Buying center tab page in opportunity missing

Hi CRM Gurus,
i am doing customizing for Opportunity.
Buying center tab page in Oppotunity tranasction type is missing.
Have I missed any settings?
pl. help urgently...

Hi Vijay,
For Buying center to be visible in an Opportunity, maintain the Buying Center as a Partner Function (00000050) in your Partner Procedure.
Then this Buying center tab will appear for You.

hi, for partners to flow to the buying center you need to just configure. no need to write code.

Buying Center error

Hi u all
I have just checked for buying center function on Account form. Some fields are not active such as: Date, Reference opportunity. I also can't choose any value in field " Sales Organization". I donn't know why. Have u have any idea?

There are two options to create an Account Buying Center
a) Copy an Opportunity Buying Center to the Account
b) Creating an Account Buying Center from scratch.
If you create the Account Buying Center from scratch there is no reference Opportunity. This Reference is only there if you create this starting from a certain Opportunity.
The Date should also get filled automatically with the current date.

Serial data tab page missing during Goods Receipt for Mvt type 501

I have created and asigned the Seria data profile in plant data/Storage 2 of the material master record. Now i want to do the Goods receipt of this material with Mvtr type 501 w.r.t any documents for 5 no's and want the serial number to be createdment. I also have made relevant settings for automatic serial number and equipemnt number synchr, but wen i m in MIGO--Goods Receipt OtherMvt type 501 and enter, the serial data tab page is missing..
How can I activate this tab page....Any steps missing....
Can some one throw lights on this.....
Refered relevant threads but not much useful to my query....

Try 501 with MB1C, OR
Check through Path SPRO -> Sales and Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Serial Numbers -> Determine Serial Number Profiles -> Select Profile 'MM' & double click on Serializing procedure at left & maintain obligatory(03) for procedure MMSL i.e. Maintain goods receipt and issue doc. Also press F1 in Serial Number Usage to read the usage.

Missing Classification Tab Page in MM03

Hi Gurus
I normally create new material in MM with the copy reference of similar type of material.
I did same thing for one material and now in new material "Classification" tab page is missing..
I am absolutely sure it was copied.
Is there any way we can get it back in MM03??

What are the settings for clearing history when Firefox closes?
Make sure that you do not clear the Browsing Cache as that will remove the thumbnails that are stored in it.

Need to activate graphical buying center for opportunity

Hello,
I need to activate the 'Graphical View' button in the 'Contacts' assignment block in 'Opportunity' in Web UI so that I can set up a buying center in the 'Graphical Buying Center'. Please provide inputs on how to activate this.

Hi Aditya,
Go to tx. code of the opportunity which you are using and find out the partner determination procedure.
Go to Basic functions-> Partn. Processing-> Define Partner Det. Procedure. Select ur part. det. proc. Click on Parnter Functions in Procedure.
Check if you have 'Buying Center' as Parnter functions in Procedure. Most probably you wouldn't be having it. Click on New Entries and add '00000050 Buying Centre' as partner function in the procedure.
This should enable the button 'Graphical View' on Contacts AB in Opportunity.

Tab page is missing

I m planing to show the Pharmaceutical tab page on creation of bp role which is avaiable in screens PHA010 (Pharmaceuticals) . In that Pharmaceuticals tab I want to bring Views like PHA101 to PHA301 and all the sections and fields are assigned to it as per my client requirement. I made every views to active and the fields are assigned to it.
Can anybody suggest me the correct answer that how can I achive this?

I m again here mention that if I want to show the pharmaceutical tab to my bp role how can I do that one? I checked in screen sequence that it is mentioned in general data. If I modify the general data still it is not coming in bp role creation. Can anybody suggest me wheather I have to do more customization or it is require some technical things to get that tab in bp role.

My new tab page is missing and now when I type about:newtab in the Awesome bar I get a page called about:about. Help!!

I use to have the grid of pinned webpages whenever I clicked on the X of a new tab page. Now it's gone. I figured out if I typed about:newtab in the Awesome bar it would restore the page, but not all the time. Now when I type about:newtab in the Awesome bar I get a page called about:about...and I don't want that. How can I get my pinned websites back on my New tab page?

Addition of a field in tab page t-codes FPP1-FPP3

Hello Gurus.
During creation of a street (t-code SR20) there is opportunity, together with street name, maintenance of street type (field "Street type").
But during creation of the Business partner in role "Contract Partner" (t-code FPP1) field "Street type" on tab page "Address" not exist.
Inform, please, how to add this field by standard means (without collaboration with developers)?

this is a quite hard task! Only experienced developers should give that a try as it contains several steps. In order to include own fields at BP level (or contract account level) the BDT techniques should be used. BDT stands for Business Data Toolset - for details please see http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_03/helpdata/EN/35/696d360856e808e10000009b38f839/frameset.htm
(in case nothing shows up, go to help.sap.com and search for BDT and use the entry with the developers guide.) In case you want to have additional fields only for the role MKK - this is also described there.

How to remove Competetors TAB from PCUI Opportunity create trx

Hi Group,
we are using CRM 5.0, i want to remove Competitor's TAB from PCUI Opportunity Transaction. i see a option in CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C transaction-> Application/Layout->Define layout of the people-centric UI(Customizing tool). here i went to CRMD_BUS2000111-> Version 1-> Static model-> Tabpage groups-> OPP_1: when i clicked on this i got all Tab's details. but when i tried making OPP_HD_COMP "Inactive" and hit Save that Check mark goes away. tried many times but did not help.
then i tried going to CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C transaction->Application element-> tab page group structure->OPP_1: here i dont see any entries. do i have to add all Opportunity Tab's details here or only the Competetor tab details?
Please let me know does anybody see all Tab's data here or you just enter all Tabs data manually in CRM 5.0? also how can i remove Competetors Tab? your help is appreciated and awarded.

Hello Anu,
WHen you are in CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C transaction->Application element-> tab page group structure->OPP_1, go to edit mode and import the standard entries from CRMC_BLUEPRINT (on of the buttons on the screen).
Then, for the tab you don't want to see, just put it as inactive (if not possible, just delete the line, you can always come back to the standard by importing the S tables again).

Scrollable stacked canvases on tab pages

I am in the design phase of a project and I have been building some 'mock-up'screens for the user to review. I have been trying to build a form which has a scrollable canvas stacked on a tab page.
This works fine, however there is a dynamic element to the page which is controlled by selection of a radio button, which displays another stacked canvas on top of the first one.
This all works well and good, until you try and scroll the first stacked canvas by its scroll bar. The content of the stacked canvas scrolls ok, but the second stacked canvas remains in situ and doesn't move.
I have trawled all the online documentation and both the Metalink and Technet fora, but can't find any guidance on this.
Am I trying to acheive something which Forms 6i can't do, or is there a bug, or am I missing something?
For your information here is what I'm running:
Forms: 6.0.8.8.0
WinNT: 4.0 SP5
RDBMS: 8.1.6.0

I suspect you're correct. I am going to have to something long-winded with 'set_item_property'. As you say, let's hope Forms 7 can cope with this.

Revenues are not coming in the accounting tab page in cprojects

Hi all,
I am configuring the mulitilevel controlling on account assignment in cprojects with Project system.
I have given cost/revenue rate in customization along with revenue element. The revenue element i categorised in the cost element category of "11".Then the cost element has assigned to controlling area and then to company code and then i replicated these values also.
Apart from the above, is there any other setting i forgot? Please help me.

PCO2 --> internal order
PS06 --> Easy cost planning
The costing variant controls how the costing is to be carried out. With it, you control:
-->Whether the costing results are to be regarded as plan costs or actual costs
-->Which prices are used to value the materials, internal activities and external activities
-->How overhead surcharges are calculated
(B)Define cost & revenue rates for the project role & enter the validity details. The start date and end of the validity dates should be within the organization and project dates ( IN C PROJECT )
then go to make seeting in ERP
C PROEJCT --> ACCOUNT INTEGRATION --> MAKE SETING IN ERP ( R/3 SYSTEM)
(C) In CONTROLLING check the costing varaint
(D)Settings for Define Controlling Scenario
(E)Assign Cost Elements and Activity Types
Check this setting any thing is missing .
and also check in Cproject Resoure tab page --> Costing tab
planned cost and Revenues

Document Tab page in Product Master(commpr01)?

Hello CRM Gurus,
I wolud like to know in which business context the Document Tab Page used in creation of Product Master.
I see that i can attach any Document at my wish.of formats .doc,.xls,.pdf etc.
But why is it given.?
If i am creating an IP(Intellectual Property say a Movie Title)
what can i attach or upload ?what is the business requirement?

Hi Arshad,
Document Tab is nothing more then a Informaton storage Point of location.
For Ex; Say a company for which you are Implementing Deals with Product like Boilers, Lights etc.
IF there are mtuliple of choices and infomation related to eachd evice they can store those information in document tab.
Information like Pictures, Some Text Description message.
Document tab over here is also the same as you have in Activity, Opportunity Transaction.
And in that we call them as Long Text storage Areas, so same rule Implies for products Document Tab as well.

Tab page use up all RAM, causing Mac to freeze

I have reported this as a bug:

It seems that if a certain site (in this case https://parse.com/ ) has a link in the Tab Page thumb, it grabs all the RAM it can to the point of completely freezing the whole system.
This happens in a matter of seconds (200MB > 600MB > 900MB ... 1.6GB). Not quitting FF in time cause a complete system lock where you cannot even get to the "Force Quit.." window, and HD will work endlessly.
I have cleared all history, started in 'safe mode', created a new profile and deleted the old one, problem persist.
Here's how to easily reproduce (given, problematic site is not in your tab page):
(This on a Mac OS X 10.8, not sure about other systems).
1. (optional) Open "Activity Monitor", and switch to 'Memory' tab. (So you can quit FF in time).
2. Open "Tab Page"
3. In a new window, go to "https://parse.com/" and drag the link to the 'tab page'.
4. Watch the RAM pick up (and quit FF before it hit the fan).
I ended up disabling the tab page as I didn't see the problem getting any attention.
My bug report did not seemed to make an impression, it's just sitting there, did I miss something in filing it?

Just having a coffee break and using someone else's account on a Windows machine.
No problem seen on that. Note the new tab page may be opened using the ''about'' protocol & navigating to '''''about:newtab''''' and that besides dragging bookmarks or shortcuts the pinned thumbnails may be set from ''about:config'' the preference is
''browser.newtabpage.pinned''
and the string value now includes
''[{"url":"https://parse.com/","title":"Parse"}, ''
I am going out now but will find time later today to also try this in Firefox on Linux.
