Buying an album from itunes USA

hope i am putting this in the right place. i am trying to buy an album that is preorderable in the usa, but not here yet!! and it wont let me, says my itunes wont do it
is there a way of turning itunes on so it will let me buy from the usa?

Well, I'm not exactly sure where your "here" is (UK?). However, I'm guessing it must be outside the US. If so, the only way you can buy from the US iTunes Store is if you 1)Have a US credit card with a 2)US billing address. Otherwise, you'll have to wait or find another source. The rights holders control when and where music can be released and Apple is required to abide by that.

Buying TV shows from iTunes USA

I live in Canada and I really want to download some shows from iTunes(USA). Am I able to do it just by using those pre-paid cards that they sell at Best Buy? Or do I have to give them a credit card number? Can someone help me???

This has been covered here literally dozens of times, but once again: the content owners do not allow cross-border sales from any of the legal download stores. You must therefore have legal residence in the country of the iTunes Music Store you wish to use. So in order to buy from the US iTunes Music Store, you must (as proof of residence) have either:
a) a credit card issued by a bank in the US with a billing address also in the, or
b) a mailing address for your residence in the US and a gift certificate or a prepaid card that was bought in the US.
If you cannot fulfill one of these two sets of conditions, you will not be able to purchase from the US iTMS. The same applies to any other country's iTMS.
This, again, is due to restrictions placed on Apple by the record companies and other rights holders (who are often completely different from country to country and so all require their own individual negotiations and contracts), not by Apple's choice.

Can't buy full albums from itunes on 3G (ios 6)

I've tried to buy full albums on itunes on my iphone (when not on wi-fi) and because the album includes a music video it will not download anything unless I connect to wi-fi. In ios 5 it would allow me to buy the album and it would download everything except the videos. When I look at my downloads, it looks like it is trying to download the whole album as one item, whereas in iOS 5 it downloaded each song/video individually.Has anyone else had this issue?

You will need to do what it says, contact iTunes Support. The URL you were given probably directed you to a page to choose your country after which you would have been appropriately directed. But go here:

Last summer I bought a music album from iTunes. I've already transferred all my orders from my units, but somehow iTunes wants me to pay for the same album again. When I try to add it to my wish list it simply tells me that I've already bought that item.

So fact is established, I've purchased this album before but iTunes does not recognize it.

Hey sorry for the late response but I've been out of town. I can copy and paste the email responses if necessary or desired, and if it's fixed already this is a moot point anyway, but basically they kept asking me for the order numbers for the two songs I already bought from the specific album I was trying to complete, which I eventually gave them - along with telling them multiple times that the Complete My Album feature wasn't working for ANY album. They gave me two free song codes to compensate me for the two songs I bought, and then told me to go and buy the album at full price, but the ENTIRE TIME they COMPLETELY ignored that I was telling them that this wasn't an issue with one album but was a larger, seemingly systematic issue that other people were experiencing. Even after I got the song codes I emailed them back and said AGAIN that this wasn't an isolated feature, and they just sent me the link to the apple Feedback page (http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html) and told me to submit my complaint there. So, technically, my issue was never really "resolved," in that they never fixed the Complete My Album feature that I am aware of - or even acknowledged that anything needed fixing, but I haven't tested it since Sunday.
If it's working for you, then hopefully they fixed it! I've noticed they've updated to 10.4.1, but the notes don't indicate they're fixing anything about the Complete My Album feature, so I don't know.

Is it possible to puchase music from itunes usa? They have different tracks available,but only send me back to the uk site if i try and buy them,where of course the track does not exist,can't find the track anywhere else either,so hope there is a solution

Unless you can show some form of residency you cannot buy from another country's store. The question on cross store purchasing is asked frequently so I'll just quote the most complete answer (courtesy of Dave Sawyer) from the many given:

How do I get to iTunes Switzerland from iTunes USA?

A song I wish to buy is on iTunes Switzerland. I cannot find a link from iTunes USA to get to any international iTunes store. Any ideas how to get there?

I live in Switzerland and I would love to be able to download TV shows and music from original artists, not cover bands. You want music from the Swiss store. I live in Switzerland. If you can download some stuff for me in the US I will be more than happy to download the equivelant value of items from the Swiss store.
The Music industry ******* and moans about lost revenue from pirated music downloads but we actually want to pay good money, hard earned CASH, so I think it is not only incredibly narrow minded and short sited of them to restrict the market in this way but also incredibly stupid on their part.
Of course that's just my opinion. What happened to "the customer is always right" phylosophy?

If you are in the US that you can only use the US store - you need to be in a country and have a billing address in that country on your account to be able to buy from its store. You can try requesting that it be added to the US store, but unless the record company/rights-holder agrees to let Apple sell it there then Apple won't be able to do so : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

Does the track play correctly in Quicktime Player? If it does then it is an iTunes issue. If it doesn't then it is possible the file was not completely downloaded, or is corrupt.

5GB is typically not enough space to download a movie. Often, movies take from 3 - 5 GB to begin with. The only option you have is to delete more things from your iPad. You can remove unused Apps, pictures, music, text message (messages with pictures can take up a lot of space), email messages, books, magazines etc.

Normally, if the songs showed that it is purchased then it is probably already in your library. If not check out the article below to walk you through downloading your past purchases. You may also want to check to see if you have Automatic Downloads turned on so that way next time you can get your tracks without having to plug in and sync.
