I want to buy the CC but I'm not sure how it works if I want to buy it in another country (Israel). would the membership work wherever I buy it? Or do I need to buy it somehow adapted to my country?

Hi, today I bought a used (1 month old) 2.4GHz model macbook aluminum.
It is sweet and I got it for a great price!
I want to get the extended applecare as I have heard great things about it.
in Japan (amazon.jp) it costs ¥31,500 (over $300), but in the US it costs $250(currently reduced to $186).
If I buy the US one will they let me use it for my Japanese bought MacBook? I could find nothing saying no. Maybe I should call them. Anyone know anything about this?

that's not an accurate statement. Apple states that you are bound to the terms of the agreement from which you purchased the applecare coverage. So, if you were to buy from the USA, then you would be bound to the USA terms & conditions, even those can vary from individual States. Apple recommends you buy the machine & applecare from the same country...
BUT the machine IS repairable by an authorized service center, agent, or company anywhere in the world!

You can only buy/download content from your own country's store - to be able to buy from another country's store you will need to be in that country and have a valid billing address in that country on your iTunes account (content is licensed to Apple to sell by the content providers on a country-by-country basis).
In order to sell music in Angola the record companies will have have to grant Apple licenses to do so - until if/when they do that then unfortunately you won't be able to buy music from Apple. I cannot find several of the books I'd like to read in the US iTunes iBook store. It keep saying they are not located in the US store. So, I tried switching to the UK store but my US apple ID will not work there. Is there a way to purchase books from another county's store? Buying content from another country.

I want to buy audiobooks and music from Italy, listen to Italian podcasts. Is there a good way to go about doing this? I tried changing my country preferences to Italy but it will not allow you to do it. It wants an Italian address. Also it will not allow you to purchase with an American bank account, so it will not even allow me access to free downloads. Does anyone know of a way around these hurtles?

Short answer, no. In order to purchase from another country's store, the copyright holders for content require that you have a credit card with a billing address in that country. These are requirements set by copyright holders on Apple as the copyright holders do not care for cross-border sales.
Just a suggestion as a new poster, you might want to try the "search" window in the upper right, to see if your question may have been asked previously, that way you don't have to wait for someone to come along with an answer. For example, this question on how to buy from another country's store is asked & answered literally dozens of times per week in both the Windows & Mac forums.

PS CS6 - updating in another country?

I bought the CS6 version when I lived in Singapore - and registered my Adobe Account accordingly. Now, I live in Norway, and I also have bought a new mac - this is where I get in trouble. I don´t remember - or know where I have my license key. When I try to buy the whole full version, the Adobe won´t let me because it says that I am buying from another country than Singapore, which is correct because I am buying from Norway - where I now live. I cannot find any place where I can update the country status!!! How can I do this??

No I'm not using creative cloud license. I bought the software off Amazon.com.
As for internet issues, I literally spent the last 5 days researching the problem and I've tried everything mentioned in every forum, article, blog, etc and nothing works. Yet... I have VWare which allows me to partion my computer so I can run windows on my mac and I decided to try adobe.com on my windows 7 software and low and behold I could access adobe perfectly fine. I'm starting to think it's not my issue why I can'y connect, honestly I believe adobe has problems with the Lion OS.
Anyways does anyone know how you generate a response code? I tried unistalling cs6 and reinstalling it and searching for the link in the installation that says "having trouble connecting to the internet" in order to go through the process of generating a reponse code except there is no link. To activate my Cs6 I have 2 options sign in now or sign in later. Obviously I cant sign in now so I have to choose sign in later. By choosing to sign in later cs6 automatically starts.
So how do I get generate a response code?
Btw is calling technical support better than live chat? Because to be honest my expierence with live chat has been A.) completely useless, B.) completely useless and C.) not to come off as a ***** but the grammer and language skills are so horredous I would rather try to diffuse a bomb with Helen Keller guiding me

US users can't buy from other country's itunes

As the first line in the Terms of Service in the Japanese iTunes states.
"Purchases from "this" iTunes store are available to you only in Japan and are not available in any other location. You agree not to use or attempt to use "these" services outside of the available territory...."
I may just be reading the first line so their may be more to this but so far I find it completely asinine that I'm unable to buy Japanese songs from the Japanese iTunes. It's very hard to find current non-anime related Japanese artist on the internet.

This comes up all the time. You have to have a valid billing address and credit card from a certain country to buy from that store. It is not up to Apple - it is up to the folks who hold the rights to the Japanese songs.

Im a big fan of japanese rock and other music but it wont let me purchase music under the japanese music store. Can anyone tell me how to do this or if it is possible.

You can't buy from another country's store, the Terms of Use of the stores prevent it - so if you are in Kuwait you can only buy/download from the Kuwaiti store.
