Can anyone tell me the best source for buying dvd's online, I am looking for the silver printable ones for R-, and which brand do you think would work the best for playing in most dvd players, I am looking for a company that I can start buying all my supplies from and there are so many companies out there, who do you find to be the best in service.
Also could you tell me what towers are out there to burn dvd R- that are good quality without spending a fortune and would have a good harddrive with it. I am not sure if this is the right area to posst this but I hope so.

    You need "sysinternal's process explorer", it is free and can replace the Microsoft process explorer, that you get by "CTRL+ALT+DELETE". Either program will allow you to kill the instances of FF that didn't die as they should have, when you closed them. Sysinternal is easier to use, it is a graphic display with many options. Do not push "CTRL+ALT+DELETE" twice unless you want to reboot, that is its default behaviour under Microsoft.

    Make sure have cookies enabled, clear your cookie cache.  If it fails to connect try using a different browser.

    With the advent of Final Cut Studio 5.1 (Universal), DVD SP is no longer available as a stand alone package as far as I can tell from looking at the Apple Store listings.
    I can only suggest that you see if you can buy the older DVD SP 4 (Power PC only) for which the owner has the right to transfer it to you, then use the application DVD to do a FCS 5.1 Universal upgrade for $199.
    I had started using DVD SP some time ago (DVD SP1, and kept current), so I was able to do the whole upgrade deal pretty painlessly.
    I also suggest using either FCX or FCS "feedback" to comment on the upgrade policy. This post neither endorses nor criticizes it, I am just telling you how it works, to the best of my knowledge.

    If you buy it from the Apple Online store yes it will have full 1 year warranty, and the possibility to directly buy Apple Care +.
    If you buy it from somewhere else, it may not. If the online seller is not an Apple authorized reseller then you may need to take to to an Apple Store for physical inspection before purchasing the Apple Care Plus extension.
    If its not sealed and new, the warranty timer may have started to elapse, and it may not be eligible for Apple Care +.
    But without knowing where you plan to buy it its hard to say for sure.
