Buying the I-pod mini... WHERE CAN I GET IT???

I'm interested in the i-pod mini and getting it for christmas, but the apple online store doesn't seem to sell it anymore. Also, all the shops such as Dixons, PC World, Curry's etc. also don't sell it anymore. Argos and Boots still aparently sell it, but they are out of stock.
Anyone know if Apple still manufacture it anymore, or have they discontinued production of them?

Yes, I really do run Windows 95, though I'm looking to finally switch to a Imac G5 real soon now. After all, it's not what you use, but how you use it.
Perhaps I could get a lucrative gig with a sideshow, down the aisle from the dog-faced boy and the sword swallower. I wonder how much people would pay to see me reboot every hour? I imagine the entertainment value would be quite high.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

If you have lion and iPhoto '11 (latest version is 9.2.1) you can set up and turn on iCloud there and if you have IOS 5 on your mobile then your mobile devices will sync with your Mac

It is part of the OS.
In some Middle eastern countries, they do not allow this feature. If your phone came from one of these countries, you cannot get facetime at all.

The security code is the Apple ID of the person who setup the account. You will need to have the person you purchased the iPhone from remove their information from the iPhone.

I can't download Mavericks on my home iMac because of the 10 GB limit, where can I get the free copy?

My problem is that I want to get the free copy of 10.9, Mavericks, but my mid-2007 iMac uses the Verizon Internet Wireless service and there is a 10 GB limit. If I tried doing it (has 4G and it is very fast) I'd have $40-60 in overage charges. I could use the Public Library computer but it is PC and won't let me download. I was told by an Authorized Apple dealer that I would have to have to bring my computer in and install it there which isn't practical. I was told by the owner to ask this question, he would like to know too. If it's a DMG file I could put the upgrade file on my solid state memory device and install it on my harddrive (I have four).

It has a 10 GB monthly limit, 5.2 would take 52% leaving little for the rest of the month. Typically this is a non-issue for most cable internet providers which have a 100+ GB upper limit. The Library is a cable internet Lenova PC. Next year I will be at a different location and will have Mediacom's internet and this problem will go away. Overage charges for Verizon are $20/1 GB over the limit (better than ATT was which would simply cut you off at the limit.)

I have a late 2011 13 inch MacBook Pro. I recently upgraded it from the stock 500 gigabyte 5400 RPM hard drive to a 750 gigabyte 7200 RPM Seagate Momentus XT Solid State Hybrd drive. 1. Connect an external monitor. If everything else is working fine on the MacBook, you'll have full access to your computer. Or
2. If the MacBook has a FireWire port, use Target Disk Mode (http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT1661) to mount the HDD and then copy the files to the second Mac. Or
3. Remove the HDD, put it in a $20 USB caddy, and connect it to another Mac for file-retrieval.
By the way, this forum is devoted to vintage Classic operating systems that Apple retired over a decade ago. More people will see your posts if you put them in a forum devoted to your particular level of OS X (Leopard or above for a 2008 MacBook).

Where can I get slp.jar?

I want to register a JMX service with SLP. But it needs slp.jar. I can't find the file in the jmx directory. Where can I get it?

If you're on Solaris SLP is already installed - see
man slp
man slpd
On my machine slp.jar is located at:
/usr/share/lib/slp/slp.jar
I believe the packages for Solaris are SUNWslpr and SUNWslpu.
You can try 'pkginfo | grep -i slp' to check whether they are installed.
Otherwise you can try http://jslp.sourceforge.net/ - I haven't tried it myself but their page says it should work with JMX/SLP examples, though you might need to tweak them a bit (using collections instead of vectors).
