Buzzing sound problem

Assalam o Alaikum,I purchased a new hp Pavillion 15 p107ne 2 days ago and from the first day this laptop gives a buzzing sound both in head phones and in its speakers a buzzing , irritating sound every 30 to 35 seconds. i tried updating the realtek sound drivers but it did not work out for me. kindly tell me what to do. I have tried other head phones but the result is same.Regards,

The sound will be generated by the power supply in the Airport Express.
Put your ear right up on the plastic case. Also listen the same way to the modem.. I very much doubt the modem is involved.
It might only make the sound when the ethernet cable is plugged in .. as that loads the supply..
Basically it is now very old and needs replacement.

I am having the same problem I have over 11.5 GB of .tmp files, many 1000s. Here is a thread I have found with some more info:

That thread is almost a year old so I'm not holding out hope for a fix from apple. I'm going to try deleting them and see how it goes...

  • Iphone 4 makes an continuous intermittent vibration/buzzing sound when plugged into any of computer's 3 usb ports; does not show in itunes or Windows Vista device manager. No problem charging the phone with other power sources. What's going on?

This problem happened intermittently in the past but now happens every time I plug in the phone. I suspect it might be a problem with my computer, an Acer Aspire 4530, perhaps with it's charging function via usb ports? The phone makes the same buzzing sound twice when I connect to other power sources, but continues when connected to computer. I have this issue even when the phone is 100% charged.

  • When i play a video or movie i get a buzzing sound from the speakers. how do i solve this problem?

I get this  buzzing sound from my speakers when I play a video, or movie either from the internet or playing a DVD. What can I do to solve this problem

A: There is no such thing as an unlocked iPhone 3Gs in the United States. ALL iPhone 3Gs's sold in the US are locked to AT&T. AT&T will NOT unlock iPhones, therefore it is not legitimately unlocked.
B: Sprint is a CDMA network as others have mentioned. They do NOT use SIM cards. The iPhone 3Gs will NEVER work on Sprint. Ever. It's not physically possible.
Either your Uncle misunderstood or he was mislead. Send it back and tell him to get his money back. Buy an iPhone in India from a supported carrier.

  • After a successful home button repair, I've got a buzzing sound when I make or receive calls. No problem with the speaker as I can listen to online radio stations and my music.

I guess your definition of a "successful repair" is different from most people's.
If you got it serviced by Apple, take it back to them.
If you had it serviced by a 3rd party, Apple won't touch it. Take it back to whoeever fixed it for you.

  • Buzzing sound appeared again- hp pavilion ultrabook 14-b006sa

hp pavilion ultrabook 14-b006sa- windows 8
I ve tried the Troubleshooting tool in Windows 8,but there each speaker seems to work properly.
I have instablished the most recent Audio driver update from HP, 'IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver', as you had told me few months ago, but the problem still exists. i had followed as well the steps on the document 'No Sound from Speakers (Windows 8)' but did not help.
    Please Help!!!!!!
    Thank you

Hi kp161. I have reviewed your Previous Thread. If the basic troubleshooting has not produced a permanent resolution I will need more information. You mentioned that the buzzing sound appears from various sources. I want to use YouTube as our starting point. Find a video that you get the buzzing sound in, and note the time in the video where the sound occurs. If you play it again, does the buzz happen at the same point again? Does it happen through the speakers? Does it happen through headphones?
    Let me know.

  • Sound problems after iOS 4.2 upgrade

Experiencing very poor sound quality after iOS 4.2 upgrade. Bad eq, left channel dropping out, sounds like heavy reverb. Exists with iPod and pandora apps. Tried adjusting eq in settings. Any one else having problems?

Yep I just upgraded to new OS 4.2 on iPhone 4 and I get this static buzz sound when talking to people it's really annoying and sound quality is terrible. What happened? I went back to the shop and they said it's the upgrade and that there is an issue with it. They also said there is no point leaving the phone with them as they can't fix it that it's upto apple to release a patch for the problem. Can we get a fix for this soon before I damage my ears?

  • Dynex 32 Led LCD tv 720p buzzing sound

I've had this tv less then a week. When it's off It makes an annoying buzzing sound unless you cut out the power to the tv. Model number dx-32e250a1. I contacted dynex directly they told me its normal and to unplug the tv and hold the power button for a minute. I've also been reading people's complaints and there's a lot of people in the same boat as me. I'm wondering if this will lead me problems down the road if i keep it. Or should I return it? It's in my room and connected to a strip. I just cut the power so I can sleep without the noise. It's my only complaint with it. Otherwise great tv for the buck =\

Really depends on how loud the buzzing is. If it intrudes on TV volume at normal levels, then take it back.

  • 24" iMac has buzzing sound every 5 min during sleep after upgrading to is x lion

I have a 24" iMac purchased new in 2009.  Haven't had a problem and usually put it to sleep mode at night with no problem.  I recently upgraded to OS X Lion and started noticing 2 problems during sleep mode.  One is a constant humming noise that wasn't there before, as if the computer is still running.  Second problem is that every 5 to 10 min or so, a slight buzzing sound pops up.
The noise poses as a real problem during the night as I have the iMac in my bedroom.  I'm forced to completely shut down very evening to avoid the noise.  Can anyone help?  Thank you in advance.

I have a similar problem on my early 2008 macbook pro. After the audio driver is idle for a minute or so (after an itunes playlist or youtube video ends) the headphone jack output starts buzzing horribly, to the point where i have to turn off my soundsystem or play a muted song to “wake up“ the card and stop the buzzing. This must be due to different power management parameters in Lion, as it started immediately after the upgrade and disappeared after I reformatted and returned to Snow Leopard. Maybe there is a way to force the audio hardware to stay active?

  • Buzzing sound when I play a note...

With Garageband (1) I suddenly, and for no apparent reason developed a problem. Whenever I played a note it would buzz. I don't have the same problem with Pro-tools and I'm using the same keyboard and everything. So I bought Ilife 5' thinking that would solve the problem. Not so. Same buzz sound on every instrument and every key etc. I've tried dumping the instruments and reloading, restarting, etc. etc. Anybody have any ideas?

    Hey Wheat,
Sorry to be vague. Okay, I have an Imac G4, and an MAudio keystation 49 plugged into the mac via USB. A very simple set-up. It worked great for a long time on Garageband 1. I made some really cool songs then all of a sudden this buzzing sound. You can barely hear the instruments (Garageband's instruments) under the buzz. In addition to this, I also work with Pro-Tools and an M-Box. I can play Sample-Tank instruments (a plug-in) with the Keystation in Pro-Tools with no problem, but I still love working with GarageBand. As I said I bought the new Ilife suite but have had no improvement with the sound in GarageBand. I run my sounds out to the M-Box via USB, then to a small Mackie mixer and onto the monitors. The fact that I can play Sample-Tank instruments with no problem in Pro-Tools tells me that the problem I'm having with Garageband's instruments are somewhere in Garageband. Does that make any sense? Thanks for responding!

  • 3D TV 55TL515u buzzing sound

Whenever there is an audio lull in whatever is on the screen, the TV will intermittently make a buzzing sound.
    It isn't constant, but intermittent.
The buzz can be also heard through the normal audio level if the volume is reduced slightly.
    It is very annoying.
I have updated the firmware in the TV to the latest on the web site, which is 2.2. There was no change in the symptom.
Has anyone else had this problem?

  • Mighty mouse makes buzzing sound?

Just gone through the procedures of manually fixing the common problem of the mighty mouse tracking ball having stopped working due to finger junk/maintenance neglect.
As the Apple official recommendation of reversing mouse and working out any blockage didn't suffice, I found:
    http://julianschrader.de/20071012-how-to-fix-the-mighty-mouse-scroll-ball-video/
    ...was the practical answer.
All good, so far. (for many it seems to be!)
However, having reconnected the scroll-wheel unit, screws, ribbon cables, clips, etc. and re-plugged back into the Mac, powered up, the mouse is now making crazy buzzing sounds and is automatically continuously scrolling upwards, unintentionally!
I have checked and re-checked the correct re-assembling of the four tiny magnetic stamps in the scroll wheel unit and all connections are established, but still the buzzing and scrolling. Also the 'ratchet' type of noise when scrolling is lost to quiet, but smooth scrolling.
Am really missing the luxury of efficient safari browsing and the zoom function, but as the mouse is 24 months old, I am wondering whether this is the reason and has partially bitten the dust.
Thanks in advance for any comments.

    Hi
Sounds like a fatally damaged mouse to me.
I gave up on the Mighty Mouse a year ago after 5 replacements from Apple. Instead I opted for the Logitech MX Revolution - a vastly better mousing solution.
However, I also opted for SteerMouse instead of Logitech's software driver. Logitech knows how to create a really good mouse, however, their software expertise leaves much to be desired. Also, the only way I could get the computer to initially recognize the mouse was to boot into Windows. As I said, Logitech is on the short-end of software development.

  • Flash CC is running painfully slow and quitting on me, also have sound problems

My Flash Creative cloud application is running very slowly. I am not sure whether it is to do with my file size, the file size is 310MB and i have been told this isnt that big.
I have recently brought more ram so my computer runs faster, this has helped my computer generally but not with flash.
I am also getting a buzzing sound when I press play for my sound. It doesnt stop even if i press stop or pause in the timeline. I have to quit flash entirely for it to stop. I have tested to see if it is that individual sound file but i am getting the same problem with all sound files.
    HELP IS NEEDED QUICKLY PLEASE!!!

It's a known issue that Adobe says will be fixed soon. It's really a problem though. We are now back to CS6 for our current project, and it's got it's own issues with streaming sounds.
They have made some pretty amazing progress with Flash and Air in the last couple of years. Unfortunately, it feels like new and old problems come and go with each update. Hard to complain too much though, we'd be sunk without these tools.
Hopefully the next update will be relased soon.
