirements. Regarding your question about MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_VL, it's usually ok to use the _VL views. These typically contain the same information as the base tables plus some logic to get the appropriate translations for fields that can be shown in different languages (for instance, DESCRIPTION). Typical table names you will need could be:
Item Master: MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_B
Organizations: MTL_PARAMETERS
Subinventories: MTL_SECONDARY_INVENTORIES
Units of Measure: MTL_UNITS_OF_MEASURE
Onhand Quantity: MTL_ONHAND_QUANTITIES_DETAIL
Material Transactions: MTL_MATERIAL_TRANSACTIONS
Categories: MTL_CATEGORIES_B, MTL_CATEGORY_SETS_B, MTL_ITEM_CATEGORIES
If your query didn't return any data, it's probably because the language was not properly setup in your session (check USERENV ('LANG') so see what's the language in your session).

Hi Veera,
TVARV table has allowed maintanace status and Maintanace view is available for the same.
So go to transaction SM30 and maintance the Table as you required.

Yes, you can.
Please start transaction MM02 and set the valuation category > you will get an error message > click on 'Display Errors' button and SAP will say what hinders you from the change.
- you should set the stock level of your material in previous and current period to 0 (it is possible with posting date in the past; MB1A201 > after material master settings you can set back the stock level via MB1A202)
- delete transactional data (including your PO)
- mark batch records with DF and archive them
- etc

--> Give table DD03L (click --> table contents)
--> give field name (Ex: AUFNR) & Execute
--> And you will get all the table names.... which contain field AUFNR.

Which internal table is storing MSEG-ZEILE field in bapi BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREA

Dear Sap Gurus,
I am facing one problem . i am using standard bapi for migo transaction i.e. BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE . it is working fine. Now i want to modify this bapi for some of our own developed fileds that is stored in another table say ZMSEG . i have found all fields in bapi of table mseg and put those fileds in our developed table zmseg but i am unable to find one field MSEG- ZEILE . Plz guide me from which internal table this filed MSEG-ZEILE is coming . The appropriate answers will be highly appreciated.

U can't find out the field ZEILE in BAPI field, just as somebody said you before, that field will be automatically calculated before saving the document.
So u can calculate it by yourself for your table ZMSEG
Anyway it doesn't make sense to change the BAPI in order to store the data in own z-table, there is an exit to do it:
EXIT_SAPLMBMB_001
Why don't you use it?

Hi Swetha:
Use Transaction code SE11 or SE16 on R/3 to make sure the underlying tables used by the 2LIS_08TRTLP Extractor contain data. The main tables are:
VTTK - Shipment Header
VTTS - Stage of Shipment
VTTP - Shipment Item
LIKP - SD Document: Delivery Header Data
LIPS - SD document: Delivery: Item data
For the relations among the Tables take a look at the paper by Christopher Solomon "SAP Tables Relations", just google it to download a copy of the PDF file.

P.S. One more thing: go to Transaction Code LBWE and make sure the DataSource 2LIS_08TRTLP is active, if not, activate it and fiill the Setup Table again.

You really shouldn't worry about that. Use the access functions instead.
If you are thinking about the e-mail address for a user, use the function module BAPI_USER_GET_DETAIL.
If you are thinking about the e-mail address for an employee (which is not stored in the same table), one solution is to use BAPI_EMPLCOMM_GETLIST and look for an entry with subtype 10 (this one is SAP standard I believe) or any custom subtype which should hold e-mail address.
