Buying aperture after having downloaded the free trial version
Hi,
I downloaded the 30-days trial version. Now I want to buy the real thing, but I can't cause it says I already have the app on my computer. but I don't want to erase it and re-download the app, or I would loose all of the pics and editing I have on it!! what should I do??

Just can erase the trial version; all your pictures ans edits are contained in your Aperture Library, and those will not be effected, if you delete the Aperture Application from your Applications Folder.
When you have bought Aperture, just double click the Aperture Library, and it will open in your new Application.

Since I have downloaded the free version Maverick OS X, HD version, from the App Store, I haven`t got anymore a clear screen whenever I open a page. Scratches and stripes appear and this is especially annoying when I wanna have a look on my downloaded photos from my iPhone 5 S. Does anybody know a solution ? Maybe somebody is struggling with the same problem.
I'm not sure what you mean by HD Version. There is only one Mavericks and I find nothing about HD.
Perhaps you have the display resolution set wrong for your display. -

I have downloaded & used the 30 day trial version of Indesign, and subsequently, I've bought the CS5.5 design standard.
The trial version installed in my computer asks for the serial no. to continue using of the product.
When I type the serial no. from my CS5.5 design standard package, I get a yellow triangle saying the serial no. is not valid for the product.
What should I do to fix this?
Must I uninstall the trial version and then install the CS5.5 design standard cd's? Is there a way to avoid this?

Hi, I am having issues downloading the free trial of Photoshop. I get the errors below occurring whenever I try and download. I have managed to download lightroom without any issues but was wanting to try them both out to then look at purchasing the monthly option. However would be a bit difficult if I can't download Photoshop! Any advice much appreciated.

I downloaded the free trial of Lightroom 5 and love it but I can't export the images to a folder. Is this because it is a free trial?
Yes, but I don't know enough about iPhoto to understand the consequences of "imported them into iPhoto first". In any event, I do understand the needs of Lightroom, and if the photos have been moved or renamed or deleted (or if the folders that contain them have been moved or renamed or deleted) outside of Lightroom, then this will cause the Lightroom symptoms you describe. You need to reconnect the photos in Lightroom using the instructions I linked to. Either that or move the photos and folders back to where they used to be after you imported them into Lightroom. Nothing else will work.
In the future, please understand that your photos are never stored in Lightroom; they are stored on your hard disk somewhere and the very simple principle that you need to follow is that Lightroom needs to be informed of where the photos are at all times, using the methods in that link; or better yet by never moving or renaming or deleting the photos (and the folders that contain them) outside of Lightroom.
As an additional recommendation, the idea of using both iPhoto and Lightroom on the same photos is one that could cause problems, especially for beginners. If you are going to use one of these software, then don't use the other one. -

Trying to download the free trial of Adobe Acrobat XL Pro. I keep getting the message "The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author." I've repeatedly tried getting a new installer file, but get the same message every time.

Part of the problem in helping is likely that there is no program Adobe -- that is the company name. You are in the Acrobat forum, but it sounds like you have subscribed to Export PDF or such, a different program. The subscription to Acrobat is currently $19.99 per month.

I have been waiting to get Photoshop all of 2014 and now I finally can. I tried downloading the free trial but then it took me to a page that said I could not download it because it was not supported. I am using a 2008 iMac that I got for christmas. Please help I really want photoshop!

I am Windows 8. When downloading the free trial of LR5 i get a message that my SmartScreen cannot be accessed. I click "Run Anyways". The file downloads and when I execute it, the installation/download remains hung up trying to reach servers. Can anyone help with this? Thanks.

Under Windows 7 you will want to use the Programs and Features Control Panel to remove your installation. I would recommend verifying that Photoshop Lightroom is removed from the list of installed applications.
