Buying from iTUnes store from outside of US

The Itunes store license agreement has the following statement:
U.S. SALES ONLY
Purchases or rentals (as applicable) from the iTunes Store are available to you only in the United States, its territories, and possessions, and are not available in any other location. You agree not to use or attempt to use the iTunes Store from outside of the available territory. Apple may use technologies to verify such compliance.
Does it mean I'm not able to make itunes purchases/rentals while being on vacation or for
other reasons outside of US using US billing/mailing addresses and US credit cards?

Strictly speaking, yes, that is correct. You agree not to attempt to use the US iTunes Store from another country whether or not you have a US iTunes Store account. I haven't seen any confirmed reports that Apple is blocking such connections, but that is indeed the official policy.

Well, I can certainly understand the licensing argument if I were using a Japanese credit card with a Japanse address and making a purchase with Japanese yen from the US Store from Japan.
When I am making a purchase with US card from the US store with US dollars, the argument becomes a bit suspect (I know it is Apple's, not your argument).
it is just kind of a paradoxical situation and I am hoping Apple will offer some sort of solution. We can always hoe, right?

i live in indonesia an it appears i couldnt find any songs or albums to buy in itunes store... so how can i buy this things??? is there another way for me to buy songs or albums in itunes store??
They are not currently available in Indonesia, so you won't be able to buy them from Apple. Do you have access to other music purchase download sites ? You can also copy your own CDs via your computer's iTunes.

You can edit or delete your rescue email address at My Apple ID. To edit your rescue email address:
Navigate to My Apple ID using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
Note: The option to send an email to reset your security questions and answers will not be available if a rescue email address is not provided. You will need to contact iTunes Store support in order to do so.

I was using the 2e Gen appl tv with a 720p Tv... and all was perfect...
Now, i have new Smart Tv LG 1080p with 120hz...
i change my apple tv for a 3e Gen with the full 1080p
But, when a go with Apple tv to "Computer" and listen a movie i buy on Itunes Stores
I see some "LAG" sometime, like if was playing in my computer to a Game and using my internet to dwl others thing...
If i use Youtube, of video buy on Itunes stores... all its okay... only when is a movie...

The big problem is when I start a movie on my Pc and switch to my appel tv with airplay, or, when a go watch a movie directly with appel tv... all movie i listen have some Lag during the viewing. Its not fluid...
the Appel Tv is good for 1080p 60hz
my tv can go to 1080p 120hz...
i don't know if its maybe that the probleme... my tv have a to hight 120hz for the appel tv who have only 60hz ?

When I click BUY in itunes store nothing happens. It won't let me enter my password and purchase the item all it does is highlight it but goes no further?

Buying from itunes store while outside of Canada
Hello,
I am travelling to France and my canadian credit card is not recognized in itunes. I dont have a french credit card. How can I still buy items from the canadian itunes. This situation if very frustrating when travelling for a long period outside of Canada.
Is there anything that can be done to change itunes options and be able to connect to the canadian itunes?

By 'can't use them' you mean ... ? Are you getting any error messages ? Your account's balance can be used to buy content for yourself (you can't use it for gifting) from the app store, iTunes store, ibookstore and Mac App Store

A little buying problem- itunes store problem
whenever i try to buys songs an error comes up (-50). i read what this site says about it, something about getting rid of firewalls but i have no idea how to do that. can someone give be a detailed explanation of what i can do so i can buys songs??!!!
Problems connecting to the iTunes Store often stem from issues with the Windows firewall or a firewall in a router, a privacy filter (such as McAfee Internet Privacy Service or Norton Internet Security), an antivirus/antispyware utility, or a download accelerator. Start here:
iTunes for Windows: Overview of Music Store Errors
for some basic tips to start isolating the cause of the problem. What you need to do is temporarily disable any such service and see if that fixes the problem. If so, then if it's a firewall/Internet filter that's causing the problem and you'll need to set the offending service to allow iTunes to connect to the iTunes Store.

Can't find the album in Music after buying with itune store
after buying an album with itune store I didn't see it in Music.

It say something about My credit card not matching my Bank's records, i went to the Bank and aske them to give me a copy of the records to se my adress and i typed it as appears in the document ans still it wont let me buy... any answers.... By the way I have a Middle Name on the credit card and also in the bank account... and i cant put the middle name on Itune Store....

Hi, when i open up my itunes store the main, centre part is blank (but i can see stuff on the right bar)... Then when i try to click the button to buy something, nothing happens... itunes just doesn't respond at all. I'm right there with you. I access the iTunes home page just fine, and then nothing else I do (log in, search, click on anything) will work properly--I get that annoying candycane-like "working" bar for as long as I want to wait on it. Even this forum took 20 tries to get this far--quite pathetic.
The rest of my internet universe works fine, btw. I have no problems accessing programs or websites or the like. So, can it really be my computer or my ISP? I am having trouble finding someone to resolve this issue without wasting everyone's time.
I tried the normal uninstall/reinstall iTunes, and the elementary troubleshooting on Apple's site (which implies that it's your fault that you cannot buy their music, or your ISP's fault). How fortunate for me that everything else works just fine.
I have Win2k SP4 with the latest updates; I have no issues running my local iTunes program (library, shuffle, recharging/syncing my iPod, etc); no problems with Quicktime; so on and so on. I just need the **** iTunes store to wake up and work, LOL.
Anyone had these problems and had them resolved? Or is Apple just incompatible with me? I'd like to buy music and stuff for my iPod without having to go to other sources. -

For couple of days now it seems that my purchases are either not processed (error message telling me that request can't be processed at this time) or purchase don't go all the way through, I don't have the item downloaded on my computer but however it shows in my purchase history???
