Buzzing sound appeared again- hp pavilion ultrabook 14-b006sa

hp pavilion ultrabook 14-b006sa- windows 8
I ve tried the Troubleshooting tool in Windows 8,but there each speaker seems to work properly.
I have instablished the most recent Audio driver update from HP, 'IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver', as you had told me few months ago, but the problem still exists. i had followed as well the steps on the document 'No Sound from Speakers (Windows 8)' but did not help.
Please Help!!!!!!
Thank you

Hi kp161. I have reviewed your Previous Thread. If the basic troubleshooting has not produced a permanent resolution I will need more information. You mentioned that the buzzing sound appears from various sources. I want to use YouTube as our starting point. Find a video that you get the buzzing sound in, and note the time in the video where the sound occurs. If you play it again, does the buzz happen at the same point again? Does it happen through the speakers? Does it happen through headphones?
Let me know.

  • Strange buzzing sound----Toshiba 39L1350U LED TV

I just purchased a Toshiba 39L1350U LED TV and when I turn on the power a strange buzzing sounds appears and does not go away. The sound is not coming from the speakers. The sound is louder at the back side of the tv. Any information on this issue or how to make the sound go away would be greatly appreciated.

Try plugging TV into another outlet to verify interference from other appliances.  Also, try turning off any floursecent or curly bulbs.

  • HP Pavilion Ultrabook 15: sound crackles/ hangs

    Hi all,
My PC is a HP Pavilion Ultrabook 15-b080sb and I work with Windows 8.1 (but the problem was also there when I worked with Windows 8).
Information about my video: Adapter = Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 version 10.18.10.3316, status Aero enabled.
Information about my sound & audio: Intel(R) Display Audio, version 6.14.0.3097 and IDT High Defenition Audio CODEC, version 6.10.6425.0
I have my ultrabook since dec. '12 and since +/- 8 months I have the problem that my sound sometimes crackles/ hangs. There are days that this happens very frequently, on other moments it doesn't happen so frequently. The crackles are there for +/- 1 or 2 seconds, than the sound is normal again. But sometimes there are, let's say, 3 crackles in 10 seconds, so you almost can't hear anymore what they are telling/ playing.
It happens also when I use my headphone, it happens in all the videoplayers I use (VLC, BS player), it happens on seeining youtube on the website or if I play a DVD, or if I listen to a downloaded video on my Ultrabook.
I'm pretty sure (not quite) that this happens only when playing sounds from a video/ clip/ movie and not if I listen to music/ words by a sound player. It also happens with sounds (without a video) I play in a videoplayer like VLC.
I'm also not sure of it, but I seem te remember that the first time it happened, it was after an update for my sound (but I don't know anymore which one).
I already a system repair, to a moment the sound was still okay, in the beginning when I had the problem. I updatet the drivers, I reinstalled the software of every sound program on my ultrabook (that is also on your website for my ultrabook).
Can someone help me please with this problem? Sometimes it's really a problem to listen to what is said.
    Thanks in advance.

Hello Frodo007. I understand you are hearing crackles when sound is playing, and it doesn't matter from what sound player you are utilizing. It's good to know you already tried a system repair, and updating drivers. There is a definite possibility that hardware could be faulty, however, I don't want to sustain that conclusion immediately.
What I would like you to try is the troubleshooting on this Microsoft document: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/bba248d8-05c9-4345-afc2-79b42769d4f8/window...
On the document, there is reference to a Windows Software Development Kit. If you decide to download it, please install the Windows Performance Toolkit and run it. I look forward to your response.

  • Dolby Advanced Audio Interface software missing HP Pavilion Ultrabook 14-b003sa

I updated my HP Pavilion Ultrabook 14-boo3sa to windows 8.1 a couple months ago and since then the dolby advanced audio interface software is missing. The speakers are working and sound fine but I just want the option of the equaliser again. I have looked at the drivers available online and the most upto date driver for audio for this laptop is an IDT audio driver from 2012 for windows 8. Is there a more upto date driver that has the interface software? or is it just a case that the software has been removed on the update due to compatability issues? It sounds like dolby advanced audio is still active there is just no interface available as before I updated to windows 8.1. Please help. Thank you.

    Hi Lhawley91,
I understand you are having issues with the Dolby Advanced Audio Interface software missing HP Pavilion Ultrabook 14-b003sa. This package contains the driver that enables the IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio for Windows 8.1.

  • Chromebook 14 continuous buzzing sound through external speakers when powering on

I have this consistent buzzing sound when I power on my Chromebook.  Every time I power on, an electrical buzz through my external speakers (plugged in to the headphone outlet) remains until I completely unplug the speakers cable from the Chromebook, and then plug it back in.  Unplugging and plugging the cable back in always stops the noise.
Is there anything I can do to keep my external speakers plugged in without the buzzing noise starting when the Chromebook is powered up?

The speakers are made by Creative, Inspire t3000.
    1.  Yes, they are powered, so they are always plugged in to a wall outlet and I leave them on always.
    2.  Yes, they are normally the speakers for my desktop Windows system.  I've don't have this problem with that PC.
    3.  No, I don't hear the same buzzing sound from the Chromebook's built-in speakers.
    4.  No, I have not tried another set of speakers yet.  I don't have any others at the moment.
    5.  No, there was no software with the speakers when I bought them IIRC.
There is a loud buzzing thump noise made each time I unplug or plug in the speakers to the Chromebook even if it is powered off.  That's always been there.
The buzzing noise appears for about a second whenever I power down the Chromebook, that happens a second or two right after it is powered off.  Also, if I turn the volume control down for the speakers, the buzzing sound volume is lowered too. But if I turn the volume down to where I don't hear the buzzing noise, I can barely hear the sound.
Update: I noticed after fiddling with the speaker volume control that the buzzing sound goes away now after about 30 seconds.  It didn't just a few days ago.  And it never had the continuous buzzing sound at all when I first bought the chromebook and used these speakers with it periodically.
    Thanks.

  • Buzzing sound when I click on apple menu

My husband uses his imac primarily for email and surfing the web. He has had the computer about 2 years. He uses no applications besides browsers and Mail. He does not use the cd/dvd drive. Today when he was in Safari a loud buzz started and the search box in Google spontaneously filled with the forward slash ////////. He restarted the computer and the sound went away for awhile but came back. By a process of elimination we know the buzz is not coming from the speakers. As I clicked on the apple menu to get info about the computer, the buzzing stopped. When I hit the apple menu again, the sound began again. This seems to control the starting and stopping of the sound. Can anyone explain why this should be so?

  • Buzz sound in my laptop left speaker

i have pavilion dv6 notebook pc with windows 7 home premium installed on it. My problem that i have a buzz sound comes from my left speaker when i play songs. That's happened when i was playing music and hearing from headphones then electricity went off and i was plugging the laptop without battery. When i reboot my laptop the sound wasnt good so i restored my pc to factory settings and the problem isn't solved. Note: before i did that factory settings restore, i've made a minimal system recovery a week before it.

    Hi,
I am not sure why you would run your laptop without a battery. The sudden loss of electricity might have damaged your laptop.
Insert a commerical music CD and see if you get the same noise.
Do you have the same issue when the battery is installed?
Try wiggling the headset connection with the headset being plugged and unplugged and see if that changes the speaker sound.
Try your laptop on a known good electrical circuit.  A faulty ground or neutral wire can cause a similar buzz or hmmm. If you are using a surge protector or UPS then remove those items from the connection path.

yes my brand new i phone 5 c keeps making a funny buzzing sound every few seconds can somebuddy tell me why this is thanks so much :.?

There's no telling what could be causing the funny buzzing sound.
    Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
If the buzzing continues, return the iPhone.

  • Windows 10 and the buzzing sounds (and what should be done)

    Hi
A week ago i bought myself a HP Pavilion X2 11 inch tablet/laptop and upgraded to Windows 10 (as was advertised).
After the upgrade i get a buzzing sound when i use the Windows 10 apps, Youtube or any integrated program.
After a week of investigation i found out that the driver that is used for the Realtek IDT HD Audio is packaged by HP in 9th of July but the underlying driver from Realtek is from December 2014.
Realtek and Microsoft fixed the issue with the Realtek driver published on 3/2/2015.
Realtek HD Audio fix for Windows 10
So HP will need to repackage it's Realtek HD Audio driver for it's machines to make it fully Windows 10 compliant.
"So HP, is there any update on the way that gives us full Windows 10 compatability?"

    Hi ,
Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community!
I came across your post about the Notebook, and wanted to assist you! I have looked into your issue about your HP Pavilion 11-h100eo x2 PC and Windows 10 updates for your Audio drivers. Here is a link to your Driver page. The update you need it Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver under the Chipset.
Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant, it was included in your system. You could run that for any updates that might be needed. When the Windows 10 software was install it should have done all the updates that would have been needed. Hope this helps. Thanks.

  • Buzzing sound from earpiece

No idea why it's happening had the phone for a year and a bit (out of warranty) and now I can't make out a single word without running around looking for heaphones all i can hear is a loud buzzing sound only when the other person talks it kind of makes them sound like a bee, is there a fix for this or can someone direct me to a previous post that can help?

    Hi again,
I've tried a couple of things since I first posted:-
There was no buzzing at all when taking a call through a pair of Astro headphones.
Unplugging these from the 3.5mm socket during the conversation stopped the buzzing from the earpiece completely (again leading me to believe that the speaker diaphragm is not defective or dirty).
The next call I made had no buzzing whatsoever from the earpiece.
The call after that did have buzzing again (audible as soon as the ringing tone starts).
Buzzing does not seem exclusive to either making or receiving the call.
I hope this is useful in shedding more light on what's going on here.

  • Buzzing sound from headphones.

I did a search for this issue and got a few results but unfortunately none of the threads seem to have a solution. Just started today, that when I plug my earbuds into the audio port, there is a loud buzzing sound from the left earbud, even pressing mute wont stop it. I tried restarting the machine but it still persists, hoping somebody here has had the same issue and can help.
    Thanks in Advance.

Thanks for the replies, I'll try and eliminate environmental issues, if that doesn't help I'll just have to ring customer care about it.
    Thanks again.

  • IPod makes buzzing sound when charging

    Hello,
When I connect my iPod touch 5g to either a wall charger or to my computer it makes a buzzing sound, like static. Sometimes it is brief other times it won't stop unless I shutdown the iPod. Why is this happening?

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Try another cable
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
