Buying Lightroom 2 serial number

Hello, I download the test version of Lightroom
2 and now would like to buy a serial number.
I click on the buy serial number link in the software
I'm sent to the Adobe store were it looks like I must
re-download the software before I get a serial number.
How do I go about buying the serial number without having
to download the software again?

Hi,
You can go to the store at www.adobe.com and buy Lightroom. You shouldn't need to download the software to get the license key.
Be aware that Lightroom 3 is just around the corner, so you should wait, and rather buy version 3. There will not be any promotion like buy version 2 and get version 3 for free, so you would have to buy an upgrade later.

there's no way for you to identify which machines have or had cs3 activated, and you can no longer purchase a cs3 license from adobe.
you can request an activation count reset (Contact Customer Care) and deactivate your cs3 on all your computers. you can then install and activate on up to two computers.

Lightroom 5 Serial Number Woes

Have Lightroom 5 serial number, proof of payment, installation CD, etc Adobe registration doesn't accept it; hired computer expert who advises get new serial number - unable to contact Adobe by phone to get one - have had product for 8 days and still unable to use it - service please - has anyone got an Adobe service phone number that works or has encountered the same problem and got it resolved?

Live Adobe telephone help solved my problem: one digit of my validation
code was wrong. Upside: Lightroom working like a charm. Downsides: had to
wait 3 hours to finally talk to real person at client service centre in
Asia (but person was helpful and quite articulate), and had to accept that
Adobe insisted that it was human (my) rather than machine error (code flaw
that led to incorrect digit being generated). Not worth candle to try to
persuade them to fix coding flaw but I did point out that others might have
same problem. Good luck.

Lightroom 6 serial number does not work.

After buying the upgrade from Lightroom 5 to 6 and after installing I am asked for the serial number. When using the serial number received from the e-mail confirmation I receive the message that it cannot be validated?

I'm having the same issue. When I enter the serial number I get an error that says that it cannot be validated.
The solution posted is also confusing.. I originally bought Lightroom stand alone.. I don't think I have a Creative Cloud membership plan, at least I know for sure I don't pay on a monthly basis and the account page is not very clear at telling me if I do have a free one or I can try a free one...

Creative Suite 6 and Lightroom 4 serial number issue

Hi my name is Teresa.
I bought the student edition Creative Suite 6 and Lightroom 4 a year ago through the bookstore of my university in CD download format and installed it in my desktop. I got the serial number through an email that they sent to my university email address. I must have deleted that email by mistake because I can't find it anymore. I didn't register the two softwares on my Adobe account so I can't see the serial numbers on that.
I just bought a laptop today and I want to install the same applications but not knowing the serial number, it is impossible to install. I contacted Adobe Customer Service but they kept referring me to another person to another person, and eventually wasted 3 hours without solving anything.
Is there anything I can do? I am in a puzzle. I need help now.
P.S. I have the exisiting softwares on my desktop but not on my laptop.

If support can't help you, then nobody can. We don't have access to their databases here. Still, try to contact them again and escalate this to the higher levels.

Is Lightroom 4 still installed on the old computer? If it is then you can get the serial number from there. If it isn't, and you registered your copies of Lightroom with Adobe then you can log into your account and get the serial number from there.

Monthly Photoshop CC & Lightroom - no serial number

Purchased the montly subscription for this offer. Downloaded Photoshop & Lightroom no problem. Installed photoshop but can't install Lightroom. Installation program requires a serial number & I cannot find anywhere in my Adobe account where that serial number would be. Doesn't appear to be integrated into the Creative Cloud.
Not at all happy with this at all.

Welcome to Adobe Forum,
Do you have beta(trial version) installed for light room? If yes, then uninstall it completely by checking the preference boxes too.
Now restart the computer & download & install from the CC desktop App. It should work.

With my leica M9 coming a ligtroom 4 with a number for download.
After one year i upgraded my ligtroom 4 at to lightroom 5 directly , well, now i want install lightroom 5 in my new MAC and after installation says me that i have to write two serial numbers, one number is the lighroom 4 original and the number of lightroom 5 update, I only have to the lighroom 5 and i don't found the lightroom 4 in my adobe profile.
How can i know what is my number serial of the first Ligtroom 4?

you'll need both serial numbers to install the lr 5 upgrade.
if you purchased and downloaded lr 4 from adobe or registered with adobe, you may be able to find your lr 4 serial number under the account used to make that purchase/registration (not necessarily your current adobe id), Adobe ID

Lightroom 6 serial number issues...

Purchased Lightroom 6 upgrade (already have 5.7 on my Mac) and while performing the setup, it asks for my serial number. I input the code and the error message I get reads, "serial number you provided is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found on this computer." As I said, I already have Lightroom 5.7 on my Mac, so not sure what the issue is. Any ideas?

"You need to enter the serial number for lightroom 6 and then lightroom 5".
Will give that a shot...

Problems with Lightroom 5 serial number

Desperation setting in. Have been round and round this site, followed all the helpful advice but still receive message that my serial number is invalid. However I bought and paid for the software yesterday and received confirmation emails and serial number and I have a version of Lightroom 5 downloaded and working on my laptop. So why is it a trial only when Adobe has taken my money?
And there was me thinking it was quite a straightforward process - perhaps I should stick to Photoshop CS5.!!!!

I can't find Lightroom 5 serial number after $9.99/month purchase

Hello,
I just followed the "Purchase for $9.99/ mo plus local taxes" from the special photoshop cc/LR5 page (https://creative.adobe.com/plans/offer/photoshop+lightroom?promoid=KIPKZ)
I received a confirmation email saying the purchase was successful and I was able to update Photoshop, but I don't see a serial number for LR5 anywhere and my order does not reflect that I purchased LR5.
Please assist.

May I suggest that you develop a method of storing your ALL of your serial numbers (and other important data) so that you can find them when you need them? After all, you paid money for this.
By the way, if you downloaded the Creative Cloud version of Lightroom, that's the wrong version and could cause this problem. You want the standalone version of Lightroom: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates.html

Lightroom trial serial number

I'm in the process of upgrading Lightroom 5 from a trial version. I have entered the serial number but then lightroom asks me for the original serial number which I don't recall receiving with the trial version of lightroom.
Any ideas??

This sounds like you have purchased an upgrade, not the full version.

After inserting it again, it has lost all of its presets, own brushes and the catalogue.
