I work in it, am very careful, and this is the first time since 1985 when i starter using i.t. That i've been hacked. Thank you apple. It seems like a very common problem with apple.

It's most likely not you, no matter what they say. I have noticed a LOT of fraud with itunes, even with my own account. One time I caught them doing a database restore. I know this because my password automagically reverted back to an old one! I'm an IT guy who helped design DOD classified networks in the mid-pacific. I know security. The best protection for this is to NOT have a credit card listed in iTunes. Use iTunes cards ONLY. It's a pain, but until they step up, it's all you got.

Nothing happened to it.
It is still there. Maybe it says apply now, not sure, but it is still there.

Hi,
I'm in trouble beacuse I'm a luxemburgish student in Montreal. And so iTunes Store won't let me buy any stuff. At the Canada store I can't buy because my credit card is issued in Luxembourg and at the Luxembourg store I can't buy because I,ve got a canadian home adress. So, what can I do????

Buy a prepaid iTunes card through the Apple Store or at a local retailer. Then you can use the iTunes card to open an account in the Canadian iTunes Store without needing a credit card. Or give a friend with an account in the Canadian iTunes Store the money to buy you a gift certificate. Again, you can use that with your Canadian address to open an account.

Hey folks, I had a giftcard for the iTunes store in Canada and entered it onto my account for iTunes. The $15 shows up on my account, but when I am purchasing stuff it insists on using my credit card. I removed my credit card info and it wouldn't let me purchase. I wrote to iTunes support and they told me that the cards were no good in Canada, but the card is SPECIFICALLY for Canadian users and states on the back that it can ONLY be used in the Canadian iTunes store (the one I am using). Has anyone else had this problem? What gives?

You can only use it for music & videos.
You must be trying to buy an app or a game - Canadian law doesn't allow gift cards for what they consider to be "software" purchases like those.

Any gift card bought in Canada has to be used in Canada
Similarly any gift card bought in the US can only be used in the US.
So i suppose if you were to send some cash to someone in the US they could buy a US itune Gift

Apple stores, including online, won't let you buy iTunes gift cards with an Apple Store gift card - it can only be used to buy hardware/software from the store. Other stores might let you do so, or you could try selling the card

How do I back up my iTunes stuff?

I want to reformat my computer, but I want to save how my iTunes is organized. I say this because my music is not in English, and it's in Korean. So if I do not back up my iTunes stuff and try to manually put back my music after reformatting, the titles and artists will be messed up. (They will come out as @!#@!$(#@ instead of Korean characters.)
So which folder or files do I save in order to have my iTunes organized the exact same way that I have it right now? Thank you !!

HT4436 When ever I try to log into I Cloud it rejects my Apple ID I have changed it several times but all to no avail. Strangely I can use my ID to buy Itunes music. Can any one help please?

I know not being able to access your Apple ID can be frustrating. I have located an article that will walk you through a series of troubleshooting steps to resolve this:

, it appears that of your devices was linked to possible unauthorized activity on the iTunes Store.
Because of this, I strongly recommend using a different device or computer to use the iTunes Store.
Additionally, it appears that your account is not in compliance with the iTunes Store Terms and Conditions, so we will not be able to resolve the error message you’ve encountered.

I explained them, i just bought iphone 5 second hand and started my own account and filled 200USD with itunes gift cards and i went local repair shop for my iphone 5 Home sleep mode bottom is not working. and after that, i clicked purchased a game and apple wouldn't let me, it said ( contact support ). I contacted them and explained and wait almost about 3 days their reply as i showed about that message.But i can purchase all free apps without problems but i changed my password to be secure and then i must need to verify my payment and i clicked none (because i have money in my credit store). however it said contact support. Now i am doomed , my account and my phone is useless now. Apple senior adviser strongly recommended i am better change devices to use.

We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
If you were using the US store when you weren't in the US then you are violating the store's terms of use (which you agreed to) :
The iTunes Service is available to you only in the United States, its territories, and possessions. You agree not to use or attempt to use the iTunes Service from outside these locations. Apple may use technologies to verify your compliance.
If you were using your phone to purchase content from the US store when not in the US then that might be the unauthorised activity that they are referring to. If you contact iTunes Support and ask them to remove the balance from your account so that you can put your correct address on your account (you can't change countries whilst you have a balance) then you might be able to use the account.

While you're in itunes, with the leftside window open, click on Apps. Then, look across the top middle of your itunes screen. You will see several choices: All, Iphone/iPad Touch, Ipad, Ipod Games, List, and Updates.
Clicking on each of these gives you a different view.
When you select ALL you will see all of your apps. When you select Updates you sill see only the apps that need to be updated. When you are in Updates you will see the Update button in the lower right corner.
